On Google Map you can see actual photos of streets, houses, and businesses. With a Google Map, ANYONE can see visually where you live.
I don't know if anyone else has heard about his, but without our permission, our homes are up on the internet. So if anyone was looking for you, they would be able to figure out how to break into your home by looking at your home off the internet. This includes but is not limited to rapists, child molesters, nazis, crazy ex-boyfriends, crazy ex-girlfriends, cops, fbi, etc. "Portland Police Bureau told KATU News the new mapping could be very useful for them, like if they had a warrant for an arrest and wanted to see the best way to approach a home." Oh but not everyone's home or business is on the internet. "Google has censored images that are sensitive to national security concerns. For example, they blurred out the official Washington, D.C. residence of Vice President Dick Cheney". We all know that Google also works with Homeland Security. This is just another step toward our invasion of privacy.
