what

this article means.. but it's great that the audio from this weekend's Alternatives to Capitalism Conference is up on the front page of the KBOO website... and it's great that some KBOO show hosts post the text of their shows here for those of us who can't always have the radio on... I especially like Andrew Steltzer's show and the other sister who comes on at around 11 I think with the Well Read Red, and so many others... I'm so glad that Amy Goodman's Democracy Now! show is now on at 11am every day, what a breath of fresh air from outside this bubble of Portland... I feel a lot more informed about world affairs lately...

It would be nice if Portland IMC carried a link or some other way to point folks in the direction of the only local community radio station in town, considering that IMCistas seem to cherish audio so much. It would also be nice if some of the audio that KBOO has a hard time archiving could be stored on this site so people could benefit from the well-researched shows that people like Theresa Mitchell and Andrew Steltzer put together that KBOO is having a hard time archiving, according to a post earlier this month, at:  http://portland.indymedia.org/en/2005/08/322724.shtml.

Doing this would likely get announcers like Andrew Steltzer & Theresa Mitchell to mention on their shows where their shows are archived here.
