AN INTERFAITH SERVICE OF PRAYER FOR PEACE IN IRAQ

When: Sunday, January 22, 2006 at 4 p.m.

Where: Augustana Lutheran Church, 2710 N.E. 14th Street, Portland

What: An opportunity to gather together with people of all faiths to pray for peace in Iraq. The service will include songs, prayers, and reflections on the war. Speakers include: Rev. Mark Knutson, Rabbi Daniel Isaak, Shahriar Ahmed, Rev. Gabrielle Chavez, and Rev. Wes Taylor. The Encore Choir and Marilyn Keller will sing. A time will be set aside after the service for sharing and community building for all of those in attendance.
