in a society where the political process was actually democratic, we would have the ability to end the war. This however, is not the case. The population of a country has zero ability to end a war short of a full scale social revolution.
If this seems to radical, then I suggest a continuation of writing letters to our "represntatives", and marching in circles around downtown with peace-signs. These techniques did not work in during Vietnam, and they will not work now.
