Lone Vet Report

DOD screws vets
May 31, 2007, 11:41 AM

There is a report that I just read about DOD reactivating members of IAVA so that they can change their Honorable Discharges to something less. They are using the same crap that they use to recall inactive reserves, but now they are using it as punishment for veterans being activists for peace. Please read and send on to anybody who will listen to this, yet another horror story of this administration to shut up vets.

Catch-22 01.Jun.2007 05:05

"That's some catch, that Catch-22," he [Yossarian] observed.
"It's the best there is," Doc Daneeka agreed.

I find it interesting that in order to hold the hearing they are going to reactivate him. If he wasn't active, how could he be in violation? If there were not patches or insignias was it a uniform? I and many others wore our jungle fatigue uniforms with patches at every demonstration we ever went to back in the day and nothing like this ever happened to any of us. See Dewey Canyon III as an example.

VFP 72 sent him some $$ for his defense fund.
