Oemig to introduce bill on impeachment in Washington

Washington State Senator Eric Oemig is announcing that he is introducing a joint memorial that calls on Congress to begin investigation of the serious allegations against the President and Vice President.
1:00 P.M. WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 14TH, 2007. SENATE HEARING ROOM 2 OF
THE JOHN A. CHERNBERG BUILDING. WA STATE CAPITOL, OLYMPIA.
If a state legislature passes this, according to House Rules, it goes to the floor of the U.S. House of Represenatives where it can trigger an impeachment investigation. New Mexcio is also considering a similar resolution.
The EAstside Fellowship of Reconciliation in Bellevue WA and Olympia's Citizens' Movement to Impeach Bush/Cheney have collected over 15,000 signaures support an impeachment investigation.
We would like to get a big show of support to convince the state legislators to support this resolution.
Hope to see you there.

Now if the other 48 states would wake up and do the same.
It would be such a statement if at least the majority of the states would take seriously the crimes commited by this administration.

Push Oregon Impeachment Bill Tonight Thursday Feb. 15 15.Feb.2007 10:03

Constituent

OR State Rep. Chip Shields ( shieldsforhouse@hotmail.com) has been a strong & consistent war critic. Tonight he will promote legislative antiwar resolutions, 7 p.m. at PCC Cascade Campus, Student Center Rm. 03,(basement.) Maybe he would push impeachment with enough public support!
This is a Move-On movie screening event and they "require" registration & minimal ground rules. For background on state impeachment efforts, I traced links from PDX Indymedia's New Mexico impeachment coverage.

Time correction 15.Feb.2007 16:07
