Conference at COCC

The COCC Diversity Committee is very pleased that Central Oregon Community College is hosting the eleventh annual conference of the OREGON DIVERSITY INSTITUTE, to be held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, November 3rd through 5th, 2005. The theme of the conference is: "Collaborating for Diversity: In the Community, On Campus and In the Workforce." Keynote speakers include civil rights figure and past president of national NAACP Myrlie Evers-Williams, United Farm Workers of America co-founder (with Cesar Chavez) Dolores Huerta, OSU Director for Community and Diversity Tyrell Ross, and Warm Springs poet and artist Elizabeth Woody.
