life support systems

I found a great web site for anyone who recognises that global warming is the greatest threat. Sadly those that run the site have yet to understand that we cannot stop Climate change they show a inconvienient rather than an accurate one. Even though the site faces facts and presents a doomsday message. The writer clearly maintains that humans can prevail and restore the planets life support systems.

I will prove humans cannot.

please review the site.  http://www.planetextinction.com/

I am pleasantly surprised to find a web page that duplicates what I have already realized. Having researched the same topic for a decade I have become obsessed, panicked and depressed after reaching a conclusion that nothing can be done to save the world.

Saddened by the sheer ignorance of subject matter held by the general population and shocked by the disinterest shown by my friends & contacts I carried on quietly trying to convince myself that I was wrong.

Researching Global warming while it was just a theory I deduced tipping points before the term was even coined. Co2 absorbed into oceans I knew would lower the PH turning shore breaks into acid, stripping the limestone effectively creating more co2 globally than power plants burning fossil fuel.

The site list omits so many TP's that have already occurred. Salt water destroying land has released co2, so to have droughts. Climate change has already ruined co2 absorption rates while increasing ocean warmth has caused the deaths of plankton. All change is reducing the overall absorption rates by considerable amounts. Melting glaciers flooded rivers and minor global warming events like wildfires or severe storms all combine to deliver a gross increase in global warming gas.

I am now looking for survival stratages because I am no longer hopeful that a solution to avert the effects of global warming would be acted upon even if found.

Like the message on the site I visited,, my informed opinion advocated the planting of trees coupled with no more burning of oil to be the obvious solution. However as time ran out I knew this would not be enough even if it were possible.

My research has concerned "Worlds of Difference" one that explains a great deal about why this situation arose. There is only one world but we have different names for it. The one, human activity created is worlds away from our planet earth

The earth, is confused with world, our planet is only valued by us to provided all the raw material for this 'end of world' development.

I realized that saving the world was no longer possible and was something I no longer wanted to do. . I realized that the world and our concept of it must be changed before positive action could take place.

The prefix 'New' in our world and its envisaged order, explains that our world is separate from our planet. Our world is an economic business concept translating into a fossil fuel burning globalized industry that will protect its own interests regardless of the known consequences.

In this world share holder's pressure industry to lobby governments whose main concerns can only be economic. In this environment economic concern cannot be undermined by environmental realities until catastrophe ensues, even then the old ways will not be forgotten.

When this occurs we will call it a World recession, a passing phase and in a similar way that we respond to the drought, we will assume that difficult times will pass.

This already allows us to continual buisness as usual

The structure that has evolved in our world cannot be dismantled or changed dramatically to use alternative fuels, its needs of power are too vast for the meager amounts of energy available from alternative sources and our world cannot maintain current economic outputs if its fuels are curtailed.

Therefore the idea that governments will support any cause in planting trees or cutting fuel use is a na´ve one, the government I know will do the opposite. They will build more roads, extend airports, cut fuel costs and build new energy plants, they will encourage business as usual, because as we both know their job and the reason they get the vote depends on their ability to produce a surplus.

In the sites solution billions of trees need to find trillions of acres in viable land for transplantation; they also want the world to stop burning oil. Presumably high oil yielding plants will be grown to replace mineral oil needs. Realistically the plan has already run out of land before it implimentation, because all of the world's productive land is currently being used to feed 6.8 billion people.

Growing biofuel is already proving to be counter productive using more energy than the end product can produce and to plant trees instead of a food crop will not be acceptable.

The ten year doomsday prediction might just sound like a convenient round number to most readers but as we both know we are just a little ahead of the game. In a couple of years opinion will shift around to accept the notion that our economic world is ending so people like us must come with a plan to survive in what nature has left to share.

I would suggest that funds be found to build a biosphere, capable of supporting human life for centuries. In this way humans may enter the future with a notion of history. Equipped with a biosphere a few could retain and expand on current education.

Failing to have a plan like this will mean that lucky survivors left to their own devices will be charged with taking human knowledge into a dark age.
The future will have similarities with human history as unfortunately the single common knowledge that has got us to where we are has been religion.

In the future Religion will be used to on take the legend of our present time, an education that instills in us the faith that the planets resources are here for us to exploit.

If left with this type of belief the new world order will be a duplicate of our past.

To end I would like to point out that if I was talking about leaving this planet and colonizing another I would be proposing the same thing, a biosphere that can be designed and assembled in a location where human life can be sustained.

However here on earth such a proposal is possible, comparatively inexpensive and can make use of current technology. A biosphere with geothermal power plants can be built without publicity, equipped with hydroponics farms & desalination plants. Such a facility can be used while the environment collapses.

Funding should not be hard to find once benefactors are convinced of the future environment. After all what will the rich do with their money once the world recession hits?

Kind regards and thank you for your time

I was just thinking tonight.. hey yes Global Climatic Change is here, but its not really that new. Gaia has survived worse. Like that big o astroid that wiped out the dinosaurs. So lets put a positive spin on Global Climatic Change... once it gets done and Gaia finds a stablization with ecosystems again then maybe a highly complex social insects (Blattella Myrmidon) or bipedal rodent gestalt (Rattus Sapien Gestalt) will look back at those nearly hairless over active primates (Homo Stupidity Stupidity) and just communicate (maybe via chemical smell or through some sort of ritual dance) the thankfullness that We, Humans, sacrificed our evolutionary path for their evolutionary path to branch off. Much like people do looking at the dinosaurs. So as the biosphere loses its polar bears, migratory birds, whales, schools of fish and habitable regions.... just remember we will hand it all over to a species far more evolved than "humans" it is just a tragedy so many other species must suffer and go extinct. And think about this the faster and more dramatic Global Climatic Change takes place the less long term damage this "dead end" species called humans will cause. Infact maybe the best think we could do for life is to collectively take cyonide starting with those waiting for the Rapture or some other name for a final judgement from an anthromorphic beared white male father figure.

"Some say the end is near.
Some say we'll see armageddon soon.
I certainly hope we will.
I sure could use a vacation from this
Stupid shit, silly shit, stupid shit.
One great big festering neon distraction,
I've a suggestion to keep you all occupied.
Learn to swim x3.
Mom's gonna fix it all soon.
Mom's comin' round to put it back the way it ought to be.
Learn to swim x8."

"Beware the beast man, for he is the Devil's pawn. Alone among God's primates, he kills for sport or lust or greed. Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother's land. Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert of his home and yours. Shun him; drive him back into his jungle lair, for he is the harbinger of death."
