When I was about 10 years old, my father had a heart attack that nearly
ended his life. It was one of the most stressful situations of my life.
On that day, he was moving bags of industrial fertilizer. He sat one down
and a big puff of chemicals came up in his face. He continued working
and after about an hour started feeling bad. A co-worker took him to the
hospital and while he was waiting for to be seen he had a heart attack.
The doctors told him that what caused his heart attack was the chemical
constricted his heart and caused it to stop beating. It took 2 years and
thousands of dollars plus support for all of my family's friends before
our lives even started to get back to normal and it still has its effects
on him to this day.
Please join us afterward in a community forum on chemicals and our health.
