CNN's "Undecided" Voter Turns Out To Be A GOP Operative

CNN gets duped by Edward Martos. They thought he was an "undecided" voter, but he turned out to be a GOP operative.

Yesterday, CNN's Bill Hemmer interviewed "undecided" voter, Edward Martos. Martos is actually a GOP operative who is involved heavily with the University of Miami College Republicans' and who has served as the Assistant Editor in Chief of the College Republicans' newsletter. He is such an undecided voter that he actually helped draft the constitution of the University Of Miami College Republicans. Martos, of course, by all measure, is not an undecided voter, but CNN refuses to report that they were duped.

Martos made the statement below to CNN, discussing why he is an "undecided" voter.

"Well, they took the words out of my mouth, Tony and Vicky. I've got to say, though, that I think, first and foremost, from Bush I'm looking for him to explain, you know, that he understands some of the things he did wrong, that he is going to take an approach that is slightly different from what he has been doing. At the same time, though, I think the problems in foreign policy are so great that -- and he created them himself -- that he's the only one capable of solving the problem."

"From Kerry, I do want to see some precise answers. I want him to frame everything that he's been saying, provide some answers for accusations that he's been flip-flopping, and I want to see some tenacity. I want him to broaden the discussion away from Iraq. I want him to talk about issues like free trade area of the Americas and North Korea."

Suspicions were first raised that Martos might be an undercover GOP operative when a junior CNN staffer noticed Martos' knuckles scraped the floor when he walked. Despite being alerted to this telltale characteristic, CNN management allowed Martos to participate without taking any further action to screen him.

what about the anti-troop prostester who is sending false e-mails about a possible military draft? where is your disgust in that?

Oh, I am disgusted with George Bush's proposed draft 01.Oct.2004 22:37

Amadeus

Oh, I am disgusted with the upcoming draft, but here we are talking about a GOP loser named Edward Martos that had to lie so his candidate would look more appealing. I guess if I was supporting someone so inept and ignorant, as George W. Bush, I would lie and say I was undecided too.

Stay Tuned! Next, I will write about how stupid the GOP'ers are in still believing Chimp Bush on the "justification" of invading Iraq. A war based on false pretenses, where is YOUR outrage. ~Amadeus

Voter Registrations Possibly Trashed

(Oct. 12) -- Employees of a private voter registration company allege that
hundreds, perhaps thousands of voters who may think they are registered will
be rudely surprised on election day. The company claims hundreds of
registration forms were thrown in the trash.

Anyone who has recently registered or re-registered to vote outside a mall
or
grocery store or even government building may be affected.

The I-Team has obtained information about an alleged widespread pattern of
potential registration fraud aimed at democrats. Thee focus of the story is
a private registration company called Voters Outreach of America, AKA America Votes.

The out-of-state firm has been in Las Vegas for the past few months,
registering voters. It employed up to 300 part-time workers and collected
hundreds of registrations per day, but former employees of the company say
that Voters Outreach of America only wanted Republican registrations.

Two former workers say they personally witnessed company supervisors rip up
and trash registration forms signed by Democrats.

...
The landlord says Voters Outreach was evicted for non-payment of rent.
Another source said the company has now moved on to Oregon where it is once
again registering voters.  It's unknown how many registrations may have been
tossed out, but another ex-employee told Eyewitness News she had the same
suspicions when she worked there.
......

The company has been largely, if not entirely funded, by the Republican
National Committee. Similar complaints have been received in Reno where the
registrar has asked the FBI to investigate.

More Dirty Tricks from the Dirty Tricks Party!!! 13.Oct.2004 10:53

zinsky s.kriz@comcast.net

These vermin from the GOP cannot win an election based on open and honest discussion of the issues, so they resort to subterfuge and underhandedness like this greasy dirtball.

They have been the Dirty Tricks Party since the days of Father Coughlin in the 1940s and Joe McCarthy in the 1950s. They are unAmerican garbage and every decent American should vote them out of party.

The GOP is essentially the largest criminal enterprise in American history.

Hello-

Are you aware of what the Sinclair Broadcast Group is planning on doing in the days before the election? This right-wing media conglomerate, in control of multiple broadcast stations throughout the country will soon pre-empt prime time programming to air a one-sided "documentary" portraying John Kerry as a treasonous anti-war activist who was personally responsible for everything from the prolonging of the Vietnam war to the torture of POWs in Hanoi due to his testifying against the war in Congress. (Heaven forbid anyone should ever question an unjust war!) Read the details:

 http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/10/12/kerry.program/index.html
 http://www.observer.com/pages/frontpage2.asp
 http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/3737956.stm

Sinclair should make the Bush campaign pay for this political propaganda - or at least offer to air a Democratic response movie (like the equally propagandistic Fahrenheit 911 or Going Upriver: The Long War of John Kerry) to more accurately balance what is in effect free political advertising for the incumbent - unprecedented in media history.

With the FCC under Republican control, there is little hope of getting this broadcast pulled, or having Sinclair offer to air equal time for the Democratic challenger. Their partisan abuse of public airwaves smacks of Republican desperation. Of course, one could say having Fox News cheerlead for Bush 24/7 is also having an effect, but nothing will be changing that anytime soon.

Here is something that you can do to help stop Sinclair - hit them where it hurts, their ad revenue. Send this info out to everyone you know who cares about this country, and perhaps some will take the time to call or email the advertisers for the affiliate stations that may air the Republican produced attack "documentary":

If No Draft was in the works 14.Oct.2004 16:05

Adam

If No Draft was in the works, then why did the Senate vote against a draft last week? You republicans who claim no draft is being put together are being duped by your own party. Look up HR 163 on your favorite search engine. Try to use your brain for more than a neck warmer. I have learned during the past 3.75 years that republicans don't stand for anything anymore, instead they stand for whatever Bush stands for, even when he changes his position 180 degrees. Bush said we went to war for WMD, now that he has been proved to be completely wrong, he now claims we went to war to liberate Iraq. But none of the troops in Iraq give a rats ass about the Iraqi's, infact they hate them and fear them. For any Iraqi may be a bomb in disguise. Mr Bush is lost in left field.
