9.11 investigation | government | imperialism & war

Bush wastes no time to exploit the London tragedy for political capital, just like 9/11

Here are bush's words, wich came faster then his words on 9/11. "The war on terror goes on." "We will find them. We will bring them to justice"...does that sound familiar to everyone? This is how he lied us into Iraq, bring the fight to "them". The bigger the lie, the more people will believe it.
Bush on London attacks: "US must now be extra vigilant"

"This morning I've been in contact with our homeland security folks and I instructed them to be extra vigilant as our folks start heading to work," Bush has stated.

U.S. President George W. Bush's statement on the attacks in London, delivered at the Group of Eight summit in Gleneagles, Scotland: "I spent some time recently with the prime minister, Tony Blair; had the opportunity to express our heartfelt condolences to the people of London, people who lost lives."

"I appreciate Prime Minister Blair's steadfast determination and restraint. He's on his way now to London here from the G-8 to speak directly to the people of London, to carry a message of solidarity with him," U.S. President Bush has stated.

"This morning I've been in contact with our homeland security folks and I instructed them to be in touch with local and state officials about the facts of what took place here and in London and to be extra vigilant as our folks start heading to work," the U.S. leader has informed. "The contrast between what we've seen on the TV screens here, what's taken place in London, what's taken place here is incredibly vivid to me."

"On the one hand, we got people here who are working to alleviate poverty and to help rid the world of the pandemic of AIDS and that are working on ways to have a clean environment. And on the other hand, you've got people killing innocent people," George Bush has declared. "And the contrast couldn't be clearer between the intentions and the hearts of those of us who care deeply about human rights and human liberty, and those who kill, those who've got such evil in their heart that they will take the lives of innocent folks."

"The war on terror goes on. I was most impressed by the resolve of all the leaders in the room. Their resolve is as strong as my resolve. And that is, we will not yield to these people, will not yield to the terrorists. We will find them. We will bring them to justice," U.S. President has added. "And at the same time we will spread an ideology of hope and compassion that will overwhelm their ideology of hate. Thank you very much."

What a convenient way to shift the focus of the G8 from climate change and debt forgiveness to war and terrorism! Who can expect these goons to enact anything meaningful in the wake of such an attack?
Anyone else sense conspiracy?

Strange how Giuliani is always present for these "terror" attacks.

sandra dee: jaded and tainted

Aye to that, Sunglasses. Who benefits from this? Who benefitted from the bombing of the UN in Iraq? Who benefits from the killing of independent journalists there? Not the ones who it is credited to. Doesn't this feel like the number one tactic of Kommisar Karl Rove, all over again? Time for my foil hat again...

Also strange that Israel always knows whats going to happen before it happens.

what kind of an idiot 07.Jul.2005 19:31

What kind of an idiot proclaims that the "War on Terror goes on". What a boob! The "War on Terror" will never end...has the Palestine/Isreal trouble slackened in the least bit in my lifetime...hell no. Neither will this fiasco. Get to the root of the issues and settle them fairly amongst the parties involved and all will be fine. But that is impossible with a boob in charge that thinks he is going to "win" the "War on Terror" whatever that means. It is certainly not going to be fought in Iraq. Isn't that his claim...that we are taking the fight to them in Iraq so we don't have to fight them here? What a jerk, they just showed the world that it does not matter what we do in Iraq! Declare the war over and bring our men home. Freedom starts here, now.

Do any of you honestly doubt that British intelligence agencies are guilty of these high crimes? If you do...God help you.

In a moment of unscripted lucidity even Bush admitted "I don't think you can win it." He's repeating carefully crafted lies for the Christian right and the more out-of-touch people on Wall Street. He knows we don't believe him, but he also knows we never supported him in the first place so it doesn't matter what we think.
