I just got back from the march..
The marches from Philadelphia and Camden, NJ culminated at the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. There also is a march to Sen Spector's office. I have passed countless young people all day with signs. In my own neighborhood which is predominantly Asian and Black American I have seen flyers for today's boycott and rally in Spanish, English, Korean, Chinese, French, and Arabic.
If there was one headline for todays march in Philly (and it seems Chicago it is this): The crowd is diverse.
I would just like to send this quick report that there is quite a diverse crowd at the march and demonstrations today in Philadelphia as has been the case in the past. This is not just a Latino movement but an overall immigrant and indigenous rights movement.
