101 Suppliers To HLS GONE in 1 Year!!!!!!!!

101 Suppliers gone & and still counting!

Christmas came early for campaigners against Huntingdon Life Sciences
with the extra special present of having surpassed our target of
shifting 100 suppliers to Huntingdon Life Sciences. In one day alone four courier companies gave promises never to deliver to this animal torture hellhole. The targets in our last few action alerts have all pulled out - so yet again we thank everyone who did their bit to contact these companies and explain to them why having HLS as a client is bad for businesses.
By any standard, we have done phenomenally well this year. The struggle
to close HLS grew much harder as now we have to face down a government
trying to justify its promises to the corrupt pharmaceutical industry.
Yet we have constantly shown ourselves equal to the challenge. The role
of people taking part in these action alerts have been a significant
part of this success.

For those who doubt that we are being effective, we can let you know
that the managing director of Huntingdon Life Sciences, Brian Cass,
several times rang up the head of Marken, a courier company specialising in
logistics for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, and begged
Marken to continue to deliver to HLS. Cass offered to pay Marken what
every they asked if they would continue to deal with Huntingdon Life
Sciences.

Marken politely told them to get lost!

How utterly humbling for a company that once upon a time was worth £500
million! How pathetic it must look to their customers that they have so
much problems passing on paperwork and chemical to this company. This
paperwork and chemicals are responsible for the cruel and sickening
deaths of hundreds of animals inside HLS every day.

HLS continually exposed flouting of the Good Laboratory Practice and
other regulations only shows that it is the breeding ground of future
lethal drugs which will kill in the hundreds and thousands each year. This
company is responsible for so much blood, agony and heartbreak, that it
is our duty to do everything in our power to shut it down, regardless
of the corrupt promises of a government determined to mock democracy and
change laws to suppress legitimate protest to protect sick corporations
instead of respecting the people.

Sorry, Blair, Blunkett and Sainsbury - we will not go away that easy;
rather it will be HLS that you will have to say goodbye to. We are
looking forward to another exciting year in 2005 - we bet HLS are not!

So lets give HLS an extra special present to see out this year by
shifting yet more suppliers. Below are more companies profiting from animals
dying in pain inside of HLS. Please contact them politely and remind
them just were the profits they are making from Huntingdon Life Sciences
are coming from.

These folks are amazing! The anti-war movement should get a clue and try some new tactics.
