BYU Physics Prof Finds Thermate in WTC Physical Samples, Building Collapses an Inside Job

Based on chemical analysis of WTC structural steel residue, a Brigham Young University physics professor has identified the material as Thermate. Thermate is the controlled demolition explosive thermite plus sulfur. Sulfur causes the thermite to burn hotter, cutting steel quickly and leaving trails of yellow colored residue.
Prof. Steven Jones, who conducted his PhD research at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center and post-doctoral research at Cornell University and the Los Alamos Meson Physics Facility, has analyised materials from the WTC and has detected the existence of thermate, used for "cutting" the steel support columns...........
Dr. Jones is a co-founder of Scholars for 911 Truth.
Dr. Jones in earlier work pointed to thermate as the likely explosive that brought down the WTC1, WTC2, and WTC7 skyscrapers. But only recently was physical material analysed in the lab and the presense of thermate announced. The samples were provided Dr. Jones' team from redundant sourses.
Both BYU and Prof. Jones have been offered additional grants if he would "change the direction" of his research. In addition, there have been threats made by an individual who "is taking action" to stop Steven Jones' research, specifically his experiment with thermites (aluminothermics), on the grounds his work may be helpful to "terrorists". Jones notes that much more detailed information on both thermite and thermate is readily available on the internet.

Very interesting, given that it was Goldman Sachs that did the financing for the 9-11 Silverstein deal of the WTCs. Later Goldman Sachs bought up "the other 110 story building" in the U.S., the Chicago Sears Tower, quietly and quickly in 2003..
- Goldman Sachs are also involved in the gold price fraud issues in the commodity markets (holding it down "artificially" for political purposes), reportedly.
- The guy who sold Silverstein the WTCs was...previously of Goldman Sachs as well. This was an Eisenberg, placed on the Port Authority from 1995.
- Other Eisenbergs are Bilderbergers. AIG was created for and is currently a front which provides cover for intelligence community illicit operations. As said above, in 2001, AIG owned a Risk Management firm called Kroll Associates as well, that it gave to its partner in crime Marsh and McLellan now, and then it bought up the hard drive investigator corporation Convar--which would have implicated Marsh and McLellan and AIG hard drives in money laundering most assuredly for 9-11.
Marsh and McLellan's Kroll played a major role in the events of September 11th, and continues to this day to enable events like the 7-7 and 7-21 bombings in the London Tube system... they then go on TV and provide "expert" counterterrorism testimony to the goldfish at home tuned into FoxNews and the like.
While Kroll provided the necessary operational capability, in part, for what was perpetrated; AIG and Marsh were focused on participating in both short and long-term money schemes. Kroll's Jerome Hauer (a long time personal friend of ex-FBI Counterterrorism & Osama bin Laden expert John O'Neill) hired O'Neill as head of security for the WTC.
Kroll had also managed the bunker in WTC 7 for Guiliani, and Kroll's board of directors shared one peculiar member in common with AIG; that being Frank G. Wisner Jr., son of OSS co-Founder Frank Wisner. I won't go into the history of the OSS, Reinhard Gehlen, or the Council on Foreign Relations / Dulles affiliation with its creation, but I can recommend an excellent book, wherein its relevance is comprehensively documented; the title you're looking for is: The Old Boys: The American Elite and the Origins of the CIA by Burton Hersh (and printed in 1992).
Given the long and distinguished list of residents of the buildings which allegedly fell from fire that day, and the fact that many suspicious trades took place on 9-11 amidst the destruction of Enron Evidence, and the offices of the Secret Service, IRS, CIA, and Guiliani's Office of Emergency Management bunker on the 23rd floor of WTC 7- just to name a few-, the question here to be asked is Qui Bono?
Hundreds of billions in fraudulent transactions took place just prior to the buildings being pulled down on 9-11- not including what I mentioned about Marsh and AIG previously- these transactions which capitalized on the destruction of fellow human beings were also in part facilitated by Marsh & McLennan. I know this because they were captured on hard-drives found in the rubble at Ground Zero... a German Company called Convar recovered the information on these drives.
