Republican reFRAMES Importance of ALL Citizens Defending The Vote=Democracy

Brilliant essay from understanding Computer expert whose honest
assesment and 'framing' of the Arguments for the 'Franchise', the
Sanctity of the Vote, protection of the 'Ultimate Commons', the
Equal Right to Vote, a concern for the integrity of a 'survey' that
respects the will of the American Voter. Voting trust is the most
basic, parlimentary way to petition OUR government for a 'redress
of grievances' This writer states: "Since the only thing that holds
our Representatives accountable to
us is the power of our votes, if that disappears, so does their
accountability. The incredible power of our American nation
is contained solely within the American people's votes, and by not
returning that power to us they are able to quite literally Rule
the World." Though he says Democrats, vote protectors and fraud
pursuers are missing the oppurtunity to build broad non-partisan
support, because, "You are missing the point
when you describe the problem as "Bush stole the election from
Kerry", and Republicans are simply not going to get on board with
that." (continued)....
USE yr. Light
USE yr. Light
....He cares about the pure essence of Representative
Democracy,a security expert who is concerned about the voting
infrastructure controlled by machines that "have been designed
SPECIFICALLY to allow fraud then prevent it!" Republicans have been
timid & blind so far because, "The reason that we Republicans
haven't seen it stems from the fact
that it is not as obvious to us Republicans as it is the Democrats,
since the pendulum of power moved in the way we wanted it to.
We're less likely to see the problem, since we tried to push the
pendulum to the right, and the pendulum dutifully moved to the
right. What we're missing is the fact that maybe WE didn't move it
any more than a surfer moves the wave he rides in on by pointing
his board towards the beach." I agree, THE NATION, THE FRANCHISE
WOULD BE BETTER SERVED AND SAVED BY FRAMING THE DILEMNA AS SO: "
The problem is not that John Kerry lost the election. That is
just a SYMPTOM of the real problem, which is that the electorate
may not be under the control of the American people. We need to
re-frame this debate under different terms that EVERY American can
understand and support. There appears that there was definitely a
grab for power, but it
was not the Republicans stealing power from the Democrats. If it
happened, then a small group of Republicans stole the power from
the American People as a whole."ALERT: "The great unknown right
now is whether we still have enough
power left to get it back,Ask yourself if we can ever come together
and really make the
world a better place if we keep following the path that we're on."
VOTING is the barometer of The Peoples, goals, aspirations, Dreams,
the path We SEEK!
STEAL Our Vote? STEAL OUR Future!

***Empathy Training for Compassionate Conservatives: Why the
Democrats Are Still Whining About the Election (and Why Maybe We
Should Be, Too) by Chuck Herrin- American, Voter, Republican - In That Order

(snippets)

I was talking to a dear friend of mine yesterday, and he asked me
what I had been up to. "This voting machine security thing" I told
him. "It looks really bad. I can't believe how insecure these
systems are and how easy they would be to Hack."

He chuckled and said to me, very sincerely, "Well, just as long as
they go Republican, right? Heh, heh."

There was an awkward moment of silence as I processed that.

*Now, I have always been a Republican and consider myself a
reasonably bright person, but what I can't understand is the
differences in the answer to what I think is a very simple question:

"If voter fraud is committed on behalf of your party, does the fact
that your party benefited from it make it OK?"

*What happens when the results of a corrupt voting system DON'T go
your way? What's going to happen when your side DOESN'T win? Will
you be able to put the fact that our system is so easily
manipulated behind you and just "get over it"?

As an American Voter, charged with the solemn duty of electing the
most powerful leaders in history, SHOULD you be able to?

Some other people are less disinterested and are more focused on
actively attempting to discredit those who are concerned about the
huge weaknesses in our Voting Infrastructure. For the life of me,
I just CANNOT figure out why ANY Honest person would resist efforts
to ensure that our voting system is secure and provides vote
integrity.

Now as for a DIShonest person, that's another matter. I can figure
THAT out just fine. More on that later.

*The simple fact is this: We can not have any sort of a real
Democracy when our voting infrastructure is weak and corrupt. The
only people who can win are the people who count the votes, and the
people who actually cast the votes have no say at all. This has
been known for quite some time, and in fact Josef Stalin weighed in
on the issue a while back when he said:

"Those who cast the votes decide nothing. Those who count the
votes decide everything."

