Hike at threatened Sand Lake Estuary & Dunes this Saturday, Nov. 13th

Please help protect and defend one of Oregon's most spectacular estuaries
Sand Lake Public Hike

On Saturday, November 13th there will be a public hike at Sand Lake. This is an opportunity to see the beautiful beach, dunes and wetlands of Sand Lake and learn about this diverse natural area threatened by a golf course development proposal.

Meeting Place: Tierra Del Mar Community Hall
Bilyeu Avenue, Tierra Del Mar.
The Community Hall is the first building on the left after you turn on Bilyeu.
Time: 12:00 Noon, Saturday, November 13th.
Be prepared for wet weather!
How to get there: Tierra Del Mar is located just north of Pacific City and Cape Kiwanda State Park on Sandlake Road.

From Tillamook, take Highway 101 south and turn right on Sandlake Road. Follow Sandlake Road west and then south to Tierra Del Mar. Turn right on Bilyeu Avenue to the Community Hall.

If you are coming from the south, take Highway 101 and turn left on Brooten Rd. (west) towards Pacific City. Drive into Pacific City and turn left at a 4-way stop. Drive over the bridge and turn right on Sandlake Rd. and stay on this road to Tierra Del Mar. Turn left on Bilyeu Avenue to the Community Hall.
