Is there going to be a counter-protest?

This article was posted to the PCASC list at 8pm Saturday night. I hope that folks who are reading this get out there to counter-protest. I don't think these people should be able to spout their anti-immigrant rhetoric unopposed.

So if you feel strongly that Hate should not be spread in our town, it would be great if you could get down to the east side of pioneer square to oppose this hate-speech.

You dont think that 'these people' should be able to spout their anti-illegal immigrant rhetoric unopposed.....Im sorry I thought it was the people that are here legally that have the right to freedom of speech!

How do you figure automatically that it will be hate speech? Just because people want the laws followed in the United States doesnt mean that it is hate. We have laws in this country for a reason! That is what makes the United States so great! Dont for one second try and tell me Im a hater or a racist either ~ I am Hispanic but my family did it the RIGHT WAY THE LEGAL WAY! My family has fought in wars for this country ~ They came here to make this a better country not to ask for a freebie handout~ No one is trying to tear any families apart that is what I keep hearing people yacking about if you feel your family is being left back in Mexico or where ever NO ONE IS STOPPING YOU FROM JOINING THEM THERE! The thing the Americans are so upset about is the fact that YOU ARE DEMANDING THAT YOU BE MADE A CITIZEN WHEN YOU ALREADY BROKE THE LAW! How does that make sense? If someone went to your country and broke the law wouldnt you be upset? You wouldnt say WOW YOUR REALLY GREAT lets give you everything that you dont deserve..... DONT ANY OF YOU GET IT YOUR MAKING IT WORSE INSTEAD OF BETTER you dont go to a foriegn country and DEMAND things... Where is YOUR sense of pride for YOUR country? If you are so proud to be Mexican or whatever and wave your Mexican flags then what are you doing in USA to begin with.....If I went over there and DEMANDED things from your government they wouldnt even give me a job let alone the time of day unless I could at least speak the language....It is so sad that you are not realizing what you are making yourselves to look like and how sad and desperate you sound.....Just because you broke the law and are here now doesnt mean anyone owes you anything....If I break into your house and steal from you and dont get caught does that mean it shouldnt matter to you? think about it!
