Pastor Maxine Matland, of Signs of Victory, Just May Be The Devil Himself

The old biblical "wolves in sheeps clothing", seems to define all to well many so called christians these days. From the rightwing, zionist, extremists to the suburban bigbox congregation, super consumers in their supersized SUV's.

Thank God for people like CJ Surpless, for having the guts to speak of his treatment at The Signs of Victory Mission, in Albany, Oregon. My daughter unfortunately ended up in Oregon and was looking for an apartment after having come out of a very violent relationship in another state. She was in the thrift shop owned by Maxine Matland who said that she had apartments to rent.Sure enough the Matlands were alright to her in the very beginning and then her son George started to befriend my daughter.He told her that he was a minister in the church, that his mother Maxine was the pastor, and Gale (his sister) played the piano and did the books, or should I say "cooked the books" in more places than just The Signs of Victory Mission.I heard nothing from my daughter for a few months, and we were very close.I started phoning all around different states when I was told that she had moved away, and eventually I found her in Oregon at this church mission in Albany.Her two sons had been taken into care as she had been so run down and beaten up, and there had been an incident with a friend of hers, whereby he had attacked one of her children, that SCF took the children for one year. My daughter did fall in love with George because he was so nice to her and wanted to help her get her children back.They married after one month of going out together,and she did get her boys back.When I had located where my daughter was and heard that she had married a minister in the church, and that the family was running a shelter and so on, I was delighted. At last, I thought, she had found some happiness.How wrong could I have been.She would have done better by marrying Satan himself because what the three of the Matlands did to her and her children was not only evil, sadistic and sick, but it turned out that they never were ordained in the church and were performing lots of marriage ceremonies on many people, both to each of the Matlands and others who were unfortunate enough to stay at the mission, on top of which, they charged them to do these ceremonies.This alone is out and out fraud.Albany courthouse knowingly are covering these illegal marriages up, as are Oregon Vital Statistics office, the police cover up their crimes and believe me, we are not just talking about the theft of the homeless people's mail, theft and fraudulent use of Food Stamps, child labor, child abuse of the worst kind, arson, rape,spousal abuse, that would shock and sicken you,blackmail and more. I have tried many ways of getting something done but no, all of the authories including SCF and Oregon State Bar, and your heads of government in Oregon, are a tight nit clan letting people like the Matlands get away with all their crimes because these missions have access to the poorest, most needy people going. They are single parents, veterans, and those who people aren't necessarily looking for.My daughter was given poison, doped up, brainwashed into believing that the police were going to arrest her and were waiting outside the mission.They would bundle her up and sneak her out of the back door and take her away in a car to another house.This could be for a couple of days at a time.She had a son for George, he is eight years old now.One night when it was late and the Matlands were as usual, full of alcohol, and drinking in the church with some of the homeless people,my middle grandson was tired out from working (he was only five then) and he decided to go upstairs to where his mom was looking after the baby then a year and a half old.George followed my grandson up the staise and Maxine followed George. George verbally abused my grandson for leaving work,he was at that time sitting down trying to rest. George kicked the chair from under him and as he fell, grabbed his head and rammed it into the brick wall. My daughter tried to get to the phone but Maxine was threatening to murder her, but she did get away into the bedroom and shut herself in whilst calling Albany Police dept.Two policemen turned up but George took them to one side and whatever he told them, nothing was done to George.George had scooped up the baby, the police did tell him to go and stay at his mother's for the night until things cooled down and it was that night that my daughter escaped with her middle son, helped by a neighbour who came to help her as he knew of all the other people who had been attacked by the Matlands.She thought that if she went to a refuge that night that on the following day she would get a Restraining Order against George and she would get her son back.WRONG! She did go to the court in Benton Co.,the Judge was very sympathetic and told her that she would get her Restraining Order in 24hrs.and a note would be given to the Police to pick up the child.The Matlands know the court system inside out and George went to Albany Courthouse on the afternoon of the day after the attack, and he said that it was my daughter who had attacked him and he got a Restraining Order straight away and temporary custody of baby George.My daughter did not get to see her son for months.One day she went to visit a local soup