Col Ted Westhusing letter to Commander Petraeus - Then he committed suicide (in 2005)

(quote in 2005
"Reevaluate yourselves, cdrs [commanders]. You are not what you think you are and I know it."

Impeachment - Suicide - Warmongers - Petraeus - Cooked Information - Blood is on "Their" Hands
Crimes - Contractors - Col Ted Westhusing - Joe Anybody - Death Before Dishonor - Ethics - Right from Wrong - No Representation by Representative - Millions Dead - Earl Blumenauer's circus
Regarding Impeachment and House Representative Earl Blumenauer's circus of denial
I originally posted this first thing this morning on BlueOregon.com and here is that link:

This isn't rocket science
Crimes have been committed
They need to be investigated its that simple.
My cousin Ted Westhusing shot himself in the head in Baghdad in 2005 in his trailer
He was in a war that was waged based on lies and cooked information
He was a high ranking US Military official, training the Iraqi police force

His death bed note said "Death before Dishonor"
He was working with "contractors" & his commanding officer was that General Petraeus guy.
He got nowhere with Petraeus.
He was disgusted, it was fruitless, (sound familiar to anyone)
He was the highest ranking officer to die in Iraq (he was, but now I'm not sure in that recently there is so many dieing over there)
Here is a news story on my cousin
Get this He killed himself out of disgust for this immoral war.
Geeee morals what's that ?

I have written Earl and my other congressmen about this war
And about illegal spying on citizens, and other violations by this administration
(My Indy Post5/06)

(my letter to Congress here)

Either you act like Petraeus did,in regards to my cousin Ted, or you do what is ethical and just.(?) hmmmmmmm?

Its one or the other!

I have been sticking up for Earl for years on Indy Media and other places (as I also do for Ralph Nader) ........
But I draw my line now with Earl, due to his stubborn refusal to know right form wrong
He is pretty much 'almost irritated' by us wanting Impeachment

I stand by my cousins words "I will not be sullied any more"
This man Bush deserves nothing but a trial.
It makes no difference if it is popular, or worth it, or if it will stick and he be removed

As Bonnie Tinker said at the town hall meeting, "the time for Justice is always now"

My cousin Ted thought so
John Bradach's nephew thought so
And with the sincerity that Joe Walsh (The Lone Vet) has asked numerous times so courageously, "How many more must die before you wake up and do something?"
Apparently it could be millions (or more)

For this rocket science program has The Blumenauer clan touting that "they" care.
But if they did they would be out wearing a red shirt.
I have been there 10 weeks in a row, it is in sacrifice of my lunch hour I do this to bring Justice to the table at Earls office, in hopes that guys just like my cousin Ted and John's nephew, and the Iraq refugees I just recently met can have a little peace and a chance to live another day. I need my representative to represent me.

It's amazing my cousin a Col. shot himself to keep his honor.
Yet Earl and Willie all sit around and pretend they care but their hands are tied.
I wish my cousin had his hands tied that fateful day

I wish Earl (Willie) could see the difference between crimes worthy of Impeachment vs. rocket science spin.
So many are dead. So many are dieing.
And I read out here bickering over fine print law, and justification to do what ever they want (fill in blank) at their own whim n peril, with no remorse
Its plain and its simple - Our country is murdering the Iraqi population.

If your against this reckless administration trashing the constitution and international law then come on out and put your BLOOD red "Impeach" shirt on and stand for justice and honesty

bicker and hem n haw over sally said, she said, and/or fine print rules of Congress and Executive law.
But like my cousin Ted, who was a professor at West Point said, "This is wrong I will die before I listen to Petraeus and Bush for one more day" (my words of his words)

BANG! One shot to his head.
Ya got really love this frickin war and the men who keep it going
I can see why these Representative (rocket scientists) don't get it
Its so hard to know right form wrong.

