I don 't want to drive to Portland, but will carpool with people if they want.

ANTI-INAUGURATION PROTEST AND MARCH

SPEAKER, MUSIC, AND COMMUNITY

Please bring any POEMS, SPEACHES, or SIGNS
Everyone is invited to say whats on their minds.

Lets join together as a community and tell Mr. Bush
that WE DO NOT ACCEPT HIM AS OUR PRESIDENT!
     
This event is being organized by local youth but
everyone is invited. No matter our individual
differences of opinion, we can all come together to
empower eachother through our solidarity in a belief
that Bush is not/should not be a world leader. We must
keep opposing this admninistrations bad policies, but
we can only do that if we come together as a
community.

I live in a rural area not far from pdx, and am organizing out here. There's often a stereotype that people in rural areas don't care about this stuff, or that they're all conservative cow-pokes or something. No way. As you and I know, those of us who live closest to the earth understand more than anyone how much we need to resist. If we want to save the earth we live on, we must rise up.

I know there are environmental groups, and I guess there is going to be some kind of march, but I haven't heard much.
