Thriftway Proctor and Gamble Mother's Day Offer

Contact Thriftway Corporate Management to promote companies that don't test their products on animals.
Thriftway is mailing special Mother's Day Proctor and Gamble coupons to customers. Please contact Thriftway management and tell them that instead of being pleased to receive their coupons, you are saddened. Tell them that Proctor and Gamble is a company that still tests its products on animals. Proctor and Gamble refuses to stop testing its products on animals, despite the fact that these tests are not required by any law, and despite the fact that more reliable and humane alternatives do exist. Hundreds of other companies no longer test their products on animals. Ask Thriftway to please promote those companies instead.

convince people to shop local instead 03.May.2005 00:28

buy local

I hate to keep harping on the same point, but there sure are still a lot of progressives giving up their money to the war economy.

If you are shopping at Thriftway, Safeway, Albertsons, Fred Meyer, etc., then you are working against your own self if you value liberty, sustainability, animal rights, and peace. It would do far more to convince those you love to shop at local co-ops, or at the very least a locally owned store chain (Fred Meyer is now owned by Kroger, people) than to get Thriftway to use a coupon promoting a different corporate product.

What do you REALLY need that only can be bought at Thriftway? Nothing!
