So, we knew he was heartless

this says it all...the only one in the photo that does not have his hand on his heart. Of course, he has no compassion, no heart.
President Bush (news - web sites) and first lady Laura Bush, right, take part in a moment of silence, Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004, on the South Lawn of the White House to mark the third anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Second left is former Solicitor General Ted Olson, with his granddaughters Jillian, left, and Kirstin Olson, right. Olson lost his wife Barbara in the plane that hit the Pentagon (news - web sites) on Sept. 11, 2001.
His hand is closer to his spleen 13.Sep.2004 08:58

Tom

It is hard to tell whether he is holding his hand over his stomach, his colon or his spleen--

Compassion, however, is not associated with any of those organs.

probaly his gut 13.Sep.2004 09:11

watching

he's probably about ready to wretch over the sentiment being displayed...

Hehehe... 13.Sep.2004 09:11

Tony Blair's dog

Classic Napoleon pose 13.Sep.2004 11:16

Me

Napoleon posed that way - hand on stomach (but with fingers just inside coat). Perhaps Georgie boy fancies himself a 21st Century Napoleon. Perhaps he deserves the same fate. Perhaps St. Helena is still available.

posting is a waste of time 13.Sep.2004 11:20

Lawrence Maushard

cheap shots at Shrub serve no purpose, and neither does this posting

It tells you that W 13.Sep.2004 11:47

has no clue.

But that was not what Colonel Mustard wanted you to know.

ah, but you're wrong 13.Sep.2004 11:50

this photo serves as a prime example of the sort of person bush is; an important thing to know who is running the country. a photo is worth a thousand words...

If I Only Had a Heart! 13.Sep.2004 12:13

pp

He doesn't know where his heart is -- if he even has one.

Actually, he's covering his penis. 13.Sep.2004 13:51

K

He's a weenie wager by nature. His hand his holding his jacket so that it blocks the gaping hole where his zipper should be. His pecker is so small, there's no chance of a bulge showing.

Bush hand signal not an accident 13.Sep.2004 15:53

.

It is a secret society signal. I saw a PIMC piece a while back that catalogued this hand signal among the elite but I forgot the meaning. But given the history of Bush and his occult practices I would not be able to decipher.

Don't Ask! 13.Sep.2004 16:07

"I do not need to explain why I (do) things. That's the interesting thing about being president. Maybe somebody needs to explain to me why they (do) something, but I don't feel like I owe anybody an explanation."

-- George W. Bush, former governor of Texas
"I make decisions in the Oval Office."

heartfull

i saw a bit of Leno last night and he showed this same photo and wondered why Bush did not know where his heart is! Indeed, this is an important photo! And I would love to hear more about the secret security sign of this gesture if anyone has any info on it.