- Kroll quickly buys up Convar to destroy and hold onto the hard drive evidence of its owner AIG's complicity in the AIG-Marsh&Mclellan money laundering in 9-11. Google "Convar + Kroll", and you'll see that Kroll coincidently purchased Convar in June of 2002... to ensure that the evidence never reaches the Public Mind, or to you. That was when it was still owned by AIG.
Now, on July 8, 2004, Kroll Associates was sold to Marsh and McLennan. I would mention at this point that Kroll Associates also provides protection, I mean, Kidnap and Ransom coverage for major corporations and their executives- and employs ex-and-current Intelligence Operatives, as well as ex-Scotland Yard, and freelance mercenaries. In 2000, LGC Wireless, a San Jose, California-based firm was considered in the lead to provide wireless connectivity for the U.S. House of Representatives. A year earlier, the House Administration Committee, then headed by Republican Representative Bill Thomas of California, granted LGC authority to conduct a design and securityn survey of the Capitol. In addition, the FBI and NSA reviewed LGC's system design to ensure that foreign intelligence agencies could not penetrate the House's wireless network. By December 2000, LGC had cleared its plans with the Capitol Architect, the House Information Resource Office, and the House Administration Committee.
However, soon a new Israeli company named Foxcom Wireless, which changed its name to MobileAccess, began making an end run to secure the Capitol wireless contract. The new chairman of the House Administration Committee, Republican Representative Bob Ney of Ohio (who is implicated in Ohio vote fraud), clearly favored MobileAccess over LGC and in 2002, the Israeli company received the House wireless contract. Ney had a close poltical and financial relationship with GOP lobbyist Jack Abramoff, an extreme pro-Israeli (and pro-Al-Queda) political insider, who came under Justice Department investigation for questionable ties to Ney and House Majority Leader Tom DeLay. It was later revealed by The Washington Post that in 2001 MobileAccess donated $50,000 to the Capital Athletic Foundation, which was run by Abramoff. The FBI has arrested seven people in the US city of Miami suspected of planning to blow up Chicago's Sears Tower and other targets, officials say.
The arrests were made in the poor Liberty City area of north Miami, officials said. However no weaponry or bomb-making equipment was found.
The seven, mainly Americans, had no apparent links to international terror.
Reports suggested a US agent may have infiltrated the group by posing as a member of al-Qaeda.
"In the past couple of days, the US government has taken into custody seven people who were conspiring to conduct jihad [holy war] in the United States," one official told the Reuters news agency.
"They thought they were dealing with al-Qaeda," he said, adding that they hoped to buy weapons.
Unconfirmed media reports said that five of those detained were US citizens, and the other two were foreigners, including one Haitian.
'Brainwashed'
Neighbours in the Liberty City area spoke cautiously of the men, who were described as Muslims and apparently slept in a warehouse where they were arrested.
One told the Associated Press that the men ran a "military boot camp" from the building.
"They would come out late at night and exercise. It seemed like a military boot camp they were working on there. They would come out and stand guard," said Tashawn Rose.
"They seemed brainwashed. They said they had given their lives to Allah," she added.
The Miami Herald newspaper's City Editor, Mani Garcia, who has been working on the story, said there did not appear to be a direct connection between the suspects and al-Qaeda.
"They have been described to us... as wannabees or sympathisers," he told the BBC World Service.
Targets
As well as the 435-metre (1,450-foot) Sears Tower, the tallest building in the US, the group were planning to target a federal building in Miami, and some FBI buildings, officials said.
But the seven were not posing any immediate danger, according to the FBI.
"There is no imminent threat to Miami or any other area," said FBI spokesman Richard Kolko.
There were a large number of law enforcement officials involved in the operation, one local businessman told AP.
"There is a ton of guys in uniforms moving around, blocking the streets," said Cedric Thomas.
US Attorney General Alberto Gonzales is due to give more details of the raids at a news conference later on Friday.

