Vermont out of USA?

It is quite possible that the USA will cease to exist one day. While its politicians are debating the wisdom of allowing immigration to USA, the people of Vermont are talking of independence! Such a movement is on in New Hampshire, Hawaii, Oregon, etc.
AFTER READING Mark Mardell's BBC blog on the possibility of a split in Belgium and other articles in which Joe Biden [US Senator from Delaware] talks about a partition of Iraq, it is better to remind the world including the people of India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh and other countries of the possibility that the USA may cease to exist in the foreseeable future.
At a time when people are immigrating to the USA, the politicians are debating the wisdom of allowing immigration to the USA and requiring even US citizens to re-enter their country with a passport, the people of Vermont are beginning to say that 'enough is enough' and talking of independence.
Supposedly the secession question was resolved with the end of the US Civil War in 1865 but at the beginning of the 21st century, people in America are be-ginning to see through this Republican / Democratic empire masquerading itself as a democracy. Others, who are afraid of being "foreigners in their own country", even though they stole the territories from other people, are entertaining such a thought.
Vermont was once a Republic from 1777-1791 until being forced to join the US [or until it was admitted as a State] depending on which side one hears the story from. At the present time, there is a movement for a Second Vermont Republic which received publicity in the BBC and RCI [Canada]; even the CBS has been forced to address the issue.
According to a poll conducted by the University of Vermont, the desire for independence increased from 7% to 13% during the period 2006 - 2007. The Governor of Vermont, Jim Douglas, declared that Vermont's independence from the USA as a viable option, during his recent appearance in the New England Cable News. His announcement appears on You Tube: http: // www. youtube.com / watch?v=U2ypZBSGQek
People in Vermont are learning to grow their own food and live off their land. Others display auto adhesives and placards stating: "US Out of Vermont and Iraq".
There are critics who dismiss this latest news from Vermont as "mindless rantings" and "a corporation of a few". Remember that in the USA, it was a few people who wanted independence and it was for themselves and the elite. These people were also accused of mindless rantings.
The movement does not stop in Vermont. There is a movement by Libertarians in New Hampshire to create a free State, free from government intervention. Hawaii has a government in exile called the Kingdom of Hawaii. Oregon, Washing-ton, and British Columbia have a movement called "Free Cascadia". Michigan, Idaho, and South Carolina are also into secessionist movement. Only time will tell what happens if the City State replaces the Nation State in North America.
