human & civil rights oregon elections 2006

Rarely, do we get a real choice in judicial elections- Mark Kramer (Multnomah County)

Rarely, do we get a real choice in judicial elections. But we do now, with Mark Kramer running for an open Circuit Court position in Multnomah County (#28). We have a wonderful opportunity to put a strong, smart, progressive lawyer on the bench. Mark is a strong advocate for access to justice issues. See his website:  http://markkramerforjudge.com
Rarely, do we get a real choice in judicial elections. But we do now, with Mark Kramer running for an open Circuit Court position in Multnomah County (#28). I know Mark personally. I support him and urge you to support him. We have a wonderful opportunity to put a strong, smart, progressive lawyer on the bench, and we must not squander that opportunity.

For more information about Mark or his campaign see his website:  http://markkramerforjudge.com

In his 25 years of practice and community activitism, he has represented poor and working class people (as a public defender and for St. Andrew Legal Clinic). He has worked for the legislature and written several laws. Mark has been a fierce advocate for our public schools and for his local community.

Mark is a strong advocate for access to justice issues. He will continue to fight for adequate resources for people who can't afford lawyers (that's about 50% of us!). Mark stands out in this race as the only candidate with 25 years of criminal law, family law and legislative experience. I believe that Mark's lifelong advocacy for justice, his experience seeing things from diverse points of view, and his strong intellect will lead him to be an extremely fair and fiercely independent judge.