September 11, 2001, 10:02 a.m.: As the WTC2 suffers a thermate controlled demolition in NYC, and right as the fourth plane substitue is finally shot down over Pennsylvania, the missed hit of the Sears Tower in Chicago begins evacuation. Other prominent tall buildings and landmarks begin evacuating about an hour later. [Ottawa Citizen, 9/11/01]
If the Sears Tower only is evacuated at 10:02 a.m., that means that while a plane was headed for it in a beeline for a LONG while, and evacuated only after the substitute for UAL93 is turned away toward DC. Thus the Sears Tower was left unevacuated for all this while.
It is only evacuated AFTER the fourth plane (empty radio controlled drone) is shot down in Pennsylvania--which has nothing to do with the hole in the field in Somerset County, by the way, since the coronoer said "no bodies" there, "I'm leaving"...

They are arrested for illegal dumping, using a van with the name...[ta da! same as New York City]...Moving Systems Incorporated. [More white vans and Mossad.] The[ir] video contains extensive zoom in shots of the Sears Tower; it is not known when the video was filmed. [Philadelphia Mercury, 10/18/01] Given the moving van cover (see September 11, 2001 (W) and [DEA report, 6/01]), and the Jewish names, it is likely these three are part of the Israeli spy ring.
The odd thing is that they were arrested in Pennsylvania.
On October 17, 2001, three Israelis driving a truck were discovered by Plymouth, Pennsylvania police with possession of a close-up videotape of the Sears Tower in Chicago. Plymouth Police Chief David McCann reviewed the tape and then found the Sony camera inside the truck. The police had responded to a call that the Israelis were illegally dumping furniture [i.e,. getting rid of their cover legend] into a dumpster behind a Pizzeria Uno restaurant from a tractor-trailer truck registered in Florida. When the restaurant manager confronted the Israeli driver he drove off quickly from the scene. The leader of the team who drove the truck sporting the sign "Moving Systems Incorporated" was Moshe Elmakias. Two other Israelis,

It would be interesting to note if their Chicago moving van with the Sears Tower video, like the New York version that had the videographers, had explosives traces that the FBI hid as well.
Could they have been videotaping the Sears Tower on 9/11 in the expectation that it would be hit by a plane? Had Flight 93 not been delayed 40 minutes on the runway and stayed on course its substitution would have been forty minutes ahead of schedule for the way it went down in reality, this would have placed the fourth drone by then around 9:20 at Chicago, even before the Pentagon hit. Thus the Chicago hit would have been at the same time as the other attacks. Later, decisions seem to have been made to reverse the goal of the fourth drone strike, and it does a 180 degree turn towards Washington DC, despite this being 20 minutes after the FAA informed the military that the plane had been hijacked, and still nothing happens. Someone even radios in asking permission for this fourth drone (as UAL93) to to go DC! Their not in the fourth drone that's for sure, according to the Somerset county coroner, who said there were no bodies in the crash in that field in Pennsylvania.