kitchen to see if she could find out what the gossip was re. Matlands. Gale and her child molesting latest husband(who also went through a marriage ceremony done by Matlands- except this one was a bit different, as there was no marriage cert. on record as Gale still was in an illegal marriage to a previous husband with whom she had tried to steal his three children, but the police rescued them.So although this latest man thought he was married to Gale, he was just another name she could use to sign for whatever it was she was trying to con.It was a mortgage and a bank account).He was the most violent man imaginable, even George got scared of him.He was not only violent but he was sexually molesting Gale's youngest daughter, with the Matlands knowing all along that this was going on.It was common knowledge with the people in the mission, however, all of the authorities knew but again they covered it all up.However, going back to my daughter's case, on the day she had gone to this other local soup kitchen, Gale and Donovan came in and walked up to her and served her with some legal papers for a divorce and full custody of baby George.At first she did not realise that they were for real as by then I had done a lot of investigating on the Matlands and knew that there was no marriage, so we thought that Matlands had made these papers up to frighten her.I even telephoned Georg's attorney to tell him that there was no legal marriage.I was silly enough to think that he was an honest man as he asked me to send him a fax straight away proving that there was no legal marriage.I did send him the proof.Supervised visitation was organised through the court and Edward Daniels Atty. was also the mediator, which I found strange as he was George's attorney.The Matlands did everything possible to see that my daughter could not see her son.They pinned notices up with silly messages, they had men from the mission waiting around the house that visitation was supposed to take place at, it was an impossible task, then Visitation was set for the local library.The baby had burns to his foot, other burn marks to his face and head, he was covered in flees and the clothes he wore were sometimes the same as he had been wearing three weeks earlier, except they were now stiff with dirt and stickyness. One day his nappy was so full with excretion that it had all poured down into his shoes. Gale laughed and took him to change his diaper. When they came back, all she had done was take it off. My daughter had bought him new shoes so she put them on himand put the old shoes into the box.When visitation was over and she was leaving the library, as she crossed the road, Maxine and Gale tried to run her down because she had the shoes and they were worried that she would use these as eveidence of neglect, they yelled and shouted at her asking for the shoes, then they again turned their vehicle and drove at her again.Andrea gave them to George's attorney.Although different modifications were being done regarding the visitation situation,which meant that she had to attend court, nothing was said about the divorce. We just thought that the court was very busy and that the case would be coming up one day, then she would get her son back.In about September of that year, a neighbour of my daughters read in the local paper that the divorce had taken place, and she found out that George had full custody.She was never even invited to her own divorce/ custody hearing.Matlands tried brainwashing baby George into believing that my daughter was not his mother, he even said it to her one day. Diane Aspengren and Peggy Davis of SCF in Albany have known all along of the abuse at Matlands and although Dianne begged me not to report her and promised to take note of any new cases of abuse, she lied and when more was reported, a Children's Services car went to the mission and the interview was done on the street, in the dark and nothing was again done.This was witnessed by two men working in the newspaper yard across from the mission.George has hounded my daughter, made little George pray with the Matlands that she would get killed on the visit to pick him up, her wheels were all loosened one day and just by sheer luck, she stopped to get a friend in the garage to see what was wrong with the car and he went to drive it and one of the wheels came off completely whilst on the highway. He gets people to follow her, he sends SCF to her door saying that the other child is being abused, he does everything he can to wear her down and this has gone on for years. When she got visitation and could keep her son for weekends and holidays, he would send the Police to her door on one excuse or another.She has not seen her son for two years now,this family have nearly destroyed her.Regarding the court case that she wasn't invited to, it was fixed and certain paperwork witheld.So she never did stand a chance of getting her son.She is a good living church person who adores her children. And the crooks who run Albany Courthouse, SCF, the Police dept.,and all the others who cover up Matland crimes in Albany, prior to that, Cave Junction in the late '70,s and before that in California and other areas, are equally as bad.You are dealing with a TRILOGY OF PURE EVIL in the Matlands.Please do not use this mission.Sleeping on the streets is far safer for your health.Also of course, you could be caught in one of their fires.

