9.11 investigation

Kucinich on 9-11

"The implications are deadly for the people of the United States."

"Do we see a pattern here? 9-11? Katrina? They knew something was going to happen and they didn't act. They knew that if they went into Iraq that we were looking at a disaster, that there was no way we were going to be able to run that country. They know that global climate change poses a threat to the entire planet, nothing is being done, a pattern of recklessness, indifference, callousness. The implications are deadly for the people of the United States." -- Dennis Kucinich, addressing the U. S. House of Representatives, March 2, 2006
'9-11 Truth' forum at the kucinich.us website, has been discussing the 9-11 issues for some time now. Recently, the forum has reported on Dennis Kucinich's recent statement on the floor of the U. S. House of Representatives concerning 9-11 truth. A video (from CNN) has made available in the blogosphere at -

At the Kucinich.us '9-11 Truth' forum, 'DeepSoulRadio' posted this:

< I hear a little 9/11 truth creeping in...

< 911blogger.com has video of Dennis making a quick speech on the House floor in which he kind of adopts the "LIHOP" (let it happen on purpose) position (somewhat teetering on the incompetence theory though). While the truth is far far worse and requires massive media exposure, we can still give some thanks to Dennis for having the balls to say what he did.>

KUCINICH CONNECTS UP 9-11 AND KATRINA by way of "a pattern of recklessness, indifference, callousness"

"I want to call to the attention of the House the juxtaposition of two news stories. One [..] relating to 9/11. It says 'Federal officials where repeatedly warned in the months before the September 11, 2001 terror attacks that Osama bin Laden and Al-Queda were planning aircraft hijacking suicide attempts according to a new report that the Bush administration had been repressing'. And this from the front page of the Washington post, 'a newly leaked video recording the high level government deliberation the day before Katrina hit shows disaster officials infatically warning President bush that the storm posed a catastrophic threat to new Orleans and the gulf coast, and a grim faced bush personally assuring state leaders that his administration was fully prepared [..] to help'.

What "balls"? 13.Mar.2006 15:39

Jack Straw

Four and a half years after the fact, and Kucinich can only master an incompetence/maybe LIHOP view? Takes no "balls", sounds more like trying to keep some people's faith in the "Democratic" Party, stretching the edges to accomodate people who should leave that ruling class operation but are looking for any excuse not to.

"Bad Dem, very bad Dem, Dems bad" 13.Mar.2006 23:56

g.d. dem

It takes balls to do what Kucinich did because he is facing re-election in just a few short months, and he knows that the Republicans are gunning for him and will make this into a big deal in their media blitz. "Kooky Kucinich" will be their theme.

That's just the reality of politics U.S.A. - including the reality of the corpo media and mass mentality of the boob tube. Kucinich's mission is to enlighten and awaken the masses - and that's what he does, knowing that the masses may turn on him at any time and that he has nothing else. He has no support from global capital, no back-up from the secret governement, no RNC war chest, no inside track to the editorial offices of the leading media conglomerate in Ohio (the Taft company).

I disagree that Kucinich's remarks are some modification of 'incompetence/maybe LIHOP'. It's too easy to put someone in a box - 'LIHOP', 'MIHOP' etc., etc. - so as to avoid what the reality is. What Kucinich said is that Bushco knew about 9-11 befo it happened. You figure it out, Jack Straw or whoever . . . if you have any real thinking ability at all.

But that's all beside the point . . . because Jack Straw, like every other knee-jerk anti-Dem, has just one message to repeat on and on into tedious oblivion:

"Bad Dem, very bad Dem, Dems bad, very bad, bad bad Dems"

It doesn't matter if it's Kucinich or Cynthia McKinney or Barbara Lee - all those progressives exist for just one reason, says Jack Straw, to act as shills for the Republicans!

Yeah, sure, Jack Straw - and YOU are a tool of Karl Rove!

"Bad Dem, very bad Dem, Dems bad, very bad, bad bad Dems"

Even the "kucitizen' is very bad - for posting something that IS newsworthy in the 911 Truth campaign. (But let's not focus on that!)

Baad g.d. dem. Baad! 14.Mar.2006 19:58

Comandante Gringo ComandanteGringo@gmail.com

You know, I find Democrat Party shills and ringers on IMC almost as odious as neo-Nazi ones.

And Dennis wants support from the Left? He shudda thought about that the nite he caved-in to Kerry and the DLC and betrayed all those foolish enuff to work so hard for any Democrat.

