The Anarchy-Terror Link in Dictionaries/Thesauruses

.
If you look in many dictionaries, both in print and online, you will find that the definition of anarchy/anarchist/anarchism et al. often involves one of the words "violence" or "terror". Look in a thesaurus, and there is almost always a reciprocal link between "anarchist" and "terrorist". Oxford American Dictionaries also lists "mobocracy" as a synonym of "anarchy". Notice that if you look up "neoconservative" you never find any mention of violence, terrorism, murder, and the like. It is just defined as a political idealogy. This is how far the American governments propaganda has seeped into our lives. Write to the publishers of these dictionaries and let them know that it is not acceptable for them to collude with the government's attempt to appropriate our own language for it's benefit.

I have a dictionary from, i think, 1943 that describes feminism alternately as a mental aberration where people try to assert women are equal to men and as a denigration of a man by implying he has less than his share of manly qualities. that's just a summary from my faulty memory. maybe i'll remember to look up and post the exact definition later.

Thanks Dictionary Man! (... or Dictionary Dan... whichever you prefer.)
