Seattle proved wrong in WTO arrests

A U.S. District Court jury decided that Seattle violated the civil rights pf WTO protesters.
The arrests of protesters at the 1999 World Trade Center action violated due-process rights, according to the District Court jury. Freedom of Speech was apparently not violated by the arrests. The jury will now enter a penalty phase to see if there will be a monetary award for around 170 persons arrested in the demonstrations.
