Some Hunter S. Thompson QUESTIONS
Wednesday, March 2
Thanks to Mack White for bringing this stuff together.

Here are some HST Questions. They do not imply a connection between the players involved. Aspen is a small city, so it is impossible NOT to find connections like this. However, this info exists simply as a reference.

*We do not endorse Guilt By Association in any way. It is more important to follow the money and ask questions, ruling out hypotheses as we go along.

Hypothesis 1: "Counselor" refers to something plus the fact that HST typed it in the middle of the page.

H2: Steve Ayers changed his mind on the role of toxicology.

H3: Prince Bandar has a few people on his payroll.

H4. The Aspen Medical Association is launching a smear campaign against HST in absense of evidence that he was depressed.

Here we go:

*HST, upon his death, had one word typed on a page in his typewriter: "Counselor". What does it mean?.

ASPEN, Colo. -- Hunter S. Thompson's body was found in a chair in the kitchen in front of his typewriter with the word "counselor" typed in the center of the page, according to sheriff's reports.

The word was typed on stationery from the Fourth Amendment Foundation, which was started to defend victims of unwarranted search and seizure, according to reports released Tuesday.

It was not immediately known what, if any, significance the word had to the founder of "gonzo" journalism or to his family.

*The word "Counselor" was not typed as in a typical letter fashion (somewhere on the left side of the page) but in the MIDDLE. Why?

ASPEN, Colo. -- Hunter S. Thompson's body was found seated in a chair in the kitchen in front of his typewriter, where the word "counselor" was typed in the center of a page, according to sheriff's reports.

*HST formed the Fourth Amendment Foundation and even ran for the position of Pitkin County Sheriff.

Aspen Times

Smoky Mountain News

*What or Who could "Counselor" refer to?

Aspen Times

Sheriff deputies and an ambulance responded to a call around 6 p.m. for a self-inflicted gunshot wound at Thompson's residence, a neighbor said. By 6:30 p.m., Thompson's home at 1278 Woody Creek Road was sealed off by a sheriff's van.

Shortly thereafter, a counselor with Aspen Counseling Center, a local organization that provides support for victims at crime scenes, arrived at the residence. An unidentified man leaving the property said "there are a lot of hurt family members up [at the house]."

*WHO WAS THE UNIDENTIFIED MAN? The counselor was from the Aspen Counselling Center.

Aspen Counseling Center

*Here are the names of the Board of Directors and Staff of the Aspen Valley Medical Association. Any names ring a bell?

2004 Governing Board of Directors

*The Aspen Valley Medical Foundation is launching a propaganda campaign to associate HST's "suicide" with mental illness and substance abuse.

*The Coroner in Pitkin County, Steve Ayers did not order a toxicology report on HST as he figures that substance abuse did NOT factor in and is NOT relevant. Why?

*This contradicts something he has stated before:

"Dr. Steve Ayers, an emergency room doctor and Pitkin County coroner, estimated that at least 50 percent of the trauma cases - murders, suicides, injuries from car wrecks and other similar events - are drug or alcohol related. That number has always been significant, but more patients are being admitted via the emergency room for problems created by drug or alcohol use, he said.

*Who is this Steve Ayers, and why did he change his opinion on toxicology ?

*As late as 2001, Ayers was just an Emergency room specialist.

*Prince Bandar and the Aspen Medical Foundation have a cozy relationship. What if we follow the money?

1998: Level III Trauma Center at Aspen Valley Hospital is renovated thanks to a generous gift from HRH Prince Bandar.

His $325,000 donation to Aspen Valley Medical Foundation helped fund construction of a new trauma center at Aspen Valley Hospital, said Kris Marsh, foundation president. He also gave $500,000 to the foundation for a CAT scanner several years ago, she said.

I take it all back! After the obvious attempted murder of that Italian journalist by U.S. troops in Iraq, maybe Hunter S. Thompson WAS offed. I'm still stunned at how NBC News has tried to justify it as a "mistake" on the Italian's part. Remember when we bombed the hotel full of journalists during "shock & awe"? How many 'coincidences' do you need?

You certainly are... 19.Sep.2005 02:14

You damn sure are...

Now read The Raw Story...

"Counselor" - very logical indeed...