*What if this company's Vote Tabulation Software were so poorly
designed that any Democratic election official, poll worker,
company insider, or Hacker activist could easily add, modify, or
delete hundreds of thousands of votes using Microsoft Office
without leaving a trace? What if the company knew about people
changing the votes database using this back door, and their own
internal memos reveal that they know about elections officials in
at least one county being "Famous for it"? And even though this
company makes ATM machines, they say it's too difficult to make
their voting machines "reliably" produce a paper trail? This makes
a full recount virtually impossible - would you accept that? What
if there were a Democratic Congressman from New York caught on
video with President Kerry before the results came in on election
day, saying "It's over! The election's over - we won. It's all
over but the counting, and we'll take care of the counting."

What if, given this voting system, John Kerry suddenly snatched
victory from the jaws of defeat, although the exit polls and
numerous other indicators predicted a strong victory for President
Bush? What if every single reported voting irregularity shows
gains for John Kerry? Every single one, including districts in
Ohio with 119% voter turnout suddenly favoring Kerry. And when
voting activists ask for Freedom of Information Act requests from
Volusia county, FL, they wind up finding the signed, dated
information they requested in the trash outside the building, while
the information they were given was unsigned and dated November 15?

*Would you be upset, or would you just "get over it" and fall into
line behind your new "leader"?

Given what you now know, does the fact that people are questioning
the results of the election sound a little more reasonable than it
did a few minutes ago?

*Honestly, before this information about our voting system was
presented to you, were you dismissing the people who tried to bring
up the subject of Election Fraud as "wack-jobs", "whiners", or
"sore losers"? It's OK. That HAS been our Party Line. Again, it
doesn't make you a Bad Person to support your party, and this
information hasn't exactly been on the Front Page. But now that
you know about it and hopefully have verified the facts yourself,
what you decide to do now is how history and your children will
remember what kind of person you really were.

* I know that eventually my fellow Republicans will do the right
thing and help to fix this flawed system, but to this point our
partisan politics have been blinding us decent conservative
Americans and preventing us from doing the right thing. I know
that once you see it, you, my fellow Republicans, will stand with
me and help us to fix this. I just know you'll do the right
thing...but I do have to admit that so far, the silence from the
Right has been deafening. Republicans have resisted listening to
the Democrat's questions, and I think I know why.

So far, the Democrats have been asking the wrong questions:

*Here's a quote from my open letter to the Democrats:

"It wouldn't matter if George Bush bit the head off a puppy in
front of the UN - Republicans are not going to join in your fight
to overturn the election and inaugurate John Kerry. Conservatives
don't want Kerry in office. For all of the reasons listed above,
plus a heavy dose of fear of Liberalism, most Conservatives will
not embrace the cause if the goal is to put Kerry in office,
regardless if there was fraud committed. You are missing the point
when you describe the problem as "Bush stole the election from
Kerry", and Republicans are simply not going to get on board with
that."

Was the election stolen? So what do we do?

*We need to take a look at the REAL problem and re-frame the issue.
The problem is not that John Kerry lost the election. That is
just a SYMPTOM of the real problem, which is that the electorate
may not be under the control of the American people. We need to
re-frame this debate under different terms that EVERY American can
understand and support.

There appears that there was definitely a grab for power, but it
was not the Republicans stealing power from the Democrats. If it
happened, then a small group of Republicans stole the power from
the American People as a whole.

*The reason that we Republicans haven't seen it stems from the fact
that it is not as obvious to us Republicans as it is the Democrats,
since the pendulum of power moved in the way we wanted it to.
We're less likely to see the problem, since we tried to push the
pendulum to the right, and the pendulum dutifully moved to the
right. What we're missing is the fact that maybe WE didn't move it
any more than a surfer moves the wave he rides in on by pointing
his board towards the beach. Just because we pointed our board
that way doesn't mean that we're the ones controlling the tide.
What if we're not in charge anymore, but most of us don't really
know it yet? Instead, we're a lot like a dog sticking his head out
of a pickup truck's window - he feels like the fastest dog in the
world, never realizing that he's not the one pushing himself so
quickly through the wind. This allows us to make out like bandits
in the short term, since our goals are at least temporarily aligned
with those actually providing the motion. For now, we can ride
happily along, wind whipping through our ears, feeling great and in
control. The problems don't start until we try to get out of the
truck, or worse, cross the street in front of it. Then it becomes
painfully obvious who really has the power, versus who was just
along for the ride.