NEW YORK -- Those who have bothered to read the 9/11 skeptics know about the extraordinary "coincidences" that took place that fateful morning. One of them happens to be the lack of routine video surveillance tapes of ANY of the passengers alleged to have boarded the ill-fated flights at Boston's Logan, Newark's Liberty and Washington's Dulles international airports.
The 9/11 Commission simply ignored this issue even though it can be fairly said that not only did the 9/11 attacks on New York and Washington originate at these airport gates, but so did the resulting invasions and occupations of Afghanistan and Iraq.
Why haven't we seen these video tapes? Why has the Fourth Estate failed to ask, Why haven't we seen these video tapes? Why the conspiracy of silence?
Well, the answer may very well lie in Holland. You see, security at some if not all of these airport gates of 9/11 was in the hands of an American minimum-wage subsidiary of a Dutch corporation called ICTS-International. What is most remarkable about this arrangement is that the Dutch corporation ICTS-International was, as of 9/11, Dutch in name only. An early 2003 check of its web-site showed a Board of Directors consisting entirely of nationals of the Zionist state with the single exception of the Comptroller, who apparently was the nominal Dutchman. And if I need to clue in the clueless, the Zionists were hellbent on finding a reason for the USA to invade Iraq. And it would be fair to say that these Zionists of ICTS-International were the gatekeepers of 9/11 and all that followed, such as the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan. Interesting, eh?
But the story gets even wilder. Not long after 9/11, the chairman of ICTS, Ezra Harel, whose surname is famous in the annals of the Mossad, died suddenly of a heart attack in his early 50s on his yacht off the coast of Palestine. Talk about not being available for comment!
But that's not the kicker. Hours before the House version of the first Patriot Act went to a vote, "technical corrections" were inserted into the body of the legislation whereby foreign security companies such as ICTS-International would be immune from lawsuits related to the events of 9/11. Talk about not being available for deposition! This "Patriot" act legislative sleight of hand occurred before the inception of the 9/11 Commission when Fearless Leader George W. Bush was still resisting the very IDEA of an investigation into 9/11. Hence, in the face of an institutional cover-up, citizens were denied the possibility of a discovery process which is normally afforded to litigants. Without such discovery process, ICTS-International would never be compelled by a court of law to give testimony and show evidence related to the missing airport video surveillance tapes of 9/11 or any other aspect of security measures in place on 9/11.
The legal situation has since changed and ICTS-International is now a co-defendant in a lawsuit in Federal District Court for the Southern District of New York. (see http://www.sept11tortlitigation.com) More about this will follow.
And so, we are supposed to believe that even as multiple NORAD drills were underway, video surveillance tapes from multiple cameras at multiple locations in three different "Category X" high security international airports just happened to fail to capture images of ANY of the passengers - the good, the bad and the ugly - about to board the ill-fated flights of 9/11! As many 9/11 skeptics already know, what I have just described here is just one aspect of the BIG LIE about 9/11. Some of the answers to our national security problem will be found in Holland. That is for sure!
But there are those who will insist that they have seen on television video surveillance tapes of the hijackers of 9/11 and are satisfied with the official explanation of what happened on that fateful day.
However, these people are confused by the tape repeatedly shown on TV of two of the alleged hijackers (Mohammad Atta being one of them) passing through a security checkpoint at Portland Maine International Airport to take a connecting flight to Boston on the morning of 11 September 2001.
This Portland tape has no timestamp, which makes it suspect. Also, even IF the tape were genuine, it does not place either of the two young Arabs at Logan International Airport.
Nearly all Americans were lulled into believing that the Portland, Maine tape was sufficient proof when it was not. People were mesmerized by the repeated showing of this tape on TV and in their emotional state did not realize exactly what they were looking at and what they weren't looking at.
Also, yet another tape was shown in the 24 hour interval leading to the official release of the 9/11 Commission Report; however, this tape, released to the news media by the South Carolina law firm Motley Rice LLC, was almost immediately withdrawn because it quickly became apparent that it was bogus. This Motley Rice surveillance tape purportedly showed two young Arabs boarding flight 77 at Dulles International Airport on the morning of 9/11. But again, just like the Portland Maine tape, there is no timestamp, which makes it suspect. Beyond that, as pointed out by the late, great Internet researcher/writer Joe Vialls, who some believe is really Ari Ben-Menashe (see www.judicial-inc.biz), the shadows appearing just outside the terminal door are those you would expect to see at midday rather than in the early morning. Moreover, the surveillance camera is no ordinary surveillance camera; for the tape reveals a panning camera focused on the two young Arabs and then zooming in on them and then moving left as they move left instead of following the pretty blonde lady who was going to the right. Clearly, some person unknown at some time unknown was filming these young Arab men for a specific but unknown reason.
This Motley Rice film was never shown again because of the critical eyes of researchers, many of whom preserved copies of the mysterious tape in their computers.
In consideration of the foregoing, one must conclude that no tape has EVER been shown that reveals ANY of the passengers boarding the 9/11 flights out of Boston's Logan, Newark's Liberty and Washington's Dulles international airports.
One must also ask, if the 9/11 surveillance tapes at these airports do in fact exist, why haven't we seen them? And if they do not even exist, how can this be explained?

