Mystics ask dangerous questions

Hunter S. Thomson was asking questions and finding the connections between Bush and Osama Bin Laden when he died.
I met an odd old man yesterday. He said he worked on documentaries. He also asked leading questions like, "Do you know the difference between a mystic and a madman?" I replied I wasn't sure what he meant. He said, "The mystic swims where the madman drowns."
In other words some people can make order out of chaos. Situations that depress the hell out of the average person are a challenge to a mystic.
The man went on to say he knew Hunter S. Thomson and had even talked with him not to long ago. Hunter was working on a story about the relationship between George W. Bush and Osama Bin Laden. Many people are aware the Bin Ladens and the Bush family have been friends. Hunter had managed to get a picture of George W. Bush and Osama Bin Laden taken in Saudi Arabia when they where both children.
Hunter was a tenacious investigator. He was not intimidated by the rightwing hate mongers. When Hunter bit into a story he thrived on the chase, and he was working on a whopper when he supposedly killed himself.
Asking dangerous questions was a way of life for Hunter S. Thomson.

get over it

Can't you people let a guy rest in peace?

Yeah, 27.Feb.2005 11:24

.

Get over it.
Don't you know he's DEAD?
Rule #6543 clearly states that we can't analyze what the context of someone's death was.
Because Hunter won't rest in peace if we're all talking about him and what he might have been working on before he died, right? Just read a single page of any of his writing and it's clear this was a fragile, sensitive soul who would have cringed at the very thought of the above posting! Have a heart, please.
So just drink some warm milk and rest up for your nap, Man on the Street. Don't you worry about those monsters out there destroying the world - It was probably just the wind anyway......

According to an artilce I read in the mainstream media 27.Feb.2005 12:47

March Hare

Gonzo's son was surprised at the "timing" of the suicide. In other words Mr. Thompson didn't show any red flag symptoms of a suicidal person. Given that most suicidal persons suffer from depression, I don't think Hunter would want us to give up the chase. I don't think his soul will be laid to rest unless the whole truth is known.

Here is another story Hunter was working on 27.Feb.2005 15:09

Sherman SkolnicK:Was Hunter Thompson Suicided? Sherman Skolnick has addressed this issue Monday, 2/21, on Jeff Rense's show,www.rense.com, & Tuesday, 2/22, on his own Cloak‡ show, www.cloakanddagger.ca, as well.

Skolnick reports that Thompson was working on an expose of the homosexual pedophile underground which permeates the MSM, Washington, DC, & BOTH political parties, a la the Franklin Coverup scandal of the 80's & 90's.

The danger of the Jeff Gannon scandal becoming the next dot to connect the BusShes to Franklin is causing panic among the MSM & DC, according to Skolnick.

safe questions for Man on the Street 27.Feb.2005 18:13

Converse Murdoch umlaut@idir.net

Hearsay from an anonymous source is not very convincing.

Where were you when you met this old man ? Did you run into him in line at the supermarket, or did a limo pull up along side you and the guy got out and started telling you this, or what ?
Do you know his name or the name of any documentaries he worked on ?
Did he give you any verifiable information such as the whereabouts of this picture of Bush and Osama ?
Did he say he actually saw it or did he just hear about it ?
Do you think this old man actually knew Thompson ? If so, why ?

This sounds plausible but your lack of specific verifiable details makes it useless.