One of the great and fundamental aspects of our Democracy is that
the pendulum of power is designed to swing back and forth, with
each party having control for a while, and then after a while
control changes as the pendulum swings the other direction, pushed
by the will of the American Voter. Think about it - Carter, then
Reagan / Bush, then Clinton, and then Bush, and then by most
accounts, the pendulum was apparently supposed to swing to Kerry.
But it didn't. Why? What if rather than the will of the American
voter driving the direction of the pendulum, a small group has
figured out how to keep the pendulum from moving away from them and
towards the opposition. I'm going to quote Stalin again, since
apparently a small group of people figured out that what he said so
long ago really is true - "Those who cast the votes decide nothing.
Those who count the votes decide everything". The cold cunning
behind those words gives me chills sometimes.

*NeoCons call "Check" on Democracy - Mate in Four?

Since the only thing that holds our Representatives accountable to
us is the power of our votes, if that disappears, so does their
accountability. Why do you think that Karl Rove is predicting a
Republican Dynasty for the next 40 years? Because he may have
figured out how to freeze the pendulum of power, and he thinks that
we are either a) too stupid to see the massive consolidation of
power into the hands of a mighty few, or b) too weak and divided to
do anything about it.The incredible power of our American nation
is contained solely within the American people's votes, and by not
returning that power to us they are able to quite literally Rule
the World.
The world has never seen a group as powerful as those
in control right now, and to think that they are operating with
nearly total impunity should frighten all of us to the very core of
our beings.

This power is not rightfully theirs, however. It is ours, and they
are supposed to borrow it for 2, 4, or 6 years (depending on their
office) so that they can represent us and our interests. When that
time is up, the system is designed to return that power to us, and
then WE decide whether to give it back to that same person or give
it to someone else who we think will do a better job. But here's
the new twist; what happens if they simply decide not to give that
power back? Who are they accountable to then? In that case, they
are accountable to no one but themselves, and what the American
Public wants does not matter anymore. Our interests are
irrelevant, and they are free to do what they want with our power,
our money, our Armed Forces, and our lives.

Yes, it appears that the pieces are in place to steal a great deal
of power, but not from the Democrats. It will be (or has been)
stolen from ALL of us, and that is what the American people need to
know. The great unknown right now is whether we still have enough
power left to get it back, and it is critical for the survival of
our Country that we do everything possible with the power that we
still have within ourselves to try and do so.

*Ask yourself if we can ever come together and really make the
world a better place if we keep following the path that we're on.
Based on what you find in your research, ask yourself "if our votes
haven't been stolen yet, do you have any reason to believe that
they won't be?" It's not going to cost you anything, and nobody
will think less of you afterward regardless of what you decide, as
long as you have an informed opinion. Just stop and think about it
for a minute, and then decide what would be the right thing for you
to do, not as a Republican, not as a Democrat, but as an American
Citizen.

Then, just take the next logical step, and do it.

you republicans--actual Americans, I mean--had your party taken over first. It is presently the American Nazi Dominionist party. See this link. Do you really support this? This what goes by the name of Republican now.

I would have categorized this as having so many other ramifications I though it worthwhile to mention this point here: this political lobby is seriously rewiring the whole formal institutional and formal policy output on these following levels as well:

anti-racism --- economic justice --- education --- election fraud [they simply don't care. This is a technique they are using to gain power, besides, "Christianity and democracy are at odds with one another," so they claim--one quote from the films.] --- environment --- gender & sexuality --- genetic engineering --- government

10 Points Why the Right Should Reject Bush
author: me
are they unable to see the devil staring right at them?

Why the Right Should Reject Bush

1. FAILS TO SUPPORT TROOPS:

a. troops report being given substandard equipment and lack of equipment when that is given;
b. troops are being used as governmental guinea-pigs in untested vaccines—vaccines sales enrich Bush Family;
c. Bush Senior did the same in Gulf War I: he personally made money off untested vaccines forcibly given to troops which left many troops incapacitated or dead—though Bush was richer. How many times is the Right going to be fooled by the Bush family?
d. Lied about the threat to the USA from Saddam: Bush attacks Iraq, killing gullible US troops, simply to enrich himself and his friends in oil contracts.
e. In short, he is murdering you, and you are asking for more? How gullible are you? Do you like being this gullible? Do you enjoy being lied to? Do you enjoy being manipulated?