Right on CJ! I was so glad I ran into tou, and let me just say that your assessment of "Signs of Victory"is 100% correct. I know, becaus I spent quite a while there in that hell hole. Maxine IS NO MINISTER!!!!!She is top rate Con arest who cant wait to take even a homeless persons possesions. . I remember one day working in a delapitated old warehouse bulding wooden palletts, and loading them by hand on the back of a big flatbed truck. It was so hot that I actually got heatstroke.Maxine's son was "the boss", and he would not even let me go to the hospitel, probebly becaus he did'nt want me to start giving information on what was going on there. It was the quentesential sweat shop. I went to hospitel anyway, and when I was fisished and starte back twords the roach infested shelter, Maxine came driveing by, shouting out an open window. "I think you need to find another place to stay, so, I did. The real sad part of all of this is the fact that Maxine actually thinks she is a minister,so,i say to Maxine, YOU ARE A STUMBLING BLOCK TO THOSE WHO ARE SEEKING CHRIST! yOU ARE A CHRISTIAN EMBARRASSMENT.YOU DONT HELP THE POOR, YOU LINE YOU POCKETD AND AND HIDE UNDER THE TITLE MINISTER. It came to my mind that as evil as maxine matland is, someone must have posted something about her somewhere, so I googled pastor maxine.
I couldn't have been happier because when it came up [pastor maxine a ministry of pure evil] I knew I had found the right pastor maxine!
It was 9 years ago that I fell into her evil clutches, and the experience is forever etched in my brain.
I did the dishes, cleaned the dining area, stocked maxines personal freezer with t bones, waited outside in the rain before dinner, laoded their flatbed with junk ect. All after a 12 hour day of referbishing pallets, just to be yelled at by maxine and her pit bull of an assistant fred.
Fred was a muscular and extreamley agrressive young man that had just been released from prison. He would treat us all very badly and and would scold us in maxines name for just about anything. He had a girlfreind that was living in his room with him at the mission with maxines blessing but they werrent married yet. She was attractive, but slow, and I think fred took advantage of that. If anyone knows anything about that situation feel free to share.
It seams to fit a pattern!
We had to ask maxines permision to go across the street to the frosty freeze, and if she wasn't available at the mission to ask, we simply couldn't go.
We had to attend her church service on sunday at what is now the soup kitchen, and believe me, it was terrible! It gives me shivers just thinking about it.
Maxine would rant, rave, scowl and yell at us. She was always watchfull of our facial expressions and our body language I.e waching if we were puting our hands in the air ect. And I always had the feeling I would be kicked out of the mission if I didn't seam enthousiastic enough.
I know the bible fairly well, and I remember disagreeing within myself about her manner of preaching and most importantly the content.
I clearly remember her stating that she was an advocate for the homeless, and a close friend of the govenor. I remember her stating that she had a radio show, and that she graduated from oral roberts university. She said she was a banker befor she was a preacher, and I believe it!!

