Thousands of survivors of Hurricane Katrina who were promised refuge were instead taken to a freeway intersection, where they were penned in by machine-gun-toting military personnel and subjected to indescribably inhumane treatment. See and hear first-hand accounts from survivors of what they refer to as the Causeway Concentration Camp.
This film was produced by Elizabeth Atly, an award-winning video producer and a long-time Portland peace activist. She will attend the screening and be available to answer questions from the audience after the film.