Thanx for doing the right thing occasionally Dennis -- but don't anybody vote for this Democrat wimp -- or any of the other ones. Except maybe about the only one who has any balls: McKinney.

Dennis is a Leash 14.Mar.2006 20:54

I am not surprised to find G.D. Dem the first to speak up when someone promotes anti-imperialist politics. You claim Kucinich's goal is 'to enlighten and awaken the masses'...one could almost mistake him for a Communist...However, unlike a 'Communist' Kucinich does not work to shed light on the class struggle of labor vs capital or proletarian vs capitalist. Instead he works on 'enlightening and awakening the masses' to the incompetencies and callousness of the _current_ administration - as if the u.s. working class hadn't been systematically lead to war over and over again for the last 150 years. But Dennis does not seem to understand this _fact_ - to him it is merely a question, a possibility..

"The people of this country have a right to know if there was an effort to deliberately mislead them, and the taxpayers have a right to know how their tax dollars are being spent. Support the resolution of inquiry. Reclaim the power of Congress"
--taken from  http://www.kucinich.us/

Reclaim the power of Congress? Is that progressive? Power for who... The Working class? No, they never had any power to begin with, how can they 'reclaim it'? No, what Dennis means is of course, regaining control of congress from the clutches of the 'neo-cons' in the executive branch. To Dennis we live in a tyrannical dictatorship, not an Imperialist nation with a factional ruling class. Atleast, that's what he represents in his thinking. He is pretty unclear about that. Maybe he thinks that 'democracy' somehow supercedes the economic laws of our imperialist society. In any case he is under the spell of some serious delusions.

It's a possibility G.D. dem is right and Dennis is completely sincere, but wants to play it safe for elections (and not the Democratic Party brand on his chest) and his weak and watered down comments are to be ignored for his bravery. This is claimed as a defense against the mud-slinging that will come from the Republican Party and corportate media. This simply means it is more important for Dennis to have a good reputation in the eyes of his bourgeois masters then telling the truth to the working class.

The S11 truth movement has not had to rely on any corporate media or imperialist mouthpieces for it's growing popularity. Such entities can only exist to hinder or leash it.
I would not count on Dennis to be a spokesperson for the September 11th truth movement, or the anti-war movement, for that matter!.

What's wrong with the second picture?

Kucinich still pushing "failure and incompetence" LIHOP .. at this late date 18.Mar.2006 20:41

theSaiGirl lynnertell@comcast.net

Dennis Kucinich .. a day late and a dollar short.
Or, more precisely, four years too late.

Cowards and impotent hand-wringers like Kucinich make me want to gag.

Can't you see what their role is ?
To keep us all safely tethered to the gatekeepers in the Whore-acratic Party

So we'll settle for a kinder, gentler and "more competent" permanent "War on Terror" (and domestic police state) under the benign leadership of a Clinton, Gore, Kerry, Clark .....whatever flavor of the month they decide to replace sock-puppet Bush with....... after the next rigged national election.

Kucinich has been personally confronted over all the evidence that 9/11 was an inside job: the controlled demolition material, videos, David Ray Griffin's books ....
Enough is enough.

Dennis is LOSER ...

As the old Dylan lyric put it so bluntly:
"Your old road is Rapidly agin'.
Please get out of the new one, If you can't lend your hand
For the times they are a' changin'..."

To Kucinich, I say:
Either lead or get out of the way ..
You're just blocking the road...

Context of poetic reference to Dennis Kucinich 18.Mar.2006 22:05

theSaiGirl lynnertell@comcast.net

Dennis Kucinich as a fumbling

Congressman Kucinich stands on the narrow edge of the pyramid here.
His is a subtle and morally ambiguous dance, about the gaping credibiity holes that plague each new version of the modified limited hangout about 9/11.

He either 'balances" with the truth about the controlled demos and destruction of evidence and wilfull construction of fraud and hoax on the American people ..... essentially the legal case that others have made for MIHOP (see Morgan Reynolds for example) ...

The stuff that so many of his "followers" already know ...

Or Dennis has to surrender his sould yet further; to passively watching his senior Party Senators vote for even more extreme extensions and "enhancements" of the recenlty signed Patriot Act 2.1.0 (version 2 / release 1)...
greasing the wheels (contracts and money mostly) for more comprehensive and thorough "security programs" to ease the transition into a full-blown police-state.

As to "leading or getting out of the road" ...
Wouldn't want the author to be quoted out of context..
 http://www.bobdylan.com/songs/times.html

When I try to see what , the difference between what I remember from back then ......
And what is happening now ...
It only bothers me that I'm old enough to remember

Back at the time the Dylan lyric was written ....it was never as extreme as this
It was not the same climate of fear ...