Instead, after the all stop 'interference,' and tarmac delays, the UAL93 lands at Cleveland like it was probabaly planned to do anyway, and the substitute (that was getting pretty close to Chicago, though was running late) was aborted from that path, and turns toward DC. Someone even attempted to provide cover for the extra 500 mile detour claiming that "landing immediately" meant asking for a DC flight plan when it was past Cleveland. When that was rejected as silly, the UAL93 substitute turned towards Washington anyway. This was 20 minutes after the FAA informed the military that the plane had been hijacked, and still nothing was done. Cheney and Bush agree to shoot down the fourth substitute (and ONLY the fourth substitute, while they had been monitoring all the other ones to their successful destinations instead), according to Bush slip up statements.

Earlier today, BuzzFlash suggested that the Bush Administration's claim of foiling an attempt to destroy the Sears Tower was propaganda exaggerated to distract and mislead us. While we have not denied there were indeed rumors and boasts of committing acts of terror, a careful examination of the facts makes it clear that the Miami group was not as serious a threat as portrayed in the media. They had no operational ability beyond their mouths.
Here is what we found buried in the middle of some reports:
No terrorist connections:
* Group "never met Bin Laden or had any contact with the terror kingpin's henchmen... In fact, they had no connection to any known terrorist organization." (NY Daily News)
No actual terrorist actions:

The Sears Tower is the tallest building in North America and is known for its structural integrity. It is actually comprised of nine separate steel columns of different heights. While 9-11 showed what determined, well-supplied [state] terrorists can do, a single wannabe amateur and a few bodyguards without any connections pose little threat, as the Chicago Police noted above.
Again, BuzzFlash is supportive of the FBI for arresting the group. We just don't think it is as important as Bush seems to want us to. The timing of the raid, given that there was no immediate operational threat, appears politically motivated. The Bush Administration wanted to scare Americans and tie the Iraq War to terror after a Senate debate on redeployment that very morning.
Bush has said for years that the point of going to Iraq was to draw out terrorists there to prevent them from coming here. If anything, the most newsworthy aspect of this story is that the suspects were largely American citizens, operating within our borders, and not even Arab, which means that our focus on War in Iraq does not address threats that could be more immediate.

Today, lawyers for the defendants outlined an argument that the government had used entrapment to essentially imagine into existence a deadly Al-Qaeda terror cell that had never existed in the first place.

In a document called "Rebuilding America's Defenses" published by The American Enterprise's "Project for a New American Century"(1), SPC International executive, Dov Zakheim, called for a 'Pearl Harbor' type of incident being necessary to foster the frame of mind needed for the American public to support a war in the Middle East that would politically and culturally reshape the region. A respected and established voice in the intelligence community, his views were eagerly accepted, and Dov went from his position at Systems Planning Corporation to become the Comptroller of the Pentagon in May 2001. (2) Tridata, a subsidiary of Systems Planning Corporation, was in charge of the investigation after the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in 1993.

Systems Planning Corporation, according to their official website, specializes in many areas of defense technology production and manufacture, including a system developed by their Radar Physics Group called the FLIGHT TERMINATION SYSTEM, or FTS.(3) This is a system used to destroy target drones (craft that would be fired on by test aircraft or weaponry) in the event of malfunction or "misses". This highly sophisticated war-game technology allows the control of several 'drones' from a remote location, on varying frequencies, and has a range of several hundred miles. This technology can be used on many different types of aircraft, including large passenger jets.

After considering this information, I am convinced that flight 175, as pictured on the news media and official reports, was in fact a refitted Boeing 767 tanker, with a Flight Termination System attached. Use of this system would also explain the expert handling of aircraft observed in both New York and Washington investigations, which has been officially credited to inexperienced flight school students.