Ya know the suicide rate is escalating over there?
And the horror stories from Refugee's and Veterans are Horrific (actually mind numbing)
Those torture pictures alone scarred me for life, yet Bush uses back room signage statements (more fine print) to use rendition and sick torture methods, scrapping Geneva, and habeas corpus and he as much as spits on the (our) constitution

Oh "we don't want to start a circus by bringing up Impeachment"... ....noooooo!
I would rather be at a circus than this blood bath... .. millions are now dead!

One side for Peace Justice, and Impeachment

One side for Law Breaking and Blood, Death, Murder, and Suicide Provocateurs
(who all for war profiteering/greed/oil/power)

Pick your sides, no need to bring your rocket scientific stuff ... ..its either, your on one side or the other.

That said to help clarify the right n wrong part, read this short clip Ted wrote before he died, notice the part to Petraeus his "cdrs"
Sounds to me like Move On was "Right On"!

More on another Indy Media page about my cousin Ted Westhusing I posted in may 2007 is here:

Thanks for telling me it was a good day until I briefed you. [Redacted name]—You are only interested in your career and provide no support to your staff—no msn [mission] support and you don't care. I cannot support a msn that leads to corruption, human right abuses and liars. I am sullied—no more. I didn't volunteer to support corrupt, money grubbing contractors, nor work for commanders only interested in themselves. I came to serve honorably and feel dishonored. I trust no Iraqi. I cannot live this way. All my love to my family, my wife and my precious children. I love you and trust you only. Death before being dishonored any more. Trust is essential—I don't know who trust anymore. [sic] Why serve when you cannot accomplish the mission, when you no longer believe in the cause, when your every effort and breath to succeed meets with lies, lack of support, and selfishness? No more. Reevaluate yourselves, cdrs [commanders]. You are not what you think you are and I know it.
COL Ted Westhusing
Life needs trust. Trust is no more for me here in Iraq.

2nd effort at endorsing Joe~~ 06.Oct.2007 22:07

Good to see you at the Wed. City Council deal, and impressed that you have been as regular as you have been with the LV's Thurs. Blumie events! The Westhusing murder has been on Wayne Madsen's radar for quite a while, and I want to share with IM readers what he learned, back in early 2006. The site is at www.waynemadsenreport.com, and there may be other articles, but I just wanted to flesh out the thread a bit.

publication date: Apr 15, 2007

January 14, 2006 -- Serious questions remain concerning Col. Westhusing's "suicide" in Iraq. Army's chief ethics expert was murdered, according to Carlyle Group insider.

According an informed source within The Carlyle Group business consortium, Col. Ted Westhusing, the Army's top military ethicist and professor at West Point, did not commit suicide in a Baghdad trailer in June 2005 as was widely reported in the mainstream media five months later. At the time of his death, Westhusing was investigating contract violations and human rights abuses by US Investigations Services (USIS), formerly a federal agency, the Office of Federal Investigations (OFI), which operated under the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).

In 1996, OFI, which conducted background investigations for civil service personnel, was privatized. The 700 government employees of OFI became employee-owners as part of USIS. In January 2003, the New York investment firm Welsh, Carson, Anderson, and Stowe, described by a Carlyle insider as a virtual shadow operation for The Carlyle Group, bought USIS for $545 million. With 5000 current and former employees of USIS sharing $500 million, the deal made them wealthy with the stroke of a pen. However, upper management within USIS became much wealthier than the rank-and-file. Insiders report that the twelve top managers at USIS became multimillionaires as a result of their cashing in of their Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs). Many of these instant millionaires already had a close relationship with The Carlyle Group.

Carlyle had been a shareholder in USIS since 1999 and with the buy-out deal via the Welsh, Carson, Anderson, and Stowe deal, Carlyle became the major shareholder.

USIS continues to have a virtual exclusivity deal to perform background security investigations for OPM. The company bills itself as "one of the largest Intelligence and Security Services companies in North America."

