Cable access is no good 31.Jul.2005 10:29

BJDorr

Cable access is a great media for the locals. However cable access has no value when many cable viewers are switching to satellite dishes, avoiding the wrath of a monopolous industry of cable.

Did Sen. Smith have a dream about Jim Spagg again?

That's rediculous 11.Aug.2005 10:54

BJ:
your comment is counter-productive and sloppy thought. Cable access is not just a connection to a piece of wire, it is a system of education and alternative media which could just as easily be broadcast over dish network or other hardware ex. the Internet. Also, regardless of what "the public" may choose to do, lets hope that there will always be a contingent of educated and responsible citizens who value the content of non-corporate media. Your view is short-sighted and I suggest you give more thought to your comments before spreading them to others; they do matter.
