Want To Make PDX IMC Your Home Page?

Read and write real news everyday! This makes it so that the first website that pops up on your computer screen when you get on the internet is Portland Indymedia.
Here's how:
PC Instructions (maybe someone can post for Mac and/or Linux)

Mozilla Firefox:
Click on "Tools" up in your top left tool bar.
Then click "options".
Look under "home page" and change your home page to  http://portland.indymedia.org/
Then click "ok" to save.

Internet Explorer:
Click on "tools" up in your top left tool bar.
Then click "internet options".
Look under "home page" and change your home page to  http://portland.indymedia.org/
Then click ok to save.
Linux Info 22.May.2006 12:07

TS

I'm running Ubuntu Linux with Firefox 5.0

1.Click "Edit" in the tool bar
2.Select "Preferences"
3.Select the "General" tab
4.In the "Home Page" area next to "Location(s)" enter " http://portland.indymedia.org"
5.Select "Close"

This should work on all Linux distros running Firefox 5.0
I believe you will have to change the home page for each user individually.

I was bored so I created a pdx imc engine for Firefox. If installed it will add a pdx imc search box to the Firefox tool bar.

To install just go here and follow the instructions.

Enjoy : )