I remember poeple telling me that she had many properties in the area, and she rented them out. There was a guy there that came back drunk one day and still didn't get kicked out because he was granted SSI and was waiting for his check. He had agreed to rent a room from maxine and was given privilage due to the garonteed income he would bring her.
Anyone else would have been instantly removed.

I clearly remember maxine puting us in the back
of her van and verbaly abusing us with vulgar language including the F word!
I left the mission because I got a night job at a corn processing plant and maxine wouldn't let me sleep there in the day. I got away with it once and worked for two days before I had to quit.
I then went to the salvation army and they told me how maxine had another organization shut down for feeding the homeless without a food liscence.
They saved me by getting me a room untill I could get my check and get out of town.

I wrote the govener soon after this experience but for some reason I figured he wouldn't read it. The letter was long and almost unbelievable.
Yeah, unbeleivable! That's what I kept saying to myself when I was there. Unbeleivable! I

This website has done much to strengthen my case in the matter of Maxine Matland I am very happy to see poeple posting on a subject as serious as this, and I sincerely hope that a few important leaders in the community [chiefly the govenor] are directed to, and perhaps take the time to wiew this truly informative site.

I will bet that you all thought that I was referring to Maxine Matland and her son George and daughter Gale, who run The Signs of Victory Mission.I do not need to refer to them in this letter as that because anyone with half a brain, already knows that they are from the devil. No! I am referring to those in Albany Courthouse, Services To Children and Families, Police dept., Fire dept., Sheriffs dept., and Oregon State Offices, as being "Children of the Devil." If there was one honest, Christian person amongst them, they would do something about the conditions that the homeless people endure. And what about the people lured into the many illegal marriages (that the Matland family carry out) and take pleasure in charging money for these, and they are not worth the paper that they are written on. Worse still, providing that these people can "ESCAPE" from the Matland's clutches, they then have to go through a divorce for a marriage that never was, even if you have the Marriage Certificate to prove it.
Doesn't it strike anyone as strange as to why Albany Courthouse would willingly go ahead with these divorces,for marriages performed by the Matlands, knowing that they are not legal.Why would Albany Courthouse knowingly allow themselves to get caught up in this web of deceipt unless there was something going on , that we the public, don't know.Why would Albany Police allow themselves to take false statements from the Matlands over violence, fires, and all of the other crimes that the Matlands carry out, including child and adult abuse,and attempted murder,if there wasn't something in it for them. We are talking over twenty years of crimes, not just a few.
Why would Jason Carlile, District Attorney, for so long, knowingly ignore all that is going on at that evil mission? He knows all the crimes that went on there, I know that because I told him myself.But is he man enough to take a stand against the Matlands? Well, it seems not.Because he has turned a blind eye to all of the goings on there.He knows only to well of the abuse that my grandson suffered from 1998. He has seen the photos as did Diane Aspengren and Peggy Davies and the Chief of Police.
What "BUZZ" are the officials in Albany getting from the knowledge that they are allowing the Matlands to carry on committing all the crimes that they like, and there is no comeback.I would ask myself just who these so called officials are actually representing, because it certainly is not law abiding citizens.
My daughter lost custody of her son, George Raymond Matland 111, because she could not go to her own divorce due to the fact that she was not told that it was taking place. Thus George Matland Junior, got full custody. It was George Matland who bashed my other grandson's head into a brick wall one night for daring to be tired and went up to his mother for a rest. You might think to yourself that he must be a lazy little kid, but just before you do, he was 4yrs. old and he was working in the Matlands Soup Kitchen late at night, and it was not food that Matlands were serving, it was a late night drinking binge.One of their many drinking binges.After Maxine had threatened to murder my daughter for daring to call 911, George scooped up baby George and told the Police that my daughter had started the row. George kept the baby in his arms and the Police told him to go to his mother's for the night and she took this chance to grab her other son and escape, thinking stupidly that she would get her baby the following day.So George went and got a Restraining Order saying that my daughter attacked him, and he got to keep the baby. She has hardly seen her son since.George Raymond Matland, his mother Virginia Maxine Matland and Virginia Gale Matland are all in this series of extremly vicious, vindictive crimes together. And it is about time that you Oregonians get together and do something about this family because those who run Albany and Oregon in general , will go on covering up all the violence, arson, fraud, theft of mail, illegal marriages, child abuse, adult abuse, and many more crimes.There has to be a reason why these agencies are doing this.Think about it?
What could the Matlands possibly have going for them, to keep all of these officials from prosecuting them? If you have a computer why don't you read all of the articles on a website called "A Voice For The Children".Then see what your officials are up to.Especially click on "The Truth is on Trial In A Court of Lies." No wonder they are not interested in putting right the very great wrongs that they have done to my daughter and her sons and all of the other people that they have wronged. Shame on them. They are worse than the Matlands because they are proving that they condone what they do. When you are next asked to vote these so called human beings in to their positions of authority again, I would think very carefully. Are you really wanting these evil people to have a say in your lives when they are no more than evil scum themselves and it is they who should be in prison, because they are the dregs of society and not fit to live amongst honest, hardworking human beings.If by any chance you think that I am exaggerating, believe me, I can prove everything that I have said.It is not until my daughter rightfully has her son back with her again and this family are dealt with once and for all, as are these so called officials, that I will stop making this story public.

Dear homeless friends, I was unfortunate enough to fall on hard times for a few weeks back in the late nineties.In God's name, how can anyone call that a place of Christianity.Children working their butts off until late into the night whilst this family and hangers on drink themselves into oblivion.

The Pastor, or so she pretends to be,screaming her orders at whoever happens to be around.A woman who is so eaten up with greed, she would rob the eyes from out of your head if she could sell them.Her son is as sick if not worse than she is.But to frightened of her not to obey her every wish.Mind you, he is too old to change now as he must be well in his fifties and very deluded as he also believes that he is working for the Lord as does another woman there, who I think was his sister.

Why the people of Albany have not realized that these people are only using this place as a way to fill their own bank accounts, and to keep their alcohol quota going, is a surprise to me because it is so blatently obvious that they are most certainly not there to help the homeless, nor to preach about the Lord, because if they knew the Lord, they would not dare to treat their children in the manner they do, nor the homeless, whom they should feel priviledged to serve.

Why the FBI do not investigate that place I cannot imagine,I am sure that the IRS would also be interested in them, but then there must be something going on there that I did not have time to fathom out, but if they are not closed down once and for all, for their violence against children and adults alike, for crimes against humanity that would sicken the hardest of souls, it is up to the people of Albany to get together and rid this district of the scum who run this den of iniquity,and who are now branching out into places like Corvallis and Lebanon and will drag them down with their evil , the way they have done in Albany.The people here might walk around blind as to what REALLY goes on here, but GOD sees all.Let us pray that He makes His presence known before too long, to that vile family, a product of pure evil and corruption. You would not believe the quality of food that goes into one freezer, compared to the quality of the food that goes into the other.
One is her personal food, for her and her constituants. The other is for the homeless that toil in that sweat shop refurbishing palletts 10 hours a day.
You would not believe this womans demeanor if you were to see it! The thing that comes to my mind instantly is the wicked witch of the west!
This woman is just aufull! And she is having her way with every homeless person that falls into her web.
Please, I beg you, send this web page to people of importance so they might see the many crimes against humanity, not to mention other iliegal missapropreation of funds that this wicked woman gets away with due to a tax free lifestile that is handed to her as a registered charity.