2. UNCHRISTIAN / DRUG DEALING FAMILY / IMMORAL

a. political advisors for two generations have read Machiavelli's The Prince as the key to winning political power. This book recommends you lie to people to get power, particularly lying about a totally fictive religious background. The book recommends you use impious imposturing to gain gullible supporters.
b. Bush family are drug dealers. The Bush family has been the main drug dealing family of the United States for 30 or more years, through its CIA connections. Read book Dark Alliance.
c. Bush family and immoral Clinton family are good friends. Hillary Clinton, with George H. W. Bush, supplied illegal armaments to Iraq in the 1980s through Bush connected corporation LaFarge. Bill Clinton protected and sponsored Bush Senior's illegal CIA cocaine-for-armaments drop off stations. The main airports for this illegal Bush family operation were Arkansas, when Clinton was Governor of that state. Bush family and Clinton families are the same group of drug traders and cover up artists for over 30 years.
d. In 1989, George H. W. Bush and his son are pedophiles. George H. W. Bush was president when the story broke about pedophile 'call boys' being escorted through the White House in special midnight tours. [ The Washington Times] George W. Bush has been involved in similar shenanigans. Cathy O'Brien, ex-CIA, can vouch for George H. W. Bush being a pedophile. Her daughter was Bush's regular victim. [find her book Tranceformation of America and DeCamp's book The Franklin Cover-Up.]
e. Both George H. W. Bush and his son George W. Bush are Luciferians. They are members of the Yale University secret society club, known as 'Skull and Bones.' It's more official name is the "Brotherhood of Death" or "The Order," a male homosexual anti-Christian occult worshipping group that infests high politics in the United States. Skull and Bones, or the Brotherhood of Death, is Luciferian in its outlook. By the way John Kerry is Luciferian as well and a member of Skull and Bones.
f. George W. Bush had his cocaine possession charge stripped off his record. [ book: Fortunate Son ]. Other people serve jail time for this of course.
g. The Bush family has Mafia connections [find book: The Mafia, CIA, and George Bush ]. They looted your local savings and loans businesses in the 1980s.
h. Despite all the pandering about opposition to homosexual marriages, Bush and his father, as part of Skull and Bones initiation, were required to commit sodomy with their Skull and Bones 'brothers.' This was done in a coffin. And involved nude mud wrestling. According to Sherman Skolnick, he still regularly meets with his 'butt-buddy' from "Bones," Knoxville Mayor Victor Ashe. Even Social Security members—who you would think had seen it all—have quit over Bush/Ashe open homoerotic behavior: they are tired of covering up and protecting them. They are disgusted. [www.skolnicksreport.com]. And see (d) above.

