Save Cedar Mill - New Website!

Date:
Apr 26, 2005 1:32 PM

Dear Save Cedar Mill team member:

Our new website is up...and we're very excited to tell you about it!

We would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Maurice Troute, a Save Cedar Mill member who has donated his time and his talent to create the site.  He's done a great job and we are all very appreciative of his hard work and dedication.  Hats off to you, Maurice!

In the past few weeks, members have asked for more information about the challenging road that lays ahead of us.  They also wanted to know more about the Save Cedar Mill organization and its leaders.  The new site covers these topics and much more.  Here's a brief overview of what's new:

Home Page
        - Development Process. Learn about the steps Wal-Mart must follow to try to get the store built.
        - Membership Updates.  Read current and past updates to see the progress we're making.
        - Talking Points.  Read & download answers to commonly-asked questions about our group's mission.
        - Contact Us.  Send email directly to the committee chairs.

Register
        - Get more background information about the registration process.

Committees
        - Join a committee with one click.

About Us
        - Get to know your leadership team.

Fundraising
        - Learn about why Save Cedar Mill must raise money and how funds are safeguarded.

Links
        - Read about Wal-Mart from different viewpoints.

Remember: some of you may need to click the "refresh" button on your browser to see the new site.

We highly recommend that you read and download the Talking Points.  They will give you the information you need to directly answer questions about our group, its mission, and about Wal-Mart.  They will also help us all speak with one consistent, unified voice.

As always, we welcome your feedback.  Please send us an email and let us know what you think.

Thank you for your continued support!

Best regards,
Steve Kaufman, Chair
