Lou Dobbs is a hatemonger supreme
Just watched Lou Dobbs on CNN. "Islamic Terrorists" bombed targets in London this morning, according to Dobbs. No mention of proof. They did it period. Dobbs has become the posterboy for racist, lying reporting that regularly demonizes immigrants, legal and otherwise. Any illusions that CNN is somehow 'better' than FOX News is totally disproved by the reality of Dobb's vicious nightly attacks. But to actually declare within 7 hours of these bombings that 'Islamic Terrorists' were definitely responsible is nothing short of irresponsible propagandizing. CNN tries hard to come across as fair and balanced, but Dobb's ultra-primetime slot every single night betrays CNN's true philosophy. When the trials for 911 begin, there's going to be a lot of 'newspeople' defending themselves against conspiracy charges. Conspiracy to coverup the truth, and aiding and abetting MASS MURDER. Lou Dobbs will be at the very top of that list. Can't wait to see his smug mug behind bars in Leavenworth, right next to Bush and Cheneythesatan.

Fox News' Brian Kilmeade: London terror attack near G8 summit "works to ... Western world's advantage, for people to experience something like this together"
The following exchange between Fox News host Brian Kilmeade and Fox News business contributor and substitute host Stuart Varney occurred during breaking news coverage of the attacks on London subways and buses on the July 7 edition of Fox News' Fox & Friends:

KILMEADE: And he [British Prime Minister Tony Blair] made the statement, clearly shaken, but clearly determined. This is his second address in the last hour. First to the people of London, and now at the G8 summit, where their topic Number 1 --believe it or not-- was global warming, the second was African aid. And that was the first time since 9-11 when they should know, and they do know now, that terrorism should be Number 1. But it's important for them all to be together. I think that works to our advantage, in the Western world's advantage, for people to experience something like this together, just 500 miles from where the attacks have happened.

VARNEY: It puts the Number 1 issue right back on the front burner right at the point where all these world leaders are meeting. It takes global warming off the front burner. It takes African aid off the front burner. It sticks terrorism and the fight on the war on terror, right up front all over again.

Al-Qaida or Psy-Op? 07.Jul.2005 16:32

All the networks are in their 'high gear'; wall to wall coverage, in breathless, near hysterical style. Lots of repetitions to burn the minds of the masses the desired message,(They say this had all the 'hallmark' of an Al-Qaida operation.) interupted by politicians gravely serious anouncements of solidarity and unbending resolve. "Security experts' opiniating of the need for tightening security and exercising vigilance. No dissenting, contrary opinion, no attempts are made for cool unbiased anlysis or debate at all.
I say, this has all the 'hallmark' of a Psychological-Operation in progress.

bush lies 07.Jul.2005 16:54

President Bush promised us safety; he promised the world would be safer if we invaded Iraq----WRONG. Bush is a liar and must be impeached--arrested and tried for war crimes.

Islamic terrorists did not orchestrate these attacks. They did not orchestrate the WTC attacks in '93 OR '01. The organizers of these terrorist acts, for the most part at least, have white...yes, read: WHITE skin. They are the intelligence communities of the western countries in collusion with other mercenary types. It's all too obvious and all signs point to the same direction. The progressives of this world better wake up pretty damn fast and stop the bullshit denial of what is obvious when researched.

Woa there. 07.Jul.2005 17:44

Did people die? If so how many? What specificly was the target of the bobmbing? Is this thread any more objective given that it doesn't provide the communique or a focused explanation of why the action took place?

BUBBA OL BUDDY- 07.Jul.2005 18:46

a troll trying to make us all look like idiots-screw 'em here's a good one to chew on- london has more video cameras on it's streets than san quentin. no, really. it has more surveillance units on it's streets than any other city in the world. you can look it up. cameras are focused on absolutely every transportation depot and vehicle. there's no way these bombers weren't caught on tape somewhere. watch them dissemble on this aspect. they'll claim 'the cable went out'!

PBS is on board too. To accept it was al-qaeda, would mean you would have to accept that it's because of our arrogance, lies, and neo-colonialism that brought it on. They hate us because of our freedom?

Jumping The Gun 07.Jul.2005 20:29

North Portlander

I recall broadcasters speculating and screaming for Arab blood in the wake of the Oklahoma City bombings. It, too, had "all the earmarks of a middle eastern terrorist attack." Gee, guess who was wrong (but I don't remember any apologies). Wall-to-wall news coverage doesn't allow for waiting to see what actually happened and who was actually responsible.

If these events were provoked by the conference in Scotland the list of suspects with grievances becomes much larger than "Al Quaeda."

It makes me physically ill to hear about how the G-8's #1 focus has now become the war on terrorism. Say it ain't so!

.. 07.Jul.2005 21:31

It's sad that people's eyes aren't shifting quickly enough to whom the perpetrators of the attacks were. There is absolutely no evidence that Al Queada or some related faction were behind them. At best it's a mere assumption. At worst, well...we all now suspect who it was, don't we...if not, taking your head out of the sand may do you some good.

Is it going to be civil war? 07.Jul.2005 23:30

Fighting in the streets, boy...IT'S HAPPENING ALL OVER. I worry about the sweet innocents AND the seasoned fighters. People out there must take a deep breath..wake up....and march to attention. Do what's RIGHT FOR THIS PLANET. Change your eating habits/ less oil dependency/more alternative fuels, pay attention to the world around you, question war/power but respect the power of nature/ stop pollution of organic treasures/ animals/air/food/watert/rees/human life? London suffers-we suffer-they all suffer- unjustly-I pray to the goddess, for those humans who have lost touch. Strength! Courage!

Fox News reporter divides Londoners into 'Arab' and 'regular people' 08.Jul.2005 07:40

Fox News doesn't think some Londoners are real Londoners. Here, an overexcited Fox News reporter catches himself dividing beleaguered Londoners into 'Arab' and 'regular people'.
