Judge rules Ohio recount will go forward in all counties

A federal judge ruled today that the recount will go forward in ALL Ohio counties.
Green Party presidential candidate David Cobb today expressed
his satisfaction with a ruling by a federal judge taking jurisdiction over a
Delaware County, Ohio lawsuit and denying the county's attempt to stop the
recount of presidential ballots in that county.

"We are very pleased that the judge recognized our right to a
recount and that the recount will go forward in each and every county in
Ohio," said Cobb.

The judge also provisionally granted the motion by the
Kerry-Edwards campaign to intervene in the lawsuit in defense of the
position of Cobb and Libertarian Michael Badnarik.

Although the judge did not agree with Cobb that the recount
should proceed on an expedited basis, the Cobb campaign is confident that a
full and complete recount will take place.

For more information about the Cobb-LaMarche campaign and its
recount efforts in Ohio and New Mexico, see  http://www.votecobb.org.

Cobb is asking for volunteers to help in the recounts of Ohio and New Mexico. See votecobb.org

Dude

Its great the federal Justice decided that ohio will count the vote.

All day I have been hearing about Fraud in voting in the Ukrane without an explanation as to
how this fraud was determined. Those that have been following the story know that this is a consequence of exit polls.

Now we will see if the exit polls will give the electorial results that were predicted by the exit polls in ohio. Of course, now they count god damn vote a month after the god damn election.

It's about time. Let's face it, they cannot keep something stinky forever, the truth will come out. In case these people at the top forgot, let us remind them: We The People own this country, they are our employees, We are The Power

Anarchy-nonymous

He's being totally stealth on this one. Some say he's staying low to keep the Bush Admin directly out of the recount issue, assuming that if he started pining on TV about vote fraud, the Republican Army would gear up for war. It seems to me the time is now to go national. Republicans would look like total hypocrites fighting the recount after the Ukrainian scandal.

I actually live within spitting distance of the Delaware (Ohio) County Courthouse where Judge Whitney issued his original opinion that called a receount "a waste of money" when he ruled against the recount effort.

I can tell you that Delaware is a *very* Republican place, and that Duncan Whitney is a Republican judge (former county prosecutor), but even so, I was encouraged by the number of Kerry (and other) signs before the election.

Funny thing about it, Duncan Whitney has always seemed fair and straight forward in the past, even with things that weren't particularly party line. I wonder if he *really* did think the recount would be a waste of money, or if he was playing politics? Maybe both?

Outsider looking in

Anybody that can not see the corruption and Deception that went on to make G.W. win this election deserves this regime, however, I strongly believe Americans are much smarter and will not let this go Unchallenged. This is the start and it's NEVER TOO LATE ! !

just somebody else

Looking at the politics in America and the rest of the world and what all has already been put underway, it may really be already too late. But what if not? Is Kerry then able to putthings right? Probably it´s already much, much later now than we can imagine.

Pissed Beyond Belief!

It is great that there will be a complete recount in Ohio, but what about ALL of the states in the "Union"? What can we do to ensure that all votes are accounted for, and any illegal votes are not not included? It is a shame that the American population seems to be more interested in election fraud in the Ukraine yet ignores it when it happens right under their noses. Imagine what could be done if all justifiably disgruntled voters stormed down to the U.S. Capitol and demanded a recount.
