McKinney, Sheehan, Tarpley Warn Of New Cheney 9/11. Statement by A Group of US Opposition Political Leaders Gathered in Protest at the Bush Compound in Kennebunkport, Maine, August 24-25, 2007

To the American people, and to peace loving individuals everywhere:

Massive evidence has come to our attention which shows that the backers, controllers, and allies of Vice President Dick Cheney are determined to orchestrate and manufacture a new 9/11 terror incident, and/or a new Gulf of Tonkin war provocation over the coming weeks and months. Such events would be used by the Bush administration as a pretext for launching an aggressive war against Iran, quite possibly with nuclear weapons, and for imposing a regime of martial law here in the United States. We call on the House of Representatives to proceed immediately to the impeachment of Cheney, as an urgent measure for avoiding a wider and more catastrophic war. Once impeachment has begun, it will be easier for loyal and patriotic military officers to refuse illegal orders coming from the Cheney faction. We solemnly warn the people of the world that any terrorist attack with weapons of mass destruction taking place inside the United States or elsewhere in the immediate future must be considered the prima facie responsibility of the Cheney faction. We urge responsible political leaders everywhere to begin at once to inoculate the public opinion of their countries against such a threatened false flag terror operation.

(Signed) A Group of US Opposition Political Leaders Gathered in Protest at the Bush Compound in Kennebunkport, Maine, August 24-25, 2007

Official statement from Dahlia S. Wasfi, MD:

***Re: "The Kennebunkport Warning"***

The Bush administration has proven that sacrificing lives of Americans and other innocents around the world is a price worth paying in the name of criminal corporate profit. Dr. Phil says that the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. As such, it is certainly within the realm of possibility for the neo-conservative junta in Washington to launch another war based on lies. However, I do not have "the smoking gun," if you will, to prove it.

I signed a statement in Kennebunkport to endorse the impeachment of Dick Cheney, but my signature has been used on this "Warning" without my consent. While I was humbled to have my signature misappropriated with such prominent voices as Cindy Sheehan, Cynthia McKinney, and Jamilla El-Shafei, none of us signed that document.

Therefore, please contact the statement's distributors for information on their evidence.

With you in the struggle until justice is served,

Just the facts "Mr. Frodo" 27.Aug.2007 17:23

While I an a supporter of impeaching Bush and Cheney and continue to be a strong supporter of ending this illegal and immoral war, I find it interesting that the author of this article seems to have resorted to the same tactics of the Bush gang. That is: that, in fact, we have new secret evidence (massive evidence) and that you need to trust us and that we are, in fact, warning you for your own security.

Sort of sounds like a Bush line, doesnt it. We are in charge of the information and we are warning you for your own good. Sorry, Mr Frodo, I dont buy it. If you want me to believe that you have a case, present the evidence in an open forum with real time information and facts and documentation. Then the readers of this forum can evaluate the imformation and make an educated decision and take appropriate action.

Here's what Cynthia McKinney said at Kennebunkport: 28.Aug.2007 12:09

Jody Paulson

"I want Cindy to win."

Cynthia McKinney
Kennebunkport, Maine
Peace Rally
August 25, 2007

"Our country is in danger, not just from foreign enemies, but above all, from our own misguided policies. This war must be ended; and in my judgment, it can be ended. And it does not involve giving up. But it does involve not continuing to follow the bankrupt policy that we're following at the present time."

Bobby Kennedy said that almost 40 years ago. Imagine the kind of America we could have had with a President like him.

Instead, we've sunk to stolen elections, a George W. Bush Presidency, and an exhaustively complicit Democratic Party.

What about a livable wage for America's workers?

What about repealing the Patriot Act, the Secret Evidence Act, and the Military Tribunals Act?

Why don't we know the truth about September 11th?

George Bush spied on Americans. And lied our country into war.

While our soldiers and others suffer daily from depleted uranium, who will take nuclear power off the table?

Why is impeachment off the table?

The U.S. is now the world's greatest debtor.

While our infrastructure crumbles, the U.S. tumbles down the world rankings for life expectancy.

Of industrialized countries, we spend the least for and have the most children in poverty.

Unarmed black men are murdered by rogue police . . .

Latinos are harassed . . .

