Thanks to an energetic new FNB regular, Thursdays will soon be hosted also at Colonel Summers Park. The E side dinners are actually hosted at the SE 17th & Taylor end of the park, near the pavilion.

Interested in helping? FNB is completely volunteer run, there is no office, money account, or official structure or hierarchy for that matter. FNB is whoever shows up. The difference between having a dinner that is just a big pot of hot food, and one that is for example a green salad, soup or stew, stuffed baked peppers, homemade pizza, fruit salad, and dessert, is the number of people who show up to make dinner. Getting donated ingredients is not a problem, the natural stores / food distributors often have more than can be used. If you're interested, show up at one of the dinners and tell the people serving that you want to help the next week.

Also, there is (tragically under-utilized) email list for Food Not Bombs organizing in Portland:

Info about Food Not Bombs history and philosophy:

Summary of FNB dinners for the time being:

- always served at about 5:30 (can be late sometimes up to about 1/2 hour)

- Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri Colonel Summers Park, SE 17th & Belmont
- Sat NW Couch & Park by the bronze elephant
- Sun Overlook Park, N Fremont & Interstate