They didn't have the internet when I was there, but that has changed. Homeless people have begun to get a voice do to the internet that is available at any publc library.
Some of us that have been through her terror mill have become successfull, productive citizens since then, and don't mind using their education to inform others of the terrible experiences to be had at signs of victory.

I couldn't let this important American holiday season pass without wishing you all (minus a few)a very happy Thanksgiving and a really good Christmas.I hope that Santa Clause brings you everything that you want, and that the "FEW" get everything that they deserve. In this case, PRISON for many years, so that you can pay for your crimes against humanity which you have carried out for so many years.Yes we are referring to the delightful family by the name of MATLAND, who run "The Signs of Victory Albany Mission", and their latest acquisitions at 202 NW 3rd. Corvallis, and 605 Main Street, Lebanon, called "Signs of Victory Retail and Resale".That makes it that they have three thrift shops,(as there is also one at 620 Cleveland Street, Albany, where they run their church and soup kitchen from also, plus 705 Lyon Street, where the homeless person's shelter is situated.Plus of course, don't forget the ex. govenor's house at 208 SE 7th. Ave.,Albany, which is the home of Pastor Maxine Matland. Sorry! a slight feaux pas, she is not and never has been an ordained minister.But you all in Oregon turn a blind eye to that in the state offices, like you all do in the local Albany offices and courthouse, police dept., and so on.

On the subject of collecting properties, of which the Matlands have had many over the years, especially all the slums that they had for rent which have mostly been foreclosed on, it would give one the idea that the Matlands are into "COLLECTING" in a big way.I am now referring to spouses.

George Raymond Matland, son of "Maxine" has had eight wives.Or rather eight that I have found so far.I think that he is determined to try and beat Henry V111.But when one looks closer at these wives, one realizes that the reason he has had so many is because most of these so called marriages lasted only days or weeks, or until the woman had a chance to escape from the Matland's clutches, when she couldn't stand the violence and threats from all three of the Matlands, any longer, on herself and in some cases her child/ children.Yes, Mr. Matland is a very nasty piece of work, he is certainly his mother's son.And him being a church minister! Another big joke.He has the same diluded beliefs as mother Maxine.This is the man who fed my daughter poison on a teaspoon, from a bottle that he pretended was Tylanol, when she was ill.She was a damn site more ill after that as it reacted immediately.That was in January of 1998.This was just a couple of weeks prior to when he kicked a chair from beneath one of my grandsons, because he dared to leave work, which was late at night, and grabbed him by the head as he fell, and he bashed his head into the wall.He wasn't even 6yrs. old.And this little bastard of a man, is the same one who took and hid, their new born baby, which was by him and my daughter,because she dared to talk to me on the phone, when I called the hospital.That was her punishment. Talking to one's family is not allowed by the Matlands.That is incase they tell outsiders some of the many scams which they are into, or report the many cases of violence, abuse on the children and adults, violations of government money and so on, and don't forget there is the odd fire or two and more.But nobody has died yet, so I suppose that must be OK, as Albany Fire dept., certainly do not want to open that little can of worms yet.I could write another twenty pages of crimes that this thing, called a human being, has done, but hey! this is Albany in Oregon, it must be allowed as they definately know what goes on at Matlands, and do absolutely nothing.Nor have they done since the early 1980's when Matlands moved into Albany.

Now let us focus on Gale Matland,sorry she is calling herself Armstrong at present, (daughter of Maxine) for business purposes, running the two latest thrift shops.She is also a "collector", and I do not mean just furniture and clothing, no, she collects husbands also,six that I have found so far,and not very long ago she tried to collect three extra children.The only thing with that was, they were not hers in the first place, but belonged to a poor young fella who was a single parent and who ended up in one of Matlands many illegal marriages when he and his children had gone to stay at the mission.He to had to escape because of the violence, left his three children behind so that he could find a place, and the only way he could get his children back was to get the Police to rescue them, after they got a writ of assistance.Why does she go through so many spouses? For the same reason as George. Cruelty and violence and fraud.Going back to the early 1970's in California, that is when it was supposed to be at it's worst.