They would never have dared act in such nakedly police-state manner, back in the day .. even under the worst swindling, thuggery and voyeurism of the Nixon administration ...
often caught dead-to-rights in gross violations of the laws and Constitution ..
but they would not have openly advertised the legitimacy of torture (Alberto Gonzalez, John Woo)....
Nothing coming from Hoover or John Mitchell, or that bagman Agnew; ever sounded as threatening as what we now routinely hear from White House press conferences or in think-tank sessions on C-SPAN.
Torture has been normalized.
Even in popular entertainment.
The gangsters in power today are bolder and more arrogantly open about their thuggery and threats.

The Gulf of Tonkin hoax kind of resembles the WMD lie.
But even a Nixon or Johnson wouldn't have dared to pull off a 9/11 ...
An act of of such bold scale and complexity ... would they ?
They would never have been able to so easily legislate the equivalent of the Reichstag "Enabling Acts", that paved the way for a legal totalitarian state and culture in Germany.
Or impose total surveillance, proposed a national id; selling off the infrastruct;ure and assets directly to foreign governments or "companies" (DPW)
The run-of-the-mill corruption of a Nixon seems pale, alongside what we have lived through since 9/11.

But Dennis Kucinich has taken it all in stride.
So....., re: 9/11 the inside job ...
he "speaks no evil" either.

Instead he will be remembered like so many of those "Weimar" Social Democrats; and liberals, and progressives ....
who made the fatal mistake of failing to expose the Nazis outright, with a charge of complicity or actively engineering the now-legendary Reichstag Fire.
They sealed their own end.

As he keeps his silence over 9/11 ..
by failing to speak out and state what he truly knows about these crimes ;
of fraud, RICO, murder and treason...
and failing to call for the arrest of the perpetrators of these outrages;
along with their stooges in the media....

Our "Patriot Act(s)", which have now gutted the Bill of Rights, don't seem extreme enough to Kucinich ..
.. for him to "blow the whistle" on 9/11 and speak the WHOLE truth about what went that day ...
and in its pre-planned media psy-ops, executed after the fact.

I'm not gonna hold my breath waiting for this Congressman to bail me out.
Knowing that, if he survives "politically" ... by tippy-toe-ing around 9/11 MIHOP ..
by HIS failing to openly acknowledge what he knows
about systematic state-sponsored false-flag "terror";
not only here in the US, but in Europe and Asia as well..
.
. if he and others in his position remain fatally silent ..
We will probably BOTH still be arguing strategy,
from the safety and comfort of a FEMA camp.

Why isn't this Congressman organizing a caucus in the House to bring criminal charges against figures within this government who have wilfully either covered up or participated in the actual execution of these crimes ?

Dennis is AWOL on 9/11.

Dennis Kucinich ... as Hamlet !!! 18.Mar.2006 22:27

theSaiGirl lynnertell@comcast.net

Dennis to the Rescue !!

Something's rotten in the State of the Union.
Gangsters are in power.
They've hijacked the society and driven it into a mad program of permanent "pre-emptive" war and hi-tech domestic police state, via an escalating duet of staged terrorist attacks, followed by shrill calls for ever tighter restrictions on personal freedom... and the looming threat of near-totatl martial law (Tommy Franks in "Cigar Afficianado" magazine).

The religious fascists, corporate gangsters, spooks and bureaucrats; promote their program by engineering or sponsoring false-flag "terror" events; providing sufficient pretext for extending and tightenting their power yet further, ad infinitum.

Casting Dennis Kucinich as a parody of Hamlet.
It's his "existential" moment.
Will he stand up and speak the truth openly ?
Or roll over and play dead; yet again...?

(What was that cliche from the Old Mole about "history repeating itself .. the first time as tragedy .. the second time as farce " ?)

SETTLE A CONFLICT BY HAVING A REAL INVESTIGATION 10.Jul.2007 08:19

Elaine N. Ramey

Anyone that believes the original 911 Commission story must have a 4th grade elementary school mentality. Pure and simple, the 911 attacks were an inside job. The skies in Mew York and D. C. were deliberately left open for a full ninety minutes so that the buildings could be hit by planes. Whoops! They missed one in Manhattan; that was building 7. However, they did not mention building 7 so we had better forget about that one. (ha) But in any event we need a true and accurate investigation of the 911 attacks. If this weren't such an agonizing experience, the explanations for it would be laughable. Sincerely, Elaine N. Ramey Kissimmee,Fl