3. GLOBALIST / ELITIST / ANTI-DEMOCRACY / ANTI-REPUBLICAN / NAZI

a. According to Republican Presidential "9-11 Truth" Candidate, John Loftus, George W. Bush's grandfather was the #1 American Nazi money launderer in WWII. He has the Library of Congress documentation. This was Prescott Bush, who was arrested under the Trading with the Enemy Act in 1941 and his assets were seized. Bush comes from a Nazi sympathizing Wall Street family. Look up his campaign, John Loftus '04, on the web and find out more. If you want to vote Republican and hate Bush because he is a parasitical liar, vote Loftus.
b. Bush Senior was appointed Representative for the United Nations, in 1970, by Rockefeller supported candidate Richard Nixon. Bush Senior went to China to organize some of the Chinese opium trades to the US.
c. Bush Senior was responsible for bringing in WWII European Nazi's into the "ethnic wing" of the US's Republican Party. Literal ex-Nazis were standing on the platform with Bush Senior in 1988 as he was being sworn "to protect the Constitution" in 1988. Yeah, right...
d. For 50 years, Bush Senior's CIA connections have supported the destruction of democracies and republics and ushered in military coups, secret governments, and state terror in other countries. Is the US next?
e. Is the Bush military stand down during the 9-11 attacks our American "Reichstag Fire" (which ushered Hitler to power in Germany)?
f. Bush has supported and passed both "Patriot I" and (in little pieces "Patriot II." Bush has removed your Bill of Rights, setting up further federal tyranny for the future against you. There is nothing more unpatriotic than this legislation, which should be repealed. Plus, it is unconstitutional.
g. According to the respected Burke's Peerage (the official British record of aristocratic weddings and lineages), the Bush family is related to English Royalty—the relations go all the way back to King Edward III in the 1300s. Tall lanky Edward III even looks like the gaunt George H. W. Bush. Edward III started pre-emptive wars without any cause, helping to bankrupt England in that period. The Bush family is a total globalist parasite on our body politic—and it has been on other states in the past.

4. PRO GUN-CONTROL

a. George W. Bush has come out as being pro gun-control. So was his father.

5. PRO BIG GOVERNMENT:

a. George W. Bush oversaw biggest expansion of federal government in history, consolidating over 30 separate departments and adding more federal bureaucracy and federal budgets.
b. He still wants to remove one of the last bastions of republican government protections, the 'posse commutatus' protections (which means keeping federal military out of local police work).
c. Destroyed the Bill of Rights he swore to protect.

6. TAX AND SPEND, WITHOUT TAXES = DEBT FOR YOUR CHILDREN

a. To fund his federal supremacy agenda, he has indebted the United States more than his father did.
b. Furthermore, he wants to take away your children's and parents Social Security (or your social security!) to fund his friend's corporations.
c. Takes taxes away... from the super rich... while actually expanding them for the working poor and the middle class. YOU pay for Bush's high life. Take the rich off federal welfare, like Bush.

7. MANIPULATES PATRIOTISM / LIES ABOUT HIS MILTARY CAREER / A.W.O.L. HISTORY

a. George H. W. Bush claims to be a WWII flying ace who had to bail out once his plane caught fire over the Pacific Ocean. Actually according to other WWII pilots in the area, there was nothing in the way of danger, pilot Bush Senior only panicked and bailed out without cause, leaving his crew in the plane to die when it crashed into the water. Bush Senior however was saved and later ghostwritten books were made to talk about his 'patriotism.' Bush Senior only went into the Navy in the first place because his father was taking heat about being unpatriotic and supporting the Nazis during WWII. Bush Senior's father funneled money to support the German Reich. (see 3a)
b. And Bush Senior's son is carrying on the tradition... of lying that is. George W. Bush is actually AWOL from the Air National Guard. Plus to get into the Guard he scored a 26 out of 100 on the entrance test, he was still put ahead of other's more capable because of his family connections.
c. There has been lots of flack out there about a fake 'military president' who actually comes from a East Coast New England banker family and a coward's family, whose eldest son went AWOL, and whose grandfather money laundered and profited in WWII supporting the Nazis. That means the Bush family profited on killing US troops.
d. Bush's 1970s AWOL from the Guard was likely the result of novel 1970s tests the Air Force started requiring of all pilots during Bush's training: these tests were blood sample based drug tests. (see 2f)
e. The only rationale for Bush's family liking to go to war is that they make money when soldiers die--unimportant whose soldiers they use for the operation. They are for three generations complete amoral war profiteers in WWI, WWII, Gulf War, and Gulf War II. [ Kevin Phillip's _American Dynasty_ ]

8. HIS COLLEGE YEARS WERE WASTED

a. Bush claims he has an undergraduate degree from Yale University. However, Bush actually failed the entrance examination, and was only pulled in on his father's connections.
b. Bush's claim to fame at Yale was that he was a male cheerleader.

9. SUPPORTS UNVERIFED ELECTRONIC VOTING MACHINES

a. Can you guess why?

