Here's how to turn your city into a No-Fly Zone for chemtrail planes:

HOW TO STOP CHEMTRAILS1. From a private pilot, pilot's airport gift shop or other agency, buy or borrow an aeronautical chart for your region. Check out the charted air routes, drawn in purple or magenta, for your area. Look for Military Exercise Areas, and any air navigation beacons in your vicinity, which could account for unusual or sporadic concentrations of aircraft. If none are shown to be a factor, proceed to Step 2.

HOW TO STOP CHEMTRAILS2. Optional: Download and activate "Flight Explorer" trial
software. Learn how to identify aircraft flying over your region.

HOW TO STOP CHEMTRAILS3. Videotape multiple aircraft laying chemtrail patterns over your
city, town or neighborhood. Three, four or more planes flying in close
proximity to each other while spreading broad white plumes is best. Summer
days work well because normal contrails cannot form if the air is too hot and too
dry. If you can get similar-size jets leaving brief or no contrails in the same shot
with planes leaving long white plumes, your video will be even more convincing.)
Use a digital camcorder and tripod, if you can, for telephoto shots. Turn the
time/date function in the display "ON". Local networks will want to use your

HOW TO STOP CHEMTRAILS4. Call the nearest airport weather office, or go online and find out
the temperature and humidity for 35,000 feet at the time and place you shot your video. Tankers leaving a radar-reflecting haze have been tracked at altitudes from 18,800 to 37,000 feet. Higher altitudes are more common - and colder. So if you document temperatures much warmer than minus 40F and relative humidity much less than 70% at 35,000 - atmospheric science says what you are seeing cannot be the frozen water vapor of normal airliner condensation trails. Put this information away for later use.

HOW TO STOP CHEMTRAILS4. Optional: Use "Flight Explorer" to find all commercial and military flight plans for the place and time your video was taken. When Mark Steadham did this for Houston in the winter of 2000, he discovered that identified airliners and military aircraft at the time of his observations were simultaneously leaving plumes lasting 22 seconds and four to eight hours respectively. Combining stratospheric temp/humidity date with "Flight Explorer" can make a convincing case for chemtrails. If you don't want to futz with "Flight Explorer", go directly to Step 4.

HOW TO STOP CHEMTRAILS4. Call the closest airport tower or air traffic control center and ask
to speak with the person in charge. Write down their name. Ask what all those big planes are doing flying over your town. Assume
an ignorant but concerned citizen's stance.


Do not make any accusations or allegations. If the reply is,
"We don't know," respond as two Canadian brothers recently did, and remind the
air traffic official you're speaking with that it's their job to know. If you are told
that these planes are normal airliners - ask for the specific airlines involved.
Then explain the reason for your concern:

HOW TO STOP CHEMTRAILS5. The big jets are flying too close together! Aren't commercial jetliners supposed to fly miles apart - especially over populated areas? But these planes are flying formations in grids, rows or X's? Isn't this illegal?

immediate cessation of this dangerous aerial activity.

find local allies interested in pressing a Class Action lawsuit for
public endangerment. Do not use the word "chemtrails" in your new
organization's name. Instead of referring to "blue skies" or air quality issues, the
moniker you choose should focus on air safety, and the health, serenity and safety
of those on the ground.

HOW TO STOP CHEMTRAILS8. Check with environmental organizations and other citizen action groups to find a good lawyer willing to take your case. When it comes to aircraft proximity in flight, safety regulations are extremely strict. Your time-and-date-stamped videotape - and eyewitnesses at the time it was made - can be used to prove serious breaches of air regulations regarding commercial aircraft separation. And your group wins. If officials are forced to admit these were military planes, allowed to fly repeatedly over your neighborhood in crisscrossing formations, you win with an even bigger news story!

HOW TO STOP CHEMTRAILS9. Take out a classified ad. Using a bold headline, invite other
concerned citizens to join your class action lawsuit.

HOW TO STOP CHEMTRAILS10. Contact all the media you can reach, local and national. Prepare a
one-page press release. The first paragraph should announce your pending lawsuit. Briefly cite the incident(s) of heavy aircraft flying too close together, which precipitated you or your group's concern for public safety, which led to the lawsuit. Make sure to contact your cable TV station, as well as print and radio news.

HOW TO STOP CHEMTRAILS11. As the issue heats up, with public air safety officials being called
to account, take your campaign to the next level. What about all
the pollution coming from those jets? Isn't that illegal, too?

HOW TO STOP CHEMTRAILS12. When told by authorities that these plumes are "harmless"
contrails, remind them that the supposedly "safe" artificial clouds caused by
normal condensation trails can be seen as dangerous air pollution that robs the
blue skies essential to good health and life, while altering weather and climate by
drastically changing a region's atmospheric heat balance. Then point to your
temperature/humidity records to prove that the plumes you're citing cannot be
contrails because the upper air is too warm and too dry for any such artificial
clouds to form - unless massive amounts of particulates are added to the air for
moisture to coalesce around. The smaller the particles, the more clouds are
formed. And the greater the human health hazard that results. Repeat Steps 6
through 10. Network with other cities and groups. Contact the media about the
twin menace of contrails and chemtrails. Spread the word.

You have got to cause a stink in the popular mind, it is the only way to save yourselves from them.

