Count me in for 9/24 actions in Portland

If there are any actions being planned for 9/24 (the date of the Washington, DC march/rally), please let me know. I'd like to be involved in the organization of something.

As far as i know there is nothing here. In Seattle, however, there is a big march/rally. the ANSWER people have cooked up some transportation (on the train) that leaves in the morning and comes back at night on the same day. Cheap tix (for a train, anyway. And me, i'm 15. I guess being youngs pays off once and a while) So check it out here:  http://www.answerseattle.org/Transportation.aspx

Its $46 round trip, hope to see you there.

You can just cross over the Columbia River and get off in Vancouver for our Peace and Justice Fair in Esther Short Park downtown. We'll even have a train for you in the park! Lots of interesting stuff for peace......Sat. Sept. 24, 9 - 5 pm.

In Vancouver the 24th, put on by Vancouver for Peace. Esther Short Park, 8th and Esther St. www.vancouverforpeace.org or vancouverpeaceandjusticefair.org. Not specifically to coincide with the DC march (this is has been planned for months) but you'll find individuals interested in peace.

Last I heard UFPJ and others are putting together a candlelight vigil spanning both the Hawthorne and Burnside bridges, which is going to be awesome and leave time to go to Vancouver events or any other that have sprung up between now and then in the daytime hrs. I expect you'll be hearing more about the candlelight bridgel soon as tonite is first planning meeting

There is a march in San Francisco, too 24.Aug.2005 12:38