10. IS IN DEEP WITH JOHN KERRY: KERRY IS SKULL & BONES AS WELL. SMALL WORLD. AVOID BOTH LIARS. THERE ARE OTHER CANDIDATES OUT THERE WHO ARE REPUBLICAN AND LIBERTARIAN. FIND OUT ABOUT THEM.

a. Kerry covered up for Bush family crimes in the past, like keeping under wraps their BCCI 'terrorist bank' connections in the 1980s to the Bush family, which slightly is coming out in
the recent book _House of Bush, House of Saud_.

I am a conservative. I have always been one. Bush is NOT a conservative, he is something else, something scary.

As a conservative member of our voting republic, I will vote for Kerry, who also is no conservative. He is, however, closer to being a conservative than mister "I like to write $5,000,0000,0000,000 in hot checks" Bush. That is a lot of zeros.

So, Indymedia folks, will you welcome a conservative, old, military verteran, lousy typist, technophobe to your ranks? I would like to join you.

I'm a stranger here myself. Somehow I doubt that you are what *I* would call a conservative. I'd be interested in hearing your definition of the term.

Definitions of terms seem to get lost here -- left-right is equated too often with Democrat-Republican or liberal-conservative. Or maybe I did too much philosophy long ago: "Well, first we must define our terms..."

Kerry should simply stand up, at every stump speech, and say: "The President of the United States is a stupid little man. A stupid... little... man." Get the audience chanting that phrase, then sit down.

Nothing more would be necessary. Because it's irrefutably true.

Living tradition is the life-blood of conservatism, but what has happened to it? 23.Apr.2004 11:44
politics as possible link

Some famous conservative -- I forget who -- said, "When goods cross borders, soldiers will." Such things used to be understood by conservatives. The very idea of conservatism --- "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" --- has been lost since all conservative principles were sold out by Bob Dole signing on to the Clinton-negotiated NAFTA and GATT "agreements." The slogan of the neocons is "If it ain't broke, BREAK it!" Another thing about the true conservatives was that they valued personal honor over party loyalty. Thus, Barry Goldwater's rude awakening to Richard Nixon when Nixon was sounding Goldwater on the question of impeachment over Watergate; Goldwater famously said, "Frankly, Mr. President, I'm leaning that way myself." Shortly thereafter, Nixon resigned. But there are few if any such conservatives left in the Republican Party leadership or among Republican office-holders.

A problem is that -- now that the Republican Party National Committee (with the help of their paid agent, Pat Buchanan) has destroyed the Reform Party -- where can a true conservative go, once disabused of illusions about the Republican Party? Possibly to Nader, who is attempting the delicate balancing act of appealing to the marginal Right and the marginal Left at the same time. Alternatively, Kerry's move toward the "center" will probably be somewhat successful in attracting their votes. (At least, that's the strategy.)

But an underlying and greater problem remains in that there is no longer a two-party system as it once functioned to stabilize and protect a kind of popular liberal-moderate-conservative consensus and there is also no longer any commonly understood consensual reality or tradition. To a great extent, this situation has been fostered over many years by two converging forces: (A) the ersatz conservatism (really neo-liberalism) that can be seen at its best in the pages of Buckley's NATIONAL REVIEW and at its most ridiculous in the "it's all the fault of the 'liberals', you know" preaching of Rush Limbaugh; AND, (B) the so-called "Christian Right." The objective of those who have managed this paradigm shift away from the old liberal-conservative "mainstream" has been to destroy the center -- in what really must be seen as a "post-modern" or "de-constructionist" phenomenon. Conservatism instinctively moves toward a center, wanting to perpetuate what has been worked out over time and by many generations rather than rely on any theoretical system (be it Marxist or Libertarian) to lead the way to some promised social paradise: when the center has been systematically destroyed, true conservatives are lost in a wilderness without a compass.

Tradition is the life-blood of conservatism. But any attempt at "tradition" today must be trumped up and sustained on a kind of life-support system of corporate media and GOP spin --- and the result is a paper-thin ersatz jingo-ism at best. Thus we have the paper tiger of SuperAmerica, complete with runaway corruption undermining the U.S. troops in Iraq while the Republican House leadership uses its enlarged leadership powers to kill Senator Leahy's proposed "War Profiteering Act". Whither the true conservative in such a landscape? Probably, given sufficient assets and independence, to Canada --- following the Tory exodus in the post-Revolutionary War period.