Now let us focus on the cruelist,most evil(in every sense of the word)corrupt, violent,sick, perverted piece of low life scum, that was ever to arise from the bowels of the earth (where I believe it is a hell of a lot warmer than it is in sunny California), namely, as she likes to be called "Pastor Maxine Matland".The "Pastor" bit being a figment of her imagination, and believe me, she has a very good imagination.She really believes she is a pastor. The nearest she is to being called "pastor" is that she is "past her sell by date" Well as a collector, she certainly has had many properties, not so many spouses as her son or daughter, only four that I have found at present, but then she does have the pick of the crop when it comes to men, as many a poor unsuspecting male will tell you who was invited back to the lion's den, (or should I say "ex. govenor's house),from the shelter.It is not the ghosts who roam the corridors in that house, in their sexy lingerie, though I suspect some men would have rather that.But I won't go into the goings on there as that is a whole different chapter altogether.But be warned, if there are baby monitors around, don't utter a word or make a sound as you could be very sorry in the years to come, as are certain men living in Albany today and elswhere.

I do not wish to bore you with any more goings on at this so called, church mission, hell hole or whatever you wish to call it.Just spare a thought and say a prayer for the three children, whose mother is Gale, and for my grandson, George Raymond Matland III,now 9 years old,who have had more cruelty inflicted on them over the years,and who are to terrified to ever tell anyone,and it is all covered up.And regarding my grandson, I have the photos proving it, but don't bother with SCF. Diane Aspengren, Supervisor and the main one, along with the Police over child abuse,actually laughed when I phoned in to see why they covered up the abuse at the mission, as she put me on hold and for nearly ten minutes left me hanging on to the phone whilst laughing at me and talking to her co-workers, knowing I could hear them. Then when I told her that I would report her, she begged me not to do this and promised to help my daughter if her son was abused yet again.And did she help, NO! when the abuse was reported the next time, an SCF worker went out in her car, in the dark and spoke to George Matland and my grandson on the roadside outside the mission.It wasn't burns this time that was reported, nor was it the hard punch in the mouth that split his lip wide open,and him only a toddler, it was a lump on his head.This was also seen by a councillor who happened to be in the local library at the same time as my daughter was having supervised visitation.This was arranged by the court in a case which was FIXED so that she could not attend her own divorce/custody hearing.She did nothing wrong, except by ending up renting an appartment from Matland's and believing that they were real church people and thought that she and her son would be safe.

Both Jason Carlile DA,and a couple of the judges at Linn Co.Courthouse;Diane Aspengren,Peggy Davis and Pat Melius from SCF.and Gin Dennison, Children's Ombudsman and total waste of space,and Edward Daniels Atty.,should hang their heads in shame for what they are covering up in Albany, and Oregon in general,and let us not leave out certain policemen in Albany, because they certainly have a lot to answer for in what they let Matlands get away with because there is a damn site more going on and the public have to be made aware of what is going on under their noses.

The Matlands are so evil that they used to make little George kneel and pray with them that his mother would be killed on the journey to pick him up. That is on the odd occassion that George actually let her see him, and then they would phone the police and accuse her of doing whatever excuse they thought up, and so they would have the police on their doorstep every time that little George saw his mum. She has not been able to see him now for nearly three years and don't think that she can just phone like a normal civilised person would, Matlands scream down the phone or simply put it down, or George yells, "get an attorney". There is absolutely no point in getting one in Oregon, because the case will be "Fixed" yet again.And please do not think that I must be telling you all lies about this family because George sends little George to Private school, to make himself look good, it's not his money that pays for it, it's what the Matlands scam off of the mugs who donate it to the mission.And also this school is only around the corner where the Matlands can keep an eye open to make sure that nobody can get to see little George.And just before I forget, when there was supervised visitation, they used to brainwash little George into believing that my daughter was not his mother and he would tell her that.How much more can that family hurt her? They have pulled every stunt in the book, and I have only touched the surface.

When you who read this is sitting at the table with your family, eating your Christmas dinner and pulling crackers, remember my daughter and her family and how yet again their will be an empty place at her table, because of the cowardly officials who cover up the Matland crimes and are too frightened or too intimidated to bring them to justice.

"God Help Satan". I expect that anybody reading that title would wonder why somebody would say that. You would if you had ever had anything to do with The Signs of Victory Albany Mission and the late Virginia Maxine Matland, and her two evil offspring who have now taken over the mission and it's soup kitchen, homeless person's shelter, three thrift shops and of course their church, which of course is not a church, nor ever was, but hey! one has to say that it was a church so as not to have to pay tax on the properties and that is for the past twenty-five years in Albany alone, plus so as to be able to carry on charging innocent people fees for marriages which are totally illegal.