As an investigative reporter working for American Free Press, I have spent many hours digging into the criminal network behind the 9/11 terror attacks. What I have found leads me to believe that Israelis are behind these "false flag" attacks on the United States.
Today, I participated in a round table discussion on the RBN radio network with Eric Shine and others, including Michael Collins Piper and the "Israeli" journalist Barry Chamish. I put "Israeli" in quotations because Mr. Chamish is actually and originally a Canadian citizen.
Finally, I had to ask Mr. Chamish about his position on the role of Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu in the "war on terror" and the abundance of evidence that Israel was involved in the terror attacks of 9/11. Chamish said that Netanyahu is basically an agent of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) and added that he was not personally convinced that the criminal Zionist gang was behind the terror of 9/11.
I followed that response with a question about the relationship between Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Menachem Atzmon, the man who oversaw passenger screening and airport security at Boston's Logan Airport on 9/11, as owner of ICTS, the parent company of Huntleigh USA.
Mr. Chamish seemed quite surprised that I knew of this relationship and said that if, indeed, Atzmon was responsible for security at Boston's airport on 9/11, then it was worthy of being followed up, because Olmert and Atzmon are truly very close political allies and co-defendants in old Likud crimes:

The first two months of Ehud Olmert's term as Israel's prime minister have been described as "the bloodiest, deadliest and the most criminal period of the 58-year-old state of Israel." Although the controlled press overlooks the new Israeli leader's crimes, Olmert's ties to the convicted Israeli criminal who controlled airport security at Boston airport on 9/11 cannot be ignored.
Although Zionism is probably the most potent force influencing U.S. politics, it is safe to say that it remains a political philosophy woefully misunderstood by the majority of the U.S. population. Although President George W. Bush and his war cabinet are clearly Zionists advancing the Zionist agenda, an agenda which is promoted and supported by nearly every member of Congress, Zionism and its bloody history are subjects which most Americans know virtually nothing about.
While American universities offer courses and degrees in practically every subject imaginable, a college curriculum offering a critical examination of Zionism and its history is not to be found.
This public's general ignorance of Zionism, its goals and history, is compounded by the controlled media, which grossly distorts and misinterprets Zionism to make this most un-American philosophy appear to be something familiar and benevolent to Americans. The well-documented bloody history of Zionist terror and ethnic cleansing, something which is well known to all Israelis and Palestinians, is strange and unknown terra incognita to most Americans, primarily due to academic and media censorship.
After the terror attacks of 9/11, which a large body of evidence indicates involved Israeli intelligence agents, and with more than 150,000 Americans engaged in costly and disastrous wars in the Middle East, it is simply no longer sustainable for Americans to remain blissfully ignorant of political Zionism.
ZIONISM AND COMMUNISM
Zionism, as a political movement, developed with Communism in the late 1800s among the Jewish communities in the western regions of the Russian Empire. In Lithuania, Poland, Byelorussia, and Ukraine, particularly in areas with large Jewish populations, Zionism became a new national religion. From the beginning, the Communist and Zionist movements were closely intertwined.
In the late 1800s, the religious-political ideology of Zionism led Jews in search of a national identity to shun the local language and begin speaking and writing Hebrew, a language which had not been spoken for thousands of years. In the Soviet Union, Jews were considered a national group and Jewish nationality was marked as such in Soviet passports. A Jewish Autonomous Region was even established in the Soviet Union in the area of Birobidjan in 1934 with Yiddish as the official language.
Although the Russian and Eastern European Jews known as the Ashkenazi are not even Semites, but Slavic and Asiatic converts to Judaism, Zionist zeal led them to misidentify themselves as "Hebrew," when for example, they entered the United States at Ellis Island.
As Zionists had "reconstituted" the "Hebrew" language, the primary political objective of political Zionism has always been the formation of a purely Jewish state in Palestine, something which has never actually existed in history. The fact that 20th Century Palestine was already inhabited by Palestinians, many of whom are real Semites, descended from the original Jews, Arabs, Greeks, and other races of the Holy Land, was something the Zionists intended to use military force to correct.
The armed conquest and ethnic cleansing of Palestine was vigorously promoted in the 1930s by Ze'ev (Vladimir) Jabotinsky, one of the most militant of Zionists. Jabotinsky, born in Odessa in 1880, became commander of the Zionist militia known as the Irgun in 1937. Jabotinsky headed the New Zionist Organization (N.Z.O), the Betar youth movement, and the Irgun militia, three extensions of the same extremist movement.
The Jabotinsky ideology maintains that the Jewish people have exclusive rights to all the Land of Israel, which it claims extends from the Nile of Egypt to the Euphrates River in Iraq.

