The Education crisis facing America.

It has become more and more evident that America one of the worlds richest countries is facing a crisis. The crisis America is facing is not a disease, nor is it a plague of any sorts, it is a crisis that can be easily fixed by proper thinking and plane good teaching.

The schools I went to in southern Oregon (Lincoln savage middle school, Hidden Valley High school) both of those schools where drastically under funded, no one in Josephine County wanted to pay taxes for them, I guess you pay for what you get.
Education is the core foundation for society as a whole; A society without an educational system eventually collapses to its own stupidity.
For example the federal funding for Oregon's schools in the early 1980s was $33,113,519 for the 1980 school year, 1981 was $28,225,452 that is a drop of $4,888,067 in funding for Oregon's schools,

The state by state educational spending dropped under President Reagen.

Now this is not true for all republican presidents, President Nixon was pro education and he is one of the Presidents who spent the most on domestic programs such as education, clear air act, clean water act.
I wish their were more Nixon Republicans in the republican party, America needs more of them.
Ronald Reagen was our 40th President to sit in the white house office, His legacy that he left us with A the Star Wars program which may never work, B a dysfunctional educational system which gets worse with every president (democrat and Republican a like).

old news

How about some current spending figures? Not that any of us couldn't look it up easily, but if you're going to publish an article how about making it current and useful? This post seems kinda pointless.

how about the fact that 05.Sep.2006 00:33

arbeit macht frei

school is freaking evil and we can no more fix or reform it than we can reform slavery. the inventors of compulsory schooling created it to manufacture wage slaves. end of story. take back the responsibility to educate your/our children. refuse to entrust them to the "care" of overworked government agents, however well-intentioned. bells, enforced classroom confinement, and training to ask a master's permission when you have to take a dump do no more than enforce the global pandemic of wage-slavery.