The reason that I say"God help Satan" is because she has returned to the fold.Boy oh boy, he won't know what has hit him when she starts ranting and raving and screaming at him, the way she did at her children and grandchildren and the poor people who had gone to the shelter for a rest, and food and spiritual nourishment.The only spirits there were the ones that come in bottles (as all three are alcoholics)and the ones who walk the floors at night as their souls cannot rest.

I would like to mention the Democrat Herald here and it's amazing reporters.Amazing, because for all the stories printed about the death of that woman,and the amazing amount of kindness her mission did for people,wouldn't somebody have thought to actually check out the utter tripe that they printed.If one reads back over old articles on the mission, they couldn't even get their own stories right.They know full well that Maxine never, ever was an Ordained minister, nor was George or Gale. Hey People, that was just a scam. You knew full well that you were printing lies.So why print it? I am surprised that the Editor didn't suggest that Oregon declared a Public Holiday for her death.And then the Democrat Herald went on to print more about how the mission will continue, how they want to open another shelter, this time near the sea, and do 705 Lyon St. up and so on.Well, they of course need to keep the mission going, and the three thrift shops and everything else because somebody has to keep George and Gale in the lifestyle to which they have become used to. After all, Gale has just purchased herself a second house, this one being worth over a quarter of a million dollars.That's not bad for a single parent with three kids to support and who runs thrift shops to help the poor and homeless.The profits from that venture must be amazing. Whoops, there goes that word again.

George and Gale have got themselves another aquisition, two more illegal spouses.So not only has Gale purchased two houses in the names of spouses that were never spouses, she has married a fella whose paperwork never even made it to the courthouse, like the spouse just prior to him.It's a pity that somebody doesn't do him and George's wife and kids a favour and tell them that the marriage is illegal and not worth the paper that it is written on.The same as it was for my daughter except she had a child for him and he, and Maxine and Gale made their lives a pure living hell culminating in him giving her poison.You only have to read the articles above to see what other horrific ordeals they suffered at the hands of the Matlands.And not content with having poisoned her, and beaten her middle child's head into a brick wall(that is George that I am referring to)he made her go through a divorce which he fixed so that she could not attend and thus got full custody and carried on right up until last year, terrorising her and her family to the point that she had to move away yet again and is so terrified of him and the Matland clan, that for every time that he did let her see her son, which was very rare as he kept sending the police to her door and other people and did other things on her and prayed with little George and the family that she would get killed on the journey to pick him up, that she has not now seen him for nearly three years in total, because he will track her down again and terrorise them.This is a very dangerous man to know because he keeps track of his ex. spouses so that he feels in control.

And please do not suggest going to the authorities because they know exactly what crimes the Matlands are committing and have committed and will not touch them.The Matlands can get away with any crime in the book on men, women and children and Government and so on, and still not get arrested.So Satan got his little helper back in the fold, one down and two to go.I would almost feel sorry for Satan, because by having this family in his clutches, they can get away with anything, they will probably even rip him off.So if you happen to go to the mission and are ordered to attend their church services, just remember that this family are only in it as a front to ripping you, your families and your food stamps off, and anything else that they can con you out of including your mail if it goes to PO Box 186.Albany.And don't forget all the other scams that they are into.Stay away from The Signs of Victory Albany Mission if you value your families and your health.This place should carry a Government warning as being a health hazard.Sincerely A.Salley.

I think you are in some serious denial. I think you need to understand the fact that your daughters shit does stink. Think of the fact that your daughter was sleeping around on George and toook her son little geaorge gave him a cup and told him to drink out of the mop bucket. I feel your daughter didn't even come close to getting what she deserved but her son sure did. He has a wonderful mother and father who care for him and love him. The Matland's are not perfect but who is. Shou;d we also discuss the fact that your daughter married a registered sex offender and chose him over her little son George are those the kind of people who you want to be around your grandchildren. All I see from you miss firefly are your pathetic excuses for the trash you raised. I am very greatful for signs of victory it saved mine and my childrens lives. Please excuse the spelling of the title, I was just copying it as it was written.I cannot thank you enough for the kind words that you wrote.You obviously are a total coward, otherwise you would have given a name or some contact details.Not only are you a total coward, you must be a total ignoramos to have written the tripe that you have, but more so, to believe what you have written.

