We wanted to give an update on Darren's whereabouts and his continuing campaign for support, as we have received a few letters in the last week asking where they can send him support letters and books.
Darren is on his way back to Inverness Jail and currently being held at the MCDC/Justice Center in Portland. He can be reached there at:

Once he is transferred to Inverness, his mail will be forwarded, so don't worry about mail getting lost in the shuffle. Darren also asks that you don't put stickers on the envelopes or letters or otherwise glue things to them as they will be rejected.
For those who want to send Darren books, please see the list of books he would like to receive at at  link to freedarren.org and let us know which book you are going to send so we can take it off the list and also so we can ensure he isn't receiving too many books at one time (since there are limits to how much property he can have). He would really appreciate reading material right now since he has been without since his transfer to Lane County.
He also asked us to tell you that because his property has been removed from him twice now, he has lost many of the letters and addresses he meant to respond to. If you haven't heard back from him, please write him another letter to ensure he has your current address. Also, if you have had mail returned to sender, he asks that you please send it again even if it's old - he really wants to get all the mail intended for him.
This last couple of weeks have been an incredibly trying time for Darren, his friends and his family - and we ask that you take the time out this weekend to pen him a note of support. Last night in a phone conversation, he asked that we make a request of the community to show some compassion and understanding right now until the whole facts of his case can be made public, as there is a lot of false and erroneous information circulating about him and others since the hearings last week. Once the legal proceedings are finished, Darren and others will be in a much better position to talk about their cases and their decisions to plead guilty.