The barrier wall that has been built across the West Bank is an idea straight from the writings of Jabotinsky: "Zionist colonization, even the most restricted, must either be terminated or carried out in defiance of the will of the native population. This colonization can, therefore, continue and develop only under the protection of a force independent of the local population - an iron wall which the native population cannot break through," Jabotinsky wrote in his 1923 book, The Iron Wall: We and the Arabs.
"Talking peace and drumming up support for his realignment plan of settlement, Ehud Olmert's 8 weeks in power proved to be the bloodiest, deadliest and the most criminal period of the 58-year-old state of Israel," Duraid Al Baik, foreign editor of Gulf News wrote in a recent article, "Olmert: The criminal who peddles peace."

The most egregious terrorist act, among the many recently committed by Israeli forces, was the shelling of the beach in Gaza in which 8 members of one family were killed. Mark Garlasco, a military expert working for the US-based Human Rights Watch group, was the first independent investigator to reach the scene of the crime and found shrapnel from a 155 mm artillery shell. "My assessment [is] that it's likely that this was incoming artillery fire that landed on the beach and was fired by the Israelis from the north of Gaza," Garlasco said.

An indispensable component of the mythical media profile which George Bush has built up over the years to buttress his electoral aspirations has been his role as an anti-drug fighter. His first formally scheduled prime time presidential television address to the nation in September, 1989 was devoted to announcing his plans for measures to combat the illegal narcotics that continued to inundate the sreets of the United States. During his 1988 election campaign, Bush pointed with astounding complacency to his record as President Reagan's designated point man in the administration's war on drugs.