If you were at the mission back when my daughter was living there, I would take your letter to contain your views,misguided as they are, but I see that you have to have lived there since after November of 2005, because you mention George's latest aquisition, namely his latest wife, whom you refer to as little George's mother.One she is not George's legal wife and two, she is not George's mother.Just like Kevin Russell is not Gale's latest husband. And if you don't believe me, please feel free to go over to Linn County Courthouse with Kevin, and they will prove it to you.Although in George's case there is a marriage certificate on file, there was no legal marriage as Maxine performed the ceremony and as she was NEVER an ordained minister in the first place, the marriage is and, as was with my daughter and several other of the spouses (who were also under the impression that they were legally married to both George and Gale and Maxine herself,)these are just more pawns in the fraud that this family are involved in.They need the surnames and identities of these people you see.

As for my daughter getting little George to drink out of a mop bucket, are you really so stupid as to believe that, and as for her choosing her husband over little George, you have your facts so totally twisted, that I think that you should seek some psychiatric help, because you are a very gullible fool and not in possession of the real facts.You are just making a laughing stock of yourself, and if I am wrong in saying that I believed you have been asked by the Matlands to write that letter,I would say that their idea just backfired bigtime.

And just before I forget, my daughter just told me to mention to you, that before you go making serious allegations about sex offenders, ask Gale and George about Gale's last pretend husband,to whom she also was never legally married to,and what she allowed him to do with her daughter (the youngest one), and that was not only commonly known by Maxine, George and god knows how many people in the mission, but also elsewhere.You are treading on very dangerous ground and unless you are 100% sure of your facts, I think homelessness will be the very least of your problems, because you are going to need the help of a very good attorney.By condoning what the Matlands have done and are doing,you are no better than they are, and the extent of the crimes that they have been carrying out for so many years.You are just cowering down and doing the Matlands bidding for them.

I do feel very sorry for you.But I am sure that as you feel that you are right, that you won't mind being questioned by the authorities.That of course is if you are not a coward and will give me or them your real name. You have not given your name or any contact details, even though challenged,so you are definately eirther one of the Matlands themselves, or one of their recent guests in their shelter.You say that my daughter did not get what she deserved.Are you therefore saying that George should have pursued what he attempted and continued to poison her until she died? Do you not think that murder is a serious crime? You mentioned that she was cheating on George when she was with him.I wish to God that she had been cheating with other men whilst she was with him, then little George might not have been the son of that manipulating piece of psychotic,redneck trash.Ten wives is an awful lot of women to go through, some only stayed married for days, others a few weeks, my daughter lasted three years, but only because her meals were laced with tablets to keep her from realising why she was really with these people.

You talk also about sex offenders and how she married one.The marriage was never legal as Maxine performed the marriage ceremony. George is not on the register as a sex offender, even though he is a rapist.He is a child abuser also, but do the Police or SCF want to know about that? No! because he is a Matland,but I can produce the people that he attacked?

Do you as a parent (if indeed you really are)condone the fact that George attacked a child, my grandson, and kicked a chair from under him and beat his head into a brick wall, all because he was so tired from working in the Soup Kitchen late at night, (where George, his sister Gale and their evil piece of scum of a pretend pastor Maxine Matland, were all drinking themselves into oblivion, along with people who were staying at the Mission that night, and he was only a small child at the time.Can you honestly agree, with just these few crimes that I have mentioned,that my daughter did not get what she deserved? And you a PARENT!!! She has suffered every day since getting away from that mission and the treatment that she had to go through, from over 150 tumors, stress and fear, never knowing what stunt George or his family were going to pull on her and her family next. Was it not bad enough that they stole her son, because that is what they did.He was the child attacker, and he kept the child, which anybody knowing Oregon law, knows that a man who attacks a child loses custody automatically.But because he is a Matland, the officials in Albany protect him and his evil family from prison time, because there is a hell of a lot more going on there than any of the public seem to realize.Hitler would have learnt a lot from these mobsters, better known as Oregon government officials and SCF.

Do you, you stupid moron, not realize that even without your name or ID, I can get you investigated so as to find out who you are and whose computer your letter was written on, because when I find out your whereabouts I would have no qualms whatsoever about getting SCF and the police to look into your situation,because you have proved yourself, in print, to be a complete imbecile, a parent also, and you condone some of the many serious crimes that the Matlands are and have been, involved in.And I have only mentioned but a few.

My daughter just told me to make absolutely clear to you, that she never gave up her son, she was completely tricked out of getting custody of him , but due to legal circumstances I cannot go more into that at this time, due to matters pending.
