I think it is especially frustrating to realize that police in Eugene have very little public accountability to their actions. Complaints against Magana went back for a decade and were never adequately investigated. The Eugene City Manager also just recommended against any sort of indepenedent review board, which is incredibly frustrating.
Does anyone know of any Eugene resources for obtaining police reports quickly?
Lane county as well as US government is running a close second to Hitler
I was a long time resident of Lane County Oregon since 1980 up until I finally left of my own free will a couple of years ago. During the time I resided there I was harassed and beaten by the Lane County authorities more than once. I also had pictures at one point and was laughed out of court when I tried to bring up the issue. Apparently, it is okay to beat, and murder (which I personally have known the authorities to do in Lane county - this is an undisputed FACT!) I have witnessed unspeakable horrors issued on the citizens of Lane County, while the county government has turned a blind eye to these atrocities! Can anyone stand up against this powerful, lawless force? How many times will this police get away with the same and even more serious crimes then the criminals who they incarcerate? How much power do the people of Lane County plan to allow a government gone so wrong? Maybe it is time that the true criminals find a cell for themselves - heck, 90% of the police, judical members and district attorney's, would have a record! Stand up for justice and innocent people become victoms because they were brave enough to speak out truth! What is the world coming to when there is a need for protection from the very people that the citizens pay for protection?
