Homeless courts

Courts for homeless persons take a new turn.
I just saw a short presentation on NBC regarding homeless courts which were started in San Diego in 1989. Steve Binder, public defender, started this in an outdoor handball court to help homeless veterans living on the streets. The idea took hold and now there are homeless courts all through California and in other areas of the U.S. I did a Google search, but could not find any here in Oregon. Have I missed any? These seem like a great idea and offer a way for people to clear up some of their problems with dignity and hope. Here is the web page for more information:
