No Internet? No Porn? Good then maybe people will want revolution

Is porn obstructing our Revolution?
Though the internet has brought us a revolution in communications and access to information and disinformation alike. After years of waiting for "the Revolution" to finally get rid of the ruling elite and corporate psychpaths I have finally concluded that the internet with all its porn and other distractions might be our new opiate of the masses. I would bet if you yank this monkey off the backs on all the porn addicts which is probably 60 to 90% of the population that uses the internet then we will see rebellion. So yank the sucker (I mean the internet you pervs). Sure there will be those saying 'this is another violation of our basic freedoms' or 'this is just more corporatization of the public commons'. I say 'Yeah it is. So? I do not see people up in arms over the fact that he airwaves were public domain or the sky is a basic commons polluted by planes and sattlites. But yank a porn addict's porn. Then you will have Revolution.' So I say kill the internet! Do it I dare you! Of course if the fascists wanted to crush any Revolution then instead they would gives us even more porn and faster downloads with more wide-bands so we can all get our jollies off some stupid celeberty doing some 'amateur' porn. If that is the case then "The Revolution will be pornographized"

humpbacked monkey

There's something amazing about how the collective consciousness works. As I was spanking my monkey last night with internet porn of course, I was definately influenced by this idea in a very conscious way. My thoughts drifted to the control that the NSA has over the internet and then figured the government is probably encouraging it (in fact possibly tailoring sites to waste more time according to the wanker's interests and fetishes. I mean, there's tons of it and it's all free. It'd be interesting to pair this "conspiracy theory" with the current debate about network neutrality and broadband ownership.
But in the end, this post is right on. We're sacrificing or ignoring important human connections that need to be made between people - this is rejuvenation for the soul but it's stifled every time with get off with our machines and the cold images of fucking.
I'm of the opinion that revolution can take place through public acts of love. If we're going to shut down the purely sexual urge in porn addicts, let's make sure to provide a public atmosphere that's more supportive of human on human interactions.
In fact this "talking about it" is the best rememdy for most anti-social disorders or addictions. Is it wrong to talk about how the booty looks so fine? Could it be seen as sexual harrasment? It's a fine line I'm sure, but that might be part of the cause, where sexual desire is high but social "norms" discourage taboo discussion or "forward" proposals. Perhaps the rise of internet porn is a release mechanism for sexual expression that is still very much repressed, yet aroused publicly by the neocons.
Of course, this works quite well in the framework of selfish atomized individuals - divided we are conquered - my participation in sex is very personal, but perhaps unnecessarily so - do I wish we could all just tell each other why and how (or if) we'd like to bone each other? Maybe. It'd certainly make for more interesing water cooler discussion.
And so I'm looking for acknowledgment for useful therapies to curb the addiction, cause quitting cold-turkey on such a larger-scale yet more intimate problem, might not be the best course of action.
This is a great discussion topic - I hope others will contribute.

haah

yeah, I'm not watching it much anymore.

I had a great girl. But we didn't hit it like coke fueled pornstars do-
and that may have left me wanting. Sex became boring, and I had always wanted a wild sex life. But there is no way to outsex the internet.

there were all kinds of disconnects.

Internet porn is relativly new. 98? 96?

It will be a shame if we lose internet because of people opposing sex.

but it's sex that gets somewhat confusing. Internet is not to blame.

our culture promotes titilation and says nothing for orgasm. always more stimulation, with no love for female ejaculation :)

BUT. we NEED our blogs for the REVOLUTION!

not erotic-psychotic 20.May.2006 11:38

alien plot?

web porn is not erotic. Just read all the accompanying text! "Cum-eating whores" "Sluts who love to be beaten!". It's obvious that web porn is nothing more than a massive attempt to portray human beings, especially women, as nothing but slaves to their genitals. If watching a cute girl blow dogs gets you off, I suggest you take a long walk through the desert for a couple of weeks and figure out what's wrong. Look at the 'categories' they have going on these sites. Shit-eating, piss drinking, and worse are so prevalent you'd think that these are everyday common practices, instead of sickening perversions portrayed by desperate crackheads and psychos for a few bucks. (Read Kinsey if you doubt me) An entire generation is growing up with this garbage, believing it is the human norm. So who REALLY puts out this crap and why? How about the BLACKMAIL potential here? If your phonecalls are tracked by the NSA, your surfing can be easily accessed too. Todays 20 year old webturbator could easily be tommorrow's blackmail victim. Porn built the internet. It's the biggest reason people buy computers and go online, although few will admit it. AOL, Microsoft, Google, and all the other enablers of webporn and childporn are all part of the cabal that enables the dissemination (no pun intended) of such twisted shit. I guess America is too jaded to get hard over a Playmate these days. Now they need horsiesex and gangbang sites (talk about rapist imagery!). In the long run, webporn will just make you feel ugly about people in general. You are what you fantasize about-you create your own ideals subconsciously- the subconscious is extremely motivated by the visual- all imagery (especially sexual) has a vital, critical effect on our inner being. This continued mass perpetration of sexist propaganda is the ultimate diversion allowed by the government to keep us all pre-occupied with our crotch instead of our National Destiny.

ya? 22.May.2006 04:48

who

Yes, turn the porn off!!! Then the nut balls would have no outlet and wonder the streets looking for whatever thrill they used to get. Lock up your horses and dogs, the sickos are coming.