Legitimate political activities of Muslims are shut down . . .

And the plight of poor whites is all but forgotten.

Somebody's trying mighty hard to divide us in this country. They figure if we're busy hating each other, we won't see the new generation of robber barons stealing our country blind and trying to define for us who we are in this New United States.

I reject the plans they have for you and me.

They want war funding, they get war funding.

They want tax cuts, they get tax cuts.

They put Blackwater mercenaries on New Orleans streets . . . where they remain even today.

They don't want Katrina survivors to return in order to make way for 2 million dollar apartments.

I rejoiced when the Democrats took over Congress even though the war party made sure I wouldn't be there to vote against the war.

But I have to admit that I'm saddened deeply by what my Opposition Party has become.

When George Bush stole two Presidential elections from then, they didn't even fight for themselves! And now they're defined by their failure to fight for us.

That means, that now, more than ever, we the people are the ones who have to take our country back in the most fundamental way.

We don't have to settle for injustice, environmental degradation, and more war.

We refuse to be complicit in torture, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and crimes against the peace.

Our children deserve a better country and the world deserves a better partner.

That's why I'm happy to see Cindy Sheehan run for Congress. I want Cindy to win.

I want to see peace people, all over this country, run for office on a platform to stop the war machine now.

We can do it, and we can win.

I know that because we've witnessed people power take over governments in Cuba, Venezuela, Cote d'Ivoire, Brazil, Argentina, Spain, India, Bolivia, chile, Ecuador, and Nicaragua. And let us not forget the valiant people of Haiti who twice and their elected President, Aristide, removed from office due to U.S. intrigue but who demanded the integrity of their vote and their democracy so that the President, today, is the valid choice of the Haitian people.

If they can do that, I know we can find another President willing to say what Dwight Eisenhower said over 40 years ago:

"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies in a final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and not clothed. The world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists and the hope of its children."

I want peace and I want it now!

Regarding massive evidence 28.Aug.2007 15:05

Mr Froto,

Thanks for clarifying the source of the information. Unfortunatley, those sources concerning the orginal signing of the document seem to be at odds against each other. At one web site, the document is presented as being individualy signed, at the other web site it is not. Which is it? signed or unsigned? Looks like somebody did some editing somewhere.

In addition, I have gone through the links that you have listed regarding this document, and unless I am missing something (I read through all of the 4 pages of Google news sources that you provided ) none of the Google news sources that you refer the reader to have any information regarding the actual document. Is there a news or press release from the demonstrators regarding the statement itself? If so, what is the link to that statement? It is my hoope tht you just didnt dump distantly related blog and news stories on this posting in an effort at some form of Sophmoric Cheerleading.

The more important point that I was trying to get to in the previous post, however, had to do with the statement: "massive evidence has come to our attention". You may find this hard to believe, but as an average reader who doesnt trust the motives of the Bush thugs, I would like to know what that evidence is. So I will attempt to ask the guestion again, what, specifically, is the massive evidence that has come to their attention recently that has prompted this statement?

I would like to have this evidence to be presented in the spirit of transparency. This is why I felt that declaring to have evidence and then not telling what that evidence is out of some sort of secrecy does no good in developing trust or an open dialoge between all of us that are concerned about the direction things are heading. Using Bush like tactics does not help things, it just makes things more Bush like. If Cindy Sheehan and others have massive evidence, or any evidence for that matter, of a planned attack, it becomes their resposibilty to provide that evidence in an open and public forum so it can be evaluated and acted upon. Failure to do so, in my opinion, is dangerous and only seves to help the blind further lead the blind.

Dividing the AW movement at a crucial time 11.Sep.2007 16:43

It is more than a little obvious that this is an infiltration of the AW movement at a crucial time, during the senate hearing on Iraq, in order to divide and distract us from pressuring our elected officals to end this war. There is plenty of evidence in the protracted arguments between factions across many forums for you to research on your own to come to this kind of conclusion; people are stuck arguing over the wrong things, not focusing on the pressure and momentum this movement has. Focus people, now is not the time for such BS.

It's must just be an obvious coincidence this argument also involves the impeachment arugument, and is currently dividing those who had seemed united over this issue.

Aggressivly Question.
