What the petroleum corporations want (control of crude oil deposits in Iraq/Iran/Syria/Saudi Arabia, etc..) happens to be the same thing that Zionist Judeo-Chrisitian leaders like Bush/Sharon want (control of religious artifacts/sites located in Iraq/Israel/etc..). Arafat's role in the oppression of Palestinians is unique in that while he may profess to care about the Palestinian people, he may also be financially benefitting from the increased military spending in the US/Israeli weapons manufacture. This is a baseless accusation and speculation but people need to be critical thinkers and monitor their "leaders" at all times.
