Drew HitNRun

Drew Kenny was hit by a car last night (Saturday, Oct 15. He was released by the hospital yesterday. The red Audi that nearly killed him didn't even stop.
He is a little raw.
the red Audi is missing a passenger's side mirror, and the police have a
witness.

here is some of Drew Kenny's testimony from a hit and run last night:

i was going South outta my driveway on Killingsworth between 18th and
19th,. i looked up, but i saw him and he was a couple blocks away. im not
sure if he spead up.
i was lucky, if i was a half a second slower...

my bike landed past me blocks ahead... it felt like the worst sight of my
life, watching my bike go flying though the air.
the car was gone. i was just thinking i could be dead. so... My left eye
is prety shut. the left side of my helmet is ... my right food is
sublexed. my foot was stuck in my bike... and my shoe... well yeah. i went
to the hospital. my bikes over at the house. i got my stuff. i didn't even
drink last night. im so pissed.
I have to go to the school to tell them i wont be able to finish for a
couple weeks.

my ankle. yeah... its fine it hurts. im so lucky. oh yeah i was at emanual...
i laid there for 2 hours.

we got the side mirror,

the cops said, "were gonna look into it"

we got some pictures.

i've lost my depth perception.

police officer Davidson spoke with Drew Kenny at the hospital. The police
said a witness said it was a red Audi. Which now is missing a passenger

please

Not clear on the circumstances of the collision. Was Mr. Kenny launching himself across a road in front of a moving car, or did the car run him down from behind?

geriatric biker

I'm aghast that someone would drive into a biker.

I'm mortified that someone would keep driving after doing so.

I'm very grateful that you will heal up.

How could someone's heart be so small and spirit be so shriveled to not immediately stop and do all possible for you? It is perplexing and dismaying.

May bikers multiply until hydrocarboneers are in the tiny minority on segregated streets...