With the Iraq invasion, USIS obtained lucrative Pentagon private security contracts in Iraq. At a 2004 job fair in Falls Church, Virginia, USIS was advertising for "interrogators" and "protection specialists" for "overseas assignments." While he was in Iraq training Iraqi police and overseeing the USIS contract to train police as part of the Pentagon's Civilian Police Assistance Training Team, Westhusing received an anonymous letter that reported USIS's Private Services Division (PSD) was engaged in fraudulent activities in Iraq, including over-billing the government. In addition, the letter reported that USIS security personnel had murdered innocent Iraqis. After demanding answers from USIS, Westhusing reported the problems up the chain of command. After an "investigation," the Army found no evidence of wrongdoing by USIS.

That decision signed Col. Westhusing's death sentence. USIS and Carlyle have powerful allies in the administration, including Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, the Princeton roommate of Carlyle Chairman Emeritus and former Defense Secretary Frank Carlucci. Former President George H. W. Bush, former Secretary of State James Baker, and former British Prime Minister John Major are Carlyle international advisers. George W. Bush was formerly employed by a Carlyle subsidiary and the Bin Laden business cartel was a one-time investor in the firm.

Westhusing, who, according to friends and colleagues, showed no signs of depression, left a suicide note the Army concluded was in his handwriting. However, Westhusing's family and friends have thrown cold water on the Army's investigation.

Col. Ted Westhusing: Chalk up another victim of the Bush crime family

WMR can report that based on information obtained from Carlyle insiders, Col. Westhusing's death was not caused by suicide. The fact that Westhusing was investigating one of the most politically and financially powerful firms in the world resulted in higher-ups wanting him out of the way. According to the Los Angeles Times, all of the witnesses who claimed Westhusing shot himself were USIS employees. In addition, a USIS manager interfered with the crime scene, including handling Westhusing's service revolver. The USIS manager was not tested for gunpowder residue on his hands.

Westhusing's investigation threatened to unearth a network of fraudsters looting the US Treasury that included the Bush family and some of their closest financial partners. After Westhusing's murder, USIS management sent a vaguely-worded memo to employees about how to respond to derogatory information in the media or rumors about USIS. Management's attention, described as "psychotic" in nature, was on USIS's upcoming IPO (initial public offering), according to a well-placed source.

USIS also owns Total Information Services of Tulsa, Oklahoma, a commercial personal data mining operation.

Ted was not "Happy At All With The Iraq Mission" 07.Oct.2007 20:22

Joe Anybody iam@joe-anybody.com

Thanks for the information Styve

In my opinion I know that Ted was having depressing thoughts of the war hi was in
I know from emails (only a few) that he was very unhappy and was going to be "retiring" as soon as he planned on getting out. That in its self i am sure was stressing him out

I believe the 4 page letter he wrote was his own
I believe the reports that he was acting despondently and down
I believe he was disgusted with the corruption
I believe he was overwhelmed that his commandeers cared only about hem selves
I know he was involved with the creepy contractors and the Kingpins (Carlyle Group) and nothing is impossible with those groups, But ....

I think and feel the hell hole we have created over there was what Ted seen and lived
He knew there was no logical and positive way out
He wrote the truth and shot himself
He was surrounded by some of the worst men in the world,(USIS, Insurgents, Neo-Cons, Crooked Contractors, War Hawks, Petraeus and like minded, etc)
and I really think that the horrors of the armed madhouse he was so close to made him take "the only way out"

I will look over the info from WMR
I differ on his mental position as you mention in the last few paragraphs
I figure his tolerance and disgust level was MAXED OUT

I am compiling info myself on this topic to try and put together a research / Internet-link based / website to help understand what and why Ted is not with us today.
I also feel like Ted needs me and all of us that are not in those killing fields to hear his scream for honor and justice.
I hear it loud and clear, I feel compelled to do something, I need to do something.
He was a loving man, a smart, loyal, loving, dedicated, honorable man.
He was my cousin whom I played with when I was young, but had not seen him in the past 30 years or more
I feel this war and its lies and corruptness took Ted from us here on Earth.... he is not alone the list of the dead is growing everyday