And god bless Dennis kucinich who attempted to introduce a bill in 2001 that would ban chemtrails operations--though hardly anyone supported it. One of the few Congressional friends to the American people--and the world--is Dennis Kucinich.

FLYER #1 mentions how Congressional and governmental stalling is excellent evidence of a coordinated cover-up. Plus, it has some testimonials that are excellent hooks for people to explore the referenced website.

FLYER #2 is a detailed timeline of documentable evidence about chemtrails with its HAARP connections, beginning in 1994. This one has detailed medical reports as well about chemtrails.

By the way, I have little love of trolls, unlike some other comments referenced at "Chemtrails over Portland" article,  http://portland.indymedia.org/en/2004/02/280993.shtml . I hope he gets a nice whiff of the chemtrails or his kids get sick--and then he has to log back in and pretend nothing is going on. That would be true torture.

RECOMMENDED WAY TO FOLD THEM: Put page 2 face up towards yourself. Fold right-most third panel over middle second panel. Then, use fingernail to make the sharp and fine fold for the cover, while holding page 1's title/cover image towards yourself. It does fit. I have done this numerous times already.

PRINT THEM 'landscape, double sided' (or if you just have access to a single sided printer, just print on both sides of the same paper by manually feeding it in twice.)

The second flyer is set up to 'self-replicate,' because in the text it references back to the original URL for the Portland IMC article. So, anyone who gets a printed copy via a handout operation can see the link, get on the web, come to the Portland IMC, and get the original PDFs for themselves to print and distribute to others they know.

First, I have to ask if this post is even appropriate on Indymedia. The page it links to charges to view the video in question. Thus, this post appears to be a form of advertising for a commercial product. I wasn't aware such things were normally permitted on Indymedia.

Second, I'm extremely reluctant to spend $6 sight unseen to view a video produced by a known disreputable journalist (dropped by the Environmental News Service for his shoddy reporting) and snake-oil salesman (Thomas makes money selling "cures" for "illness" caused by the "chemtrails" he alleges exist). Especially in light of how I've never run across anything written by Thomas or any other chemtrails advocate that constitutes an effective argument that their pet conspiracy actually exists.

Oops, missed the free video link. Decided to give it a play. Here's a review of approximately the first third of it:

Lie #1: Only seen since 1998. Sorry, have seen plenty of 'em since I started paying serious attention to weather observation back in the mid-to-late 1970's.

Lie #2: Normal contrails dissipate, chemtrails don't. Normal contrails have been known *since at least 1942* to be persistent under certain weather conditions. Persistent contrails were studied in depth during World War II, when the Air Force was concerned about them giving away the presence of high-flying bombers to the enemy.

Half-Truth #1: The patterns, parallel lines and tic-tac-toe patterns. Think for a minute. There's more than one flight between LA and Seattle each day, isn't there? In fact, there's *hundreds* of *scheduled passenger flights alone* (not to mention air cargo flights, chartered jets, and corporate jets) between Seattle and Vancouver, BC and the major California airports. All have to fly over the same general area in the same general direction. They can't fly in the exact same spots because then either they'd crash into each other or crash from the turbulence generated by the plane in front of them. So they fly in parallel paths, which is why you often see parallel lines in the skies above Portland. If two such air lanes intersect, you'll of course see a grid or tic-tac-toe pattern. So the fact that such patterns exist is hardly conclusive proof of chemtrails.

Half-Truth #2: The seeding of clouds. Normal contrails can seed clouds. They contain soot particles from the combustion of jet fuel. Such particles act as condensation nuclei for moisture aloft. Adding nuclei and a little extra moisture can easily push air that's nearly a cloud into becoming a cloud. So the seeding of clouds is not conclusive proof of chemtrails, either.

Half-Truth #3: The clouds so seeded sometimes happens on days forecast to be clear. Well now, that proves it. Everyone knows weather forecasts are never wrong.

Half-Truth #4: The increasing number of trails. There's been a huge increase in air traffic in the last two or three decades. Air travel has gone from something done by only a few to a means of mass transportation. Many competing delivery firms have all sprung up promising overnight delivery between distant cities. So the increasing number of trails doesn't prove anything, either.

Lie #3: "You know it's not passenger planes making these patterns..." No, I don't know it's not passenger planes. In fact, I'm almost certain that many of them are being made by passenger planes. Here, Thomas is actually ordering me what to believe, instead of trying to convince me. Passenger planes (and any plane that burns jet fuel aloft) are perfectly capable of making them.

Lie #4: The "close proximity" breaks separation rules. I see no evidence such are being violated. Apparently "intersecting" and "close" trails can be separated by vertical distance not apparent from the ground. Where's the radar data that they are too close?

Half-Truth #5: White or sliver-colored "jet tankers". Many commercial fleets have lots of white in their liveries, or have planes that are mostly unpainted aluminum. So the color is hardly evidence they're not ordinary civilian aircraft. And no evidence is provided that the plane picture is a "tanker"... just a claim I'm supposed to accept on Thomas's unsubstantiated say-so.

Half-Truth #6: Even commercial planes have been observed with unusually-thick trails. Yes, many commercial planes have been observed leaving thick trails. I don't see any evidence that this is unusual, however

That's about 1/3 the way through. It would give me great fun to go through the rest of the clip, but I've already spent way too much time geeking on the net today as it is. So I'll tie a knot on it.
