HHS Public Awareness Program

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), SEA Project, and The Protection Project of the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) would like to invite you to an upcoming HHS Public Awareness program entitled "Rescue and Restore" to be held on October 4, 2004. This program will be held at the Benson Hotel, located at 309 Southwest Broadway from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There is no registration fee for this event; however, we ask that participants register by October 1. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. "Rescue and Restore" will focus on the unique concerns of service providers, law enforcement officials and advocates in the greater Portland metropolitan area. Specifically, the program will discuss the special needs of victims of trafficking in persons and the benefits available to them in accordance with the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000.
