It's A Draw 07.Jan.2005 13:12

alsis38 alsis35@yahoo.com

Although Kerry should get a slight edge, on account of the fact that he had the most history to learn from, and yet he didn't. :p

Additional points to Dukakis, who discovered in 1999 that he had emotions, just in time to joke on the air that Nader "should be killed." :p :p

The most pathetic man in America is Doug Lenat of Cycorp. 07.Jan.2005 14:26

That's What Happens 07.Jan.2005 14:28

Den Mark, Vancouver

That's what happens with people who don't stand for anything in particular, except their own ambitions, of course. Did i read somewhere correctly that the democrats asked mcaulliff (sp?) to continue as party "leader", or whatever? If so, it looks like democrats intend to lose in '08, too. Well, it's nice to have plans, isn't it.

they were challengers? 07.Jan.2005 15:06

U. Sam

I thought they were the ones selected to throw their elections, not challenge them?

As far as actors, Kerry was the best. He really deserves an academy award for his portrayal of an American in "going up river". I was truely convinced kerry had a soul, jokes on me, although he would be nominated against bush for his excellent performance in farenheit 9/11. I really thought bush feared for the children when he sat there like a deer in the headlights. Now THAT was convincing, I don't know who else could of sat their with no emotion and puzzled look, knowing that an attack on America was underway. 5 star performance!

Let's make them both two time winners! Kerry: best actor, Bush: best supporting actor...Great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, grandfather Reade must be proud.

Mistletoe Angel

Definitely Dukakis.

They Are All Invisible 07.Jan.2005 16:36

Framboise

What do you expect from someone with both "Doo" and "KaKa" in his name? A shitty performance.

Kerry Couldn't Help! Why? 07.Jan.2005 16:41

Remember what he said about viet nam?

How can you ask someone to be the last person to die for a mistake?

He doesn't want the job and you can't blame him. Let Bush clean up his own
mess. Kerry doesn't want to be the president to reinstate the draft, and you
can't blame him.

Then he would be doing just what he found abhorrid in viet nam.

Don't be too hard on Kerry......after all he actually won in Florida, New Mexico,
AND Ohio.

If He Didn't Want The Job... 07.Jan.2005 16:53

alsis38 alsis35@yahoo.com

...he should've left his sorry ass parked in the Senate, and let someone else run. Asshole.

Where Was Kucinich? 07.Jan.2005 17:53

Harmony

I find it curious that nobody has asked whether Dennis Kucinich voted against the protest or abstained. He obviously didn't vote to support it. Where was he?

Where was Kucinich? He was right there! 07.Jan.2005 18:56

Colby

He spoke on the House floor during the debate, and he voted to support the objection to the Ohio electoral votes. They have been replaying the debates on C-Span 1 and 2. Keep an eye out for it - he shows up about 45 minutes in.

Here is who voted what: 07.Jan.2005 18:59

People that belive that we have a democracy! 07.Jan.2005 19:49

Bird Dog

When your being played like a ping pong ball.

Why would you choose either side.

Our news media reports about the voter fraud in the Ukraine, but not a word about our own.

This is why we need to dump both the republicrat and demican partys and go with Nader or the green party.

And make sure to keep track of all the rats jumping ship when they see that the gig is up!

This needs to start now, not when it too late do any good!

Why the hell would anyone take a bet on the flip of a coin that is corrupt.

Green or Nader 08.Jan.2005 00:57

ChrisPDX
