End the Occupation March / Vigil,Waterfront Park,Memorial Day,Portland ,Oregon

It's been posted on an alternative site, that a Vigil/quiet March,will occur along the Waterfront,in Portland ,Oregon @ 1:p.m. to 2:P.M. this Monday,May 28th.2007
Memorial Day,May 28th,2007 At Waterfront Park,unless otherwise announced( to be relocated).

Meeting at the Waterfront Fountain, Standing quietly to Honor Our Fallen Soldiers,And Honor in soldidarity the ones whom served in the Past that are still with us.

Then Marching to end the Occupation at 1:30 p.m. down to the Korean War Memorial.


This location was chosen, because in years past, The Rose Fesitival Waterfront Villiage/carnival which is now set up, groups like PPRC, were warmly recieved with cheers from carnival goers,and others using the walkway as they marched along.

This is a Walkway, and we are to be respectful and keep the path clear.Suggest staying on the sidewalk to avoid any city citation issues

All groups, such as Code Pink, and PPRC,Portland Peaceful Response Coalition and Veterns for Peace and Those Seriously Pissed off Grannies and ALL others are welcome.
Bring your own water and pink umbrella's ...
