Audiofile: Community Voices Opposing the LNG Pipeline and Terminal

The largest fossil fuel project on the west coast is proposed for Portland's backyard: the Columbia estuary and the Oregon coast. The project is known as LNG, the liquified natural gas terminal and pipeline. This audiofile is a mosaic of community voices from Astoria, one of the areas facing this public and environmental health hazard.

This isn't just a problem for Astorians. The construction of the LNG pipeline and terminal could devastate an already fragile salmon habitat, increase air and water pollution, and displace people living near the terminal or along the proposed pipeline route.