Indeed, Bush has an impressive resume of bureaucratic titles to back up his claim to be America's top anti-drug fighter. On January 28, 1982, Reagan created the South Florida Task Force under [curiously a Vice President] Bush's high-profile leadership to coordinate the efforts of the various federal agencies to stem the tide of narcotics into Bush's old family bailiwick.
On March 23, 1983, Bush was placed in charge of the National Narcotics Border Interdiction System, which was supposed to staunch the drug flow over all US borders.
In August, 1986 US officials presented to their Mexican counterparts a scheme called Operation Alliance, a new border enforcement initiative that was allegedly to do for the US-Mexican border area what the South Florida Task Force had allegedly already done for the southeastern states.
George Bush was appointed chief of Operation Alliance, which involved 20 federal agencies, 500 additional federal officers, and a budget of $266 million.
Meanwhile, Bush has connections to Jewish organized crime and drug dealing.
To crown all these efforts, Bush sought to obtain a cameo role for a brief appearance on the television series Miami Vice. He was perhaps inspired by his mentor, Kissinger, who had walked through a cameo of his own on Dynasty. But Bush was unable to accomplish his dream.
The drug plague is an area in which the national interest requires results. Illegal narcotics are one of the most important causes of the dissolution of American society at the present time. To interdict the drug flows and to prosecute the drug money launderers at the top of the banking community would have represented a real public service. But Bush had no intention of seriously pursuing such goals.
For him, the war on drugs was a cruel hoax, a cynical exercise in demagogic self-promotion, designed in large part to camouflage activities by himself and his networks that promoted drug trafficking.
A further shocking episode that has come to light in this regard involves ***Bush's 14-year friendship with a member of Meyer Lansky's Miami circles who sold Bush his prized trophy, the Cigarette boat Fidelity.***
Bush's war on drugs was a rhetorical and public relations success for a time. On February 16, 1982, in a speech on his own turf in Miami, Florida, Bush promised to use sophisticated military aircraft to track the airplanes used by smugglers. Several days later, Bush ordered the US Navy to send in its E2C surveillance aircraft for this purpose. If these were not available in sufficient numbers, said Bush, he was determined to bring in the larger and more sophisticated AWACS early warning aircraft to do the job. But Bush's skills as an interagency expediter left something to be desired: by May, two of the four E2C aircraft that originally had been in Florida were transferred out of the state. By June, airborne surveillance time was running a mere 40 hours per month, not the 360 hours promised by Bush, prompting Rep. Glenn English to call hearings on this topic. By October, 1982 the General Accounting Office issued an opinion in which it found "it is doubtful whether the [south Florida] task force can have any substantial long-term impact on drug availability." But the headlines were grabbed by Bush, who stated in 1984 that the efforts of his task force had eliminated the marijuana trade in south Florida. That was an absurd claim, but it sounded very good.
When Francis Mullen. Jr., the administrator of the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) criticized Bush for making this wildly inaccurate statement, he was soon ousted from his post at the DEA.
In 1988, Democratic Congressman Glenn English concluded that Bush's "war on drugs" had been fought with "little more than lip service and press releases." English wrote: "There has been very little substance behind the rhetoric, and some of the major interdiction problems have yet to be resolved. The President [Reagan] assigned...Bush to coordinate and direct federal antidrug-abuse programs among the various law enforcement agencies. However, eight years later it is apparent that the task has not been accomplished." [fn 1] No observer still stationed in reality could dispute this very pessimistic assessment.
But the whole truth is much uglier. We have documented in detail how the Iran-contra drug-running and gun-running operations [that was simultaneous to his federal "anti-drug" formal positions, to sit on investigations...] run out of Bush's own office played their role in increasing the heroin, crack, cocain, and marijuana brought into this country. We have reviewed Bush's relations with his close supporters in the Wall Street LBO gang, much of whose liquidity is derived from narcotics payments which the banking system is eager to recycle and launder.
We recall Bush's 1990 meeting with Syrian President Hafez Assad, who is personally one of the most prolific drug pushers on the planet, and whom Bush embraced as an ally during the Gulf crisis.
Bush's "soft on drugs" profile went further.
In the Pakistan-Afghanistan theatre, for example, it was apparent that certain pro-Khomeini formations among the Afghan guerillas were, like the contras, more interested in trafficking in drugs and guns than in fighting the Soviet-backed regime in Kabul and the Red Army forces that maintained it in power. There were reports that such activities on the part of such guerilla groups were seconded by parts of the Pakistani secret intelligence services, the Inter-Service Intelligence, and the National Logistics Cell. According to these reports, Bush's visit to Pakistan's President Gen. Zia ul-Haq in May, 1984 was conducted in full awareness of these phenomnena. Nevertheless, Bush chose to praise the alleged successes of the Zia government's anti-narcotics program which, Bush intoned, was a matter of great "personal interest" to him.
Among those present at the banquet where Bush made these remarks were, reportedly, several of the officials most responsible for the narcotics trafficking in Pakistan. [fn 2]
But there is an even more flagrant aspect of Bush's conduct which can be said to demolish once and for all the myth of the "war on drugs" and replace it with a reality so sinister that it goes beyond the imagination of most citizens.
Those who follow Bush's frenetic sports activities on television are doubtless familiar with Bush's speedboat, in which he is accustomed to cavort in the waters off his estate at Walker's Point in Kennebunkport, Maine. [fn 3] The craft in question is the Fidelity, a powerboat capable of operating on the high seas. Fidelity is a class of boat marketed under the brand name of "Cigarette," a high-priced speedboat dubbed "the Ferrari of the high seas." This detail should awaken our interest, since Bush's profile as an Anglo-Saxon aristocrat would normally include a genteel predeliction for sailing, rather than a preference for a vulgar hotrod like Fidelity, which evokes the ethos of rum-runners and smugglers.

The CIA strongly disagreed, calling Rumsfeld's position of 1976 a "complete fiction" and pointing out that the Soviet Union was disintegrating from within, could barely afford to feed their own people, and would collapse within a decade or two if simply left alone. But, trillions of dollars and years later, it was proven that they had been wrong all along, and the CIA had been right. Rumsfeld, Cheney, and Wolfowitz lied to America in the 1970s about Soviet WMDs.
